Lyra woke up on the couch. Her heart ached and there was this light ache in her chest.

Everything that happened yesterday all came rushing back. Her coming home devastated at Elijah choosing Elena, her talking with Katherine when she felt this unbearable pain in her chest. She immediately knew what that meant and broke down. The rest is a blur, but she could make out Dorian comforting her.

She sat up as she smelled pancakes and got up to head towards the kitchen. She found a plate with pancakes and some fruits, also Katherine and Dorian making out.

She was not amused as she cleared her throat, the couple jumped away from each other as they now looked at her. Dorian covered his embarrassment up with a smile as he greeted "Hi Lyra, I made you your favourite pancakes!"

Lyra just gave a hum and sat on the chairs to eat her breakfast.

Katherine and Dorian shared awkward looks. Dorian sighed and announced "Uhm, Stefan is coming by later. Me, him and Katherine are going to talk about everything."

Lyra just nodded and declared "I'll be out of the house then. Is he coming by in a few hours or a few minutes."

"Hours" Katherine revealed as she looked at Lyra in concern.

Lyra finished her food and got up while announcing "I'm going to take a small nap and then I'll get ready to leave."

Dorian looked like he wanted to say something, but held back as he nodded and gave her a sad smile as she left.

"I haven't seen her that sad since..." Dorian trailed off and shook his head, before smiling and asking Katherine "Want to make some snacks for later?"

Katherine smiled and nodded her head.

Lyra woke up on a bed made out of straw? She looked around and found herself in a cottage of some sort. It looked old and when she stood up to look out of the window, she saw the same village that she was in when she saw Finn.

She walked through the house and into some sort of living room, Finn was there crouching down while putting logs of wood into the fire.

She stepped forward, but ended up knocking something down which drew the attention of Finn. She looked at him before bending down to put the item back. Just as she grabbed it, Finn appeared and also tried picking it up.

They both looked at each other, making eye contact and sharing a smile, before putting the item back.

Finn stood up first and held out his hand for her. She smiled and grabbed it as he pulled her up and into his arms. She laughed "Well that was smooth."

His face scrunched up as he asked "What do you mean with that?"

She just laughed harder, she smiled while explaining "It's a term in the present for charming someone."

He pressed his lips together as he nodded in recognition while ranting "I knew that, of course. I know every present term."

Lyra almost laughed at his bad acting, she gave him a look as she cut off his ranting "Finn" He looked at her with a head tilt, making her almost aww at his innocence "I know about you and your siblings, the daggers... Vampires."

His face dropped as he stepped away and looked at her coldly "Is this one of Niklaus's games? Does he think it's funny to torment me more by making me see my soulmate while being daggered?"

"No!" Lyra quickly denied as she stepped closer, but Finn stepped away "I am not one of Klaus's games, I am real and I have no idea how I am here."

"How do I know you speak the truth?" Finn narrowed his eyes.

She got closer, but when he stepped away again, she held out her hand while asking "May I?" He frowned, but nodded nonetheless and she got close enough to put her hand on his arm.

The minute their skin made contact, it felt like this arm was made out of sparks as it tingled under her touch. His shoulder mark didn't burn, but it did throb. Lyra's lower back throbbed, but it wasn't painful for either of them.

He looked into her eyes and whispered "You are real..."

She gave him a smile, before she felt this painful sensation burning over almost her entire body. She dropped to the ground while screaming.

Finn dropped along side her as he held her and kept asking "What's wrong? What's happening?"

She closed her eyes and got visions of Elijah being burned by Damon holding a flame thrower. Her eyes opened and she just managed to grit out "Elijah..."

Now Finn was even more confused "My brother?"

She nodded and the pain slowly faded, she was about to speak up once again. But distant yelling was heard "Lyra! Lyra wake up!"

They both looked up and Finn asked "Who is that?

"Dorian" She trailed off as the world turned black and the last thing she saw was Finn looking into her eyes.

Lyra gasped awake as Dorian sat next to her while shaking her shoulder, his face was etched in fear while Katherine watched from the doorway.

She looked at him in confusion while asking "Dorian? What are you doing?"

"What am I doing? You were screaming Lyra, like you were in pain. Were you having a nightmare?" Dorian asked as he looked at her in concern.

"No..." She shook her head and frowned "I was having a dream, an amazing dream. But I got visions of Elijah being burned by Damon."

Katherine piped in "You're bond is still new and the dagger makes it weaker. You can feel his pain more then ever."

Lyra's expression dulled and she took a deep breath, quickly changing the conversation. She asked "How long is it before Stefan comes over?"

Dorian shook his head "He will be here in an hour, but that doesn't matter right now. If you want to stay home then you can."

"No" Lyra objected "It's fine, I'll get ready to leave right now."

She got off the bed and walked towards her closet, Dorian and Katherine shared concerned looks.

