chapter 2: worst and freakiest day

Martinet's POV

We entered the class room and sat down in our usual places , with me next to and Adrien and Nino in front of us.

Well technically they were in the front row with us in the second row.

"Hey girl I've missed you so much"said my best friend

"hey Als haven't seen you in a while how's it going"

"Als ?"she questioned.

"Yeah it's a new nickname for you , come on we've known each other for a year now nicknames are allowed"

"ok Mari what ever you say!"she smirked.

"Yoh dudet how are you"

"am good Nino how about you"

"am alright".

We all chat for a while until miss Bustia walks in.

"Morning students. Now I have some very good news. Lila is back from her trip to visit her best friend the princess of China .I hope you all welcome her back with open arms" she said.

She walked in and I felt my heart drop while the class erupted into cheers.

I soon joined in not wanting to look like the bad person in this situation.

As she passed my desk I saw her smirk. SMIRK! Oh no no no no no this is not good, not good at all.

She has something bad up her sleeve. I suddenly get this wired feeling like something bad is going to happen today.

Oh god I'm doomed. The lesson continues as usual with a lot of work to do and more homework on top of it.

Lunch time comes and as I walk into the cafeteria I see Lila surrounded by lots people telling more of he 'life stories'

"Ugh wouldn't want to be part of that crowd" I say to Tikki

"I know what you mean if she were penakio her nose would have gone around the world 2 times now"she replies earning a laugh from me .

As I am about to reply I see her zoom back inside my purse and I knew someone was coming my way

"Come on girl we're missing some very good stories over there"

I grumble knowing any thing I say protesting against it will automatically makeme look like a bad person and let her drag me to the table

Not wanting to listen to any of Lila's poisonous lies I take out my sketch book and start working on some designs while eating a crossait.

I see Lila look at me with a frown on her face.

"What's wrong Marinette am I not interesting enough for your liking." she says now all eyes are on me great just great.

"Nope it's just that your stories are so interesting they have inspired me to work on a few designs."

Technically it's not a lie all her lies have inspired me to start an anti lies line.

"Oh then I should tell you about my best friend ladybug" she says

"of course Lila continue" I say hoping that she will make a slip exposing her to one of the miraculous holders here.

"Well you see since she is my best friend she told me that I will be the  next superhero of Paris"

" Oh really I thought those kind of things were classified and you shouldn't tell them to anyone" I said with a smirk on my face

"well you are just jealous because I'm best friends with superheroes and your not I even know all of their identities" she just continues to lie.

I wish she'd stop because in the end she'll just end up hurting her self more.

After the last comment alya starts pulling me away from the group.

Ha she Lila let it slip and she doesn't even realize it. Now Ayla knows she's lying. In your face Lie-la  oops I mean Lila.

Before we had made our full escape she said"ooh I'm even a better designer then you not only have I designed jagged stones jacket I also designed the princesses of China and Spain ball gowns".

At this point Ayla face was read with anger but I just burst out into fits of laughter earning confused looks from some of my classmates.

" What ever you say Lila whatever you say" I said as I grab Alya and start to walk away followed by Nino who is trying to calm Alya down and Adrien who has a proud look on .

"Ughhh" Alya screams in anger and annoyance "can you believe that lier"

I smile and say"finally someone catches on"

"huh" she says as she and Nino look at me with confusion written all over their faces.

"Yes I've known for a while along with Adrien .Infact I've been trying to expose her until somebody stopped me " I said pointing at Adrien

"great they will never figure out who it was now" mumbles causing all of us to burst into laughter.

"I'm just glad that someone was finally able to figure it out" I say .

They head back to while I go to the bathroom. Bad luck is on my side today because guess who I run into Lila.

"So you though the little stunt you pulled there was funny"she saysm

"I have no idea what your talking about" I reply

" oh don't play dumb with me you know exactly what I talking about. And soon they'll hate you they will all hate you."

"What ever you say Lila "

"I'm serious this time especially when they see what you've done to me"

"I don't know what your talking about" I say as I head out of the bathroom.

3rd person POV

Marinette walks into class and takes her seat.

"What took you so long?"asks  Alya

"oh nothing just ran into Lila"

"what did she say to you"

"oh nothing much just a few treats about making everyone hate me blah blah blah"

" like she would be able to succeed in that, I mean you are one of the the nicest girls I've ever met" says Adrien making Marinette blush.

They chat for a while until Lila comes in limping.

"Oh my God! Lila what happened to you"asks rose.

"Oh guys it's horrible Marinette beat me up all because she was jealous of me."

"Wait what"she say as it watch the little devil frame her for something she didn't do.

"it's all true listen to this recording it has all the you need"she said as she pressed play on the recording of 'marinette' insulting not only her but the class as a whole.

When the recording is over most of the class is glaring at Marinette, Alya is red with anger(she is not angry at Marinette but at Lila and her lies instead).

Adrien for some reason is glaring at Lila while Nino gives Marinette the sympathetic look.

Chloe's POV (didn't expect that did you 😏)

Yeah I don't buy a word this girl is saying.

I might not like Marinette that much but I do know that she is one of the kindest and most loving girls I've ever met.

I mean she threw me a party when everyone was taunting queen bee.

She was able to convince my mom to to stay in Paris with me.

I mean she was even able to trick her into seeing how much we have in common. I might not admit it but I have a bit of a soft spot for her.

I'm speaking up because this is not right. "I don't buy it" I say

"excuse me" she says glaring at me.

"I don't believe you what you saying is rediculous urtly rediculous"

"ok I've got to speak up for my bestie. Guys we all know Marinette would never do or say these things"Alya says and they is a murmur of  agreement from a lot of people in the class.

"Oh no did I do it again. I can't believe it I'm so sorry Marinette. I can't believe the disease that makes me lie would make me do this"the little she devil say's.

"I'm so sorry guys plz forgive me"she says to the class. Oh she's good really good I'm going to be watching her really closely .

"It's ok Lila we forgive you."says Rose. I soon receive a letter from Marinette.

It says thanks for standing up for for me back there  I quickly write a reply and pass it back to her

Marinette POV

I unfold the letter and it says no prob just because we're enemy's doesn't mean I hate you and we shall never speak of this again.

I smile at the note I don't know what's going on today but this is the worst(tnx to Lila)  and freakiest day of my life.
