This is how Akina looks when she pops out of a tree. Its almost like Zetsu except she can't camouflage.

Akina shifted slightly in her seat. Naruto beside her was poking the dango pieces. He had never eaten one before.

Jiraiya regained himself.

"And why should I help you? You might be my team mates cousin but that doesn't change anything."

"For Naruto's sake?" Akina tried weakly.

Jiraiya wasn't amused. He stared her down.

Akina sighed. "I'll help you with your research."

Jiraiya leaned back on his seat.

"I don't need help. Naruto is here."

Akina frowned.

Naruto finally took a bite of the dango in front of him. He gagged.

"It's too sweet dattebayo."

"Jiraiya sama. You have been shooting me horrible looks throughout the time we've met. Have I done something wrong?"

"No."

"Then what do you want?" Akina asked as she regained a poker face.

"Too leave me alone so that I can train Naruto."

A look of hurt flashed in Akina's face and she hid it away. She slightly bowed, her bangs covering her face.

"Sorry for disturbing your time." She got up to head out.

Jiraiya felt bad. But he couldn't afford to take any risks. Especially since she could be-

"Akina chan where are you going dattebayo?"

"To train silly. Where else?" Akina shot him a small smile.

"Oh um okay." His team mate left.

Naruto turned to Jiraiya an angry look on his face.

"What was that? I've never seen Akina chan that sad ever since Sasuke teme rejected her. And yeah she told me because I'm her best friend."

Jiraiya felt guilt creeping up on him. Akina reentered the dango shop smiling brightly.

"Jiraiya sama just one thing please?"

"What?"

"What are the signs for a summoning jutsu?"

"Its boar, dog, bird, monkey, ram. Then you slam your palm on the ground with a little of your blood." Jiraiya said but he realized his mistake too late.

Akina bit her thumb and did the hand signs. Jiraiya got up to stop her. 

"Its your fault Jiraiya sama if I die." Akina said smiling and with a poof she disappeared into the summoning world.

Jiraiya sat back down extremely worried and yet proud. He was amused at how she used him but he had some faith. If this was Kana's kid, she'd make it out alive.

Akina POV

I fell down from the air screaming as my hair came undone from its loose braid.

"No! I can't fall to my death!! Okaa san otou san!" I screamed terrified for my life.

I had a terrible fear of heights and insects. This was not going to end well.

I thrashed in the air and looked at the ground approaching me rapidly. I closed my eyes.

This is the end. How pathetic.

Suddenly I fell on a soft surface and I opened my eyes, wiping my tears which had made their way to my cheek. 

I was sitting on a giant bird. Holy fuck.

"Hey yosei stop wailing already. Its hurting my ears. Also could you loosen up your hold on my feathers? Its really hard to comb them."  

"I-I what the fuc- AAGHHHH!!" I shrieked as the bird nosedived towards the ground with me holding onto it for my life. I felt tears come out of my eyes.

Finally the bird stopped. I curled up into a ball, trying to calm myself down.

"Yosei, don't tell me you are scared of heights?"

"Did the screaming not give you a hint?!" I shrieked.

The bird looked offended. "Hey you owe me a thank you for saving your life."

I wobbled down from the bird. "Fuck you. I would've died with a heart attack anyways."

He glared at me. "I don't know why I rescued you. Pa has finally gone senile yet people listen to him anyways."

"Pa?"

"How dare you insult your grandfather Kisho!" Another giant bird came flying from the sky and landed in front of me.

My summons are birds?

"Hello little one. Please excuse Kisho. He hasn't learnt any matters yet." The female bird spoke and raising her wing she hit Kisho who groaned.

"Mother you know how long it takes for me to comb and arrange feathers! How will the girls like me?"

"I am Nozomi. This place is Mt. Tori." The female spoke and I turned around taking the scenery in.

I gasped. "Its beautiful." The place was full of trees which had fruits of all kind on them. The vegetation was thriving here and I felt happy. There were birds of all varieties flying around. I even saw a bat hanging upside down.

"Did that bat just wink at me?" I asked speechless.

"You have eyes don't you? Of course he did." Kisho said, rolling his eyes.

I growled. "You wanna go, punk?"

"I could crush you in a second."

"Imma whoop your ass so bad you won't have anything to mate the girls with."

"Did you just threaten my manhood?!"

"You have ears don't you? Of course I did."

"Enough! We must go to the Elder. Little one, please hop on my back."

I gulped. "I'd rather walk."

Nozomi gave me a warm smile. "I'll fly at a lower altitude. We will reach him faster that way."

"Um.. okay I guess." I fidgeted as I climbed on her back and held onto her with chakra.

Nozomi kept her deal. She flew slowly and at a low altitude. I wasn't comfortable with flying but I'll have to get used to it.

"I am Akina Senju."

"Wrong."

I blinked at her. 

"You are Akina Uchiha. Every single Uchiha whether good or bad has an option to choose between cats and birds as summons. Most of them get cats because of their personality. Very few ones get birds."

"Why would you go for a cat when you can fly?" Kisho complained.

"Why did I get a bird as a summon? Not that I'm complaining."

"Birds are very proud creatures and are very selective. They see the goodness inside the Uchiha. The cats see power."

"Oh. Who else had you as a summon?"

"Izuna Uchiha was one. Then there was Kagami Uchiha and Shisui Uchiha among a few."

"What about Daichi Uchiha?"

"He was claimed by the cats instead."