Sensing that they were still there, Lyra turned to them and gave them a fake smile while reassuring "I'm fine, go back to what you love birds were doing."

Dorian sighed and got off the bed and out of the room, Katherine gave her one last look before following after him.

They walked downstairs started to put every snack they made on the living room table, Katherine hesitantly asked "Isn't there anything you can do to get through to Lyra?"

Dorian breathed in sharply as he set the last thing on the table "I can't. There used to be one person who could always get through to her and make her move on, but they aren't here and I am certainly not capable of doing the things he could."

Lyra came walking down the stairs in a party outfit as she announced "If you need me, I'll be at the grill. I just got a call and their singer got in an accident, they asked me to be the replacement. Have fun!"

They gave her a smile and wave as she left.

After a few minutes, the doorbell rang and Dorian walked over to open it.

Stefan stood on the other side with two small flower bouquets, he smiled as Dorian opened the door.

Dorian looked at the flowers in confusion as Stefan handing him a bouquet "What is this?"

"A small gift to make a good start" Stefan grinned as Dorian opened the door wider for him to get in, he walked in and saw Katherine. He took a deep breath before smiling and handing her also a bouquet.

It honestly shocked her, she narrowed her eyes in suspicious and accused "Didn't you hate me?"

As all of them moved to sit down, Stefan admitted "I have accepted that if I want to be with Dorian, then I will have to live with the fact that you are also his mate. It's better if we stay civil, so the flowers are a gift to make amends."

Katherine smelled the flowers and smiled as she agreed "Civil it is."

Dorian blinked in shock "That wasn't as dramatic as I had thought it would be, anyway moving onto another conversation we wanted to have" Dorian looked at Stefan as he confessed "We are not helping you in stopping the ritual."

Stefan sat up straighter, but he didn't exactly look shocked "I already had a suspicion of that, my only question is why?"

"Before we explain, we just want to make it clear that we technically are not on Klaus's side. We are on our own side" Katherine piped in and moved to sit closer to Dorian, Klaus was still a sensitive subject for her.

Dorian grabbed her hand and continued "Imagine something blocking you from your true self and you have to go a thousand years without it."

Stefan furrowed his brows "Where are you going with this?"

"The sun and moon curse is fake" Dorian revealed and Stefan looked at both of them in shock "It doesn't exist, it's a cover up for a real curse."

"Hold up" Stefan held is hand up and pointed at Katherine "Why don't you look shocked by this?"

Katherine shrugged "Lyra, Elijah, Dorian and me have already talked about most of this."

Stefan nodded and Dorian continued "The real curse is one on Klaus, he isn't just an original Vampire. He is also a werewolf and the curse locks that away, he wants to break it of course and we will help him" Stefan went to intervene, but Dorian didn't let him "But Elena will not stay dead, we have a way for her to get back to life."

"We will make a deal with Klaus for my freedom and that he has to let Elena live her life, with the exception that she has to donate some blood every month. But other then that he isn't allowed to mess with her" Katherine further elaborated.

Dorian also added "We also have a way for him to agree to the deal, but Damon and Elena will also have to agree."

Stefan nodded and concluded "I can't tell you if they will or will not agree. I don't know what it is, but it's like I have been lifted from a spell ever since me and Elena broke up. No offence, but she is even worse then you" He pointed to Katherine "Dragging me and my brother around, making us risk our lives constantly and making us pay for her mistakes."

Katherine smirked "Seems like the Elena Gilbert spell has finally broken."

Stefan sent her a 'Really?' look. He then turned to Dorian and asked "So what's the plan?"

Dorian pressed his lips together as he confessed "We cannot tell you" Stefan frowned and Dorian shared "It's not that we don't want to, it's just that Lyra and Katherine both don't think it's a good idea to trust you that much. What if all of this is just some ploy to only help Elena?"

Stefan turned to Katherine and she shrugged "I mean if what you are saying right now is true, then yes maybe we could trust you. But again, you helped them dagger Elijah. He is the one who has the means to bring Elena back."

Stefan sat back in defeat and sighed "Look, I hope one day all of you will trust me. But I understand."

Dorian smiled, but his smile faded as he remembered something. He looked to Stefan and demanded "Call Damon right now."

"Why" Stefan asked as he looked even more confused at the sudden demand.

"Because I need to know if something happened" Dorian exclaimed as Stefan frowned and made the call.

"Damon?" Stefan asked when someone picked up, his eyes dazed as he listened to Damon rant. Before he looked up in panic and stood up "What? I'll go there right now!" Stefan turned to them and explained "The Martin witches tried to undagger Elijah."

"Shit" Dorian cursed and reached for his own phone to call Lyra "Pick up, pick up goddamit!"

