In the morning at breakfast you sat next to Petra as she still seemed tired and didn't say much. You were glad since you could feel Hanges eyes on you.

When breakfast finished and everyone started walking out you tried walking up to them.

"Hange." You called out to them as you were just behind them. They ignored you and kept walking.

Levi was right next to you and got annoyed at what he just saw. "Four eyes!" He yelled, but Hange kept walking ignoring the both of you.

"Tch, they're being so childish. Just forget them and remember what I said." He said walking away. You could tell he wanted you to be okay but you wanted them to notice you and not ignore you. It hurt.

At training your new section commander suggested you would teach everyone some moves since you're older and more skilled than a few so that's exactly what you did.

You taught them moves you had learned from your old squad. You learned basic stuff from Erwin and the cool trick moves from Levi.

You taught your whole squad everything you knew and they all learned pretty quickly. They were a very impressive group and it made you happy.

"Hey Y/n!" Petra called out running to you as you were going inside since training was over.

"Yeah?" You asked stopping to look at her as she rested her arms on her sides.

"Rematch." She declared with a grin on her face. "Right now."

"Right now? You sure?" You asked, with a smirk.

"Don't get so cocky now Y/n. I'm sure I can pin you down and win like yesterday." She smirked.

You put your hands up in defeat. "Fine, rematch." You both walked back to the training grounds. It was just you two out there and you were sure of it as you looked around.

"Alright let's go!" She yelled at you.

You quickly dodged, not expecting her to start so soon. She jabbed your sides making you wince but you held the pain in as you saw an opening and flipped her onto her back. You then held her steady but unexpectedly she pulled your leg making you fall and pinned you down once again just as yesterday.

You were out of breath as she was the same way on top of you. "Got you." She said then helped you up. You both dusted yourself off.

"Guess you did." You said, impressed. As you both walked back she stopped right in front of you making you stop as well.

"Something wrong?" You asked, eyeing her curiously.

She got up real close to you. You could feel your breath quicken at the contact. Her golden brown eyes looking up to your face. She then wiped your cheek with her sleeve.

"There! You had dirt smeared all over your face." She smiled then continued walking in as you just stayed frozen.

You were sure you didn't like Petra like that but  the contact was very awkward to you and made you feel weirded out.

The rest of the day you studied your new formation information you had been given. You tried to memorize since your old one was already memorized. It made you sad as you saw how far away you would now be from your old squad in expeditions.

You sighed resting your head on your desk as you heard a knock at your door.

"Come in!" You called out not bothering to turn around.

You heard your door close and turned around to see Petra. She smiled kindly at you walking up towards the desk.

"Hey Y/n.." She said kind of slurred. As she sat on your desk. The scent of alcohol from her breath reached your nose.

"Petra? Are you drunk?" You asked, sitting up and looking at her more concerned.

"What! No way!" She said laughing uncontrollably.

Your face planted into your hand. You couldn't have this. Not again.

"Can I stay with you.." She whispered into your ear. You looked over at her as she smirked. You knew it was really bad if you were caught but you would hate if she was caught drunk out there.

"Fine. But we're talking about this in the morning." You said sternly only to get a laugh out of her as you helped her to the bed.

It was now morning and you didn't even get a wink of sleep. When the brown hair girl got up she looked over to you and saw as you looked pissed with bags under your eyes and water next to you.

"Here, drink some water to help the headache." You said annoyed. "I'll get us breakfast since you're still..you know. But we will talk when I get back."

You left going out into the hall sighing. Hange not talking to you and this whole situation with Petra was stressing you out. Plus you didn't sleep at all so you knew you would be in a bad mood all day.

At breakfast the rest of your squad eyed you as you walked past the table. "Hey, Y/n!" Nanaba called out. You looked back going up to her. "Hey." You said plainly.

"Woah, you okay?" She asked.

"Perfect." You said sarcastically. "Can't be at breakfast today so I'll be in my room if that's alright?" You ask looking at the whole table as they nod at your weird behavior. You walk away.

"What's up with her?" Ask Oruo.

"No idea." Says Nanaba watching you leave.

Hange watches the whole conversation as they can't help but feel bad. They knew you for so long and knew you well enough to know that you probably didn't sleep and that you looked stressed.

Hange got up emptying their tray and following you in the hall.

"Hey, Petra I'm back." You said opening your door. Petra then looks at you and then behind making you turn around. Hange.

You don't even say anything as you're too tired. But you felt your heart break as they looked between you and Petra and you could see tears well up in their eyes.

"I was really hoping you were right Y/n. But sadly I was." They say walking away. You sigh not bothering and go into your room closing the door behind you as you just start crying uncontrollably.

"Y/n.." Petra starts.

"Please just leave me be. I'm so tired.." You say placing the tray down wiping your tears. "Just eat."

Petra eats silently as you try to calm yourself down. Why were all these things happening to you? You wanted everything to get better.

As Petra finished you cleared your throat straightening yourself as you looked at her.

"What happened yesterday?" You asked. "You were drunk."

Petra's face got flustered. She was so embarrassed of her actions and you could tell.

"I'm so sorry it was really just for fun. Me and Oruo found some wine in the kitchen late yesterday night, and it was one of those rich kinds only people like us would dream of drinking so we were like fuck it, but I didn't know I would get so out of hand. I apologize." She was upset and you could tell she was sorry.

"I forgive you, but if something like this happens again I am going to the commander." You say.

"Understood." She says immediately.

You sit on the bed laying back. Petra looks over at you and feels bad for the whole thing with Hange.

"May I ask what that was all about?" She asks.

"Don't worry about it." You say now getting up. "We have to get to training."

At training your whole squad doesn't bother you at all as your mood is the same.

"I'm really scared of Y/n right now." Says Oruo.

"She's pissed." Says Nanaba.

Petra also looks over at you hearing the two go on about you and can't help but feel at fault.

You go over to Petra when it's time for combat training. "Rematch." You say seriously.

Petra just nods, getting in stance. She goes at you first but you dodge flipping her over and this time you hold onto her tighter not letting her go. "I win." You say finally letting go.

Petra stays on the ground as you didn't even bother to help her up and walk over her.

You miss lunch and dinner and sleep instead. You heard a loud knock on your door and mumbled for them to enter.

Levi walks over to you crouching at your face stuffed in your pillow. "What the fuck is up with you today?" He asks. He is pissed and when he's upset it's not good. You sit up straight right away.

"It's just a lot." You say but you feel a sting to your cheek as he had just slapped you.

"Did you just-"

"Yeah, I did. Since Erwin is higher ranked and talks to the commander, he told me that the commander is thinking about dropping you as a scout. Get. Your. Shit. Together." He says, sitting down on your chair, crossing his arms.

Realization hits you as you have forgotten everything about the risk of your job. "I'm sorry." You say.

"Don't apologize, there's no need. I just don't want to see you get you dropped out of here for stupid drama." He says.

You nod. He's right. If Hange didn't want to talk to you, and even if it hurt to not see them you didn't care.

You were also sure you situated the Petra situation and you were sure Petra wouldn't mess with you and learned her lesson. You knew Petra was nice and didn't mean wrong but she drew the line.

"Thanks Levi, I needed that."

He then left, leaving you with your thoughts. From that day you decided that the commander was right. Relationships just made problems, and instead you were going to block out your feelings for Hange and focus on being a scout.