Lyra hadn't picked up and Dorian was panicking, he walked over and grabbed a jacket while ordering them "Speed over to the grill right now, Jonas is going to set the place on fire while trying to kidnap Elena."

The other two shared a look, before Katherine grabbed his arm and they were off.

"-I'd make it hurt but keep you alive and I bet I can" Lyra sings as she stares out in the crowd unemotionally.

She got there and was ushered to the stage to sing immediately, she did notice that it was after Caroline had sung to Matt. This was her 4th song and she hated that Dorian wasn't at her side and she was stuck with another male backup singer.

"I'd make you feel the way he did with the worst parts enhanced" Lyra sang and waited for the backup singer to continue.

"And then you'll be the victim of a man" The backup singer continued and gave her a smile, she ignored it with distaste.

She looked back into the crowd as she continued the song, but Dorian, Katherine and Stefan walking in caught her attention. Dorian made a hand gesture to wrap this up and she gave a discreet nod.

Dorian looks into the crowd and notices Bonnie talking to Dr. Martin. He looks back to the stage as he knows what will happen next, Lyra just finished her song and was making her way over to them.

As she reached them, she immediately asked Dorian "What's got you so ruffled up."

"We forgot about the Martin's" Dorian said and realisation dawned on Lyra's face.

She was about to say something, when Dr. Martin looked at the stage lights and they blew up. Katherine, Dorian, Lyra and Stefan were still pretty close to the stage so they had to duck down to not get hit with any shards.

Suddenly all the lights started to break and one of the light shards grazed Lyra's cheek. She hissed and swiped a finger over her cheek, she felt blood and clenched her fists.

She turned to the others and ordered "Stefan, get Elena out of here. Katherine, you need to go to Elena's house and pretend to be here just in case."

The two shared looks, before rushing off to do as their told. The way Lyra said it was honestly scary, her tone was dark and cold, neither of them wanted to be on her bad side at the moment.

Dorian wasn't afraid as he knew she would never hurt him, so he questioned "What are we going to do?"

"That jerk wants to play with magic? Let's give him some magic" Lyra gritted out and looked over as glasses started to break and a fire had started.

She found Dr. Martin talking to Elena, who was trying to bargain. Lyra gave a look to Dorian and they both started to head their way there.

Stefan saw them coming and quickly sped Elena, himself and Caroline out of there. She had appeared and tried finding out what was going on through him, but he didn't have the time.

Everyone now had escaped the building and the only ones left inside were Lyra, Dorian and Dr. Martin. He didn't see the two friends and tried making his way out, but Lyra stopped him before he could.

Lyra held out her hand and he dropped to the ground as he felt an excruciating pain in his head, like a thousand voices screaming in his head. Lyra smirked and asked "Where you going Doctor? The fun is just beginning."

Dorian held her hand and Lyra gripped Dr. Martin's arm before teleporting them out of there. She figured out she could teleport after sneezing and finding herself outside in the woods, it was quite the scare but she got a hold of it quickly.

She teleported them towards the woods just outside their house, Dr. Martin looked around in confusion as he breathed heavily.

He looked at the two friends and narrowed his eyes "A blood witch? I though those were extinct."

"You thought wrong" Dorian cold responded and looked at him blankly. He never really liked Dr. Martin in the series, he was too witchy prejudice.

Dr. Martin looked to Lyra next and scoffed "I can see why Elijah was so fond of you, you're power isn't one that I have ever seen."

Lyra just smirked, but her eyes were darker then coal "You have no idea" She held out her arms and the sounds of multiple birds were heard. One moment Dr. Martin was looking up and the next a whole flock of ravens were descending down on him and pecking at his skin.

Lyra and Dorian weren't bothered as they turned around, ignoring his screams, and walked back inside the house.

After showering, Lyra walked downstairs to get a snack only to find Stefan, Katherine and Dorian standing in the kitchen.

She slowed down her step and looked at them suspiciously as she made her way to the fridge "Are you guys having a meeting on who gets to fuck Dorian when and where or something?"

"Lyra!" Dorian yelled out in embarrassment as his face turned red, Katherine and Stefan hid their laughs.

"What? You guys could have" Lyra shrugged and opened the freezer to grab some ice cream.

"Actually now that your here, I want to promise you something" Stefan said as he looked at her, she just raised an eyebrow a while setting her ice cream on the counter and looking at him "I want to earn your trust, I really do. I care so much about Dorian and your his sister. You already have a dislike towards me because of Elijah and I get it, but I'll do anything to earn your trust and I get that it will take time."

Lyra hummed and moved to grab a spoon. She looked him straight in the eye as she admitted "You know what a good way is to start that trust? Get me Elijah's body, he's my mate and doesn't deserve to rot in some basement."

She didn't give him a chance to speak as she left the room, leaving Katherine and Dorian to stare at Stefan who was deep in thought.