"I see. What about Sasuke Uchiha?"

"Sasuke Uchiha is... a special case. It depends on which path he will take."

"What about Itachi Uchiha? He uses crows."

"He has a summon with crows, not us." Kisho spoke suddenly as he looked away. I stared at him blankly. Shikamaru and I used to meet up and go on a walk, almost daily. There we pointed out the lying flaws of anyone we'd meet and have fun. Just the two of us.

Its safe to say I know Kisho was lying.

"You expect me to believe that? I know what he did and the reason why he did it."

Nozomi smiled. "That makes things much more easier for us. You see Pa didn't know whether you knew or not. Anyways, we are here."

I climbed off Nozomi and looked around. It was a large open space with plain grass and no trees.

"Where am I?" 

"You are in the heart of Mt. Tori. Welcome." I heard a man's voice behind me. 

I turned around and stared. With how big Nozomi and Kisho were I expected him to be twice as big. Not so small.

"You are the cutest smol bean I have ever met." I blurted out.

He chuckled. "Many people have called me wise or senile. Smol bean was the first adjective I've heard in a long time. You can call me Pa."

"You are an owl." I stated blankly.

"Way to state the obvious." Kisho snorted.

I clenched my fist. "You are the most annoying creature I've ever met and I know Danzo!" 

Kisho gasped. "Take that back! Danzo is the biggest bas-"

Nozomi glared at him.

"-ket I ever met."

"Basket huh? Not the word I'd use but okay." I chuckled. He glared at me. 

Pa chuckled. "Anyways, I guess you are here to get a summoning contract?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I am."

"What were you expecting?" Nozomi asked curiously.

I shrugged. "I never really thought about it. Anything other than insects would do."

Pa looked at me. "Well there are many types of birds in Mt. Tori. You have to choose one specific species."

"What type is Nozomi?"

"A giant eagle."

"Can't I choose multiple? I need them for different uses."

Pa raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

I slightly flushed. "I need a few to attack snakes, preferably Nozomi or Kisho. Hawks could work too. Then I need some birds for information gathering and spying."

"Spying?"

"Like Itachi Uchiha."

Pa became quiet. "Crows." He murmured.

"Not exactly crows. I was thinking of robins. They are common in the wild life of Konoha so it wouldn't be a surprise really."

"You have a plan don't you?" Nozomi asked me getting comfortable on the grass.

I sighed. "The population of snakes need to be controlled before it harms Konoha."

"Orochimaru right?" Kisho asked. I nodded.

"Fine." Pa agreed looking grave.

Nozomi got up. "Pa! You can't. She's just a child!"

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What is it?"

Kisho became still which was quite impressive for him as he was continuously fidgeting.

"I don't like this human but that's a bit extreme."

 Pa sighed. "If she wants it then she's got to do it."

"Tell me. I'll do it." I said.

They looked at me gravely. "You need to go against a griffin and win."

"Griffins? I thought they didn't exist."

"There's only one alive and she won't go easy on you."

"I'll do it."

Pa sighed. "Call the others Kisho. Nozomi, inform Katsumi."

They left. Pa gave me a somber glance. "There are only two choices for you now. Defeat her and sign multiple contracts or die."

I smirked. "See you soon."

I shrieked as I jumped away from the giant griffin known as Katsumi. Her beak landed on the place where I was moments ago. Her tail spun wildly not letting me attack from the back. Ninjutsu wasn't working on her. I'd have to do with seals.

I took out three kunais with exploding tags and threw them at her. With movement from her wings she made them come right back at me. 

I used the substitution jutsu and made a mokuton bunshin to fight her as I observed.

From the corner of my eye I saw all the bird elders watching the match with interest. They were here to decide whether they'd want me as their summon or not if I survived. 

Hey.

"Yume you pop up now? I'm battling."

And I'm helping. Use their weaknesses. They are proud. Especially of their wings.

She went silent. My face lit up. I shot a look at the elders. Most of them were grooming themselves and I remembered how Kisho was complaining. 

Katsumi destroyed my bunshin and smirked arrogantly. "You wasted my time. I hate waiting."

Kami Sasori much?

She attacked me with her beaks again and I ran towards them with new found strength and determination. Jumping in the air I landed on her beak and she tried to fling me off by using her wings. I created multiple bunshins before I was flung off. 

I landed on the ground harshly. My leg and hands were bleeding.

The bunshins were annoying her, keeping her distracted.

Now to stop her from moving. I closed my eyes and used my chakra to grow the trees.

Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique

The  roots of the trees grew and distracted her as they protected the bunshins at the same time. She snarled and spread her wings destroying the tree roots and bunshins.

Well that's not good. I didn't think of her wings.

She flew high up in the air and dove down with full intent to destroy the ground. My eyes widened. 

There's no way to dodge this.

I saw Kisho and Nozomi shout at me to get out of there. They were worried.

Hell, I was worried too.

Get out!!

"And go where? I can't fl-" I stopped mid sentence.

Will it work?

No time to think. I threw my sword making it stick on the ground and ran towards it. I stood on the hilt of the sword. 

Sorry otou san for destroying your sword.

Katsumi came crashing on the ground destroying it into rubble and I bounced into action. I jumped up from the sword to give me extra leverage to reach the branch of the tree.

Why didn't I just use chakra to walk?

Well its so that Katsumi would think I'm preparing to lose, that I'm pretending to surrender. Otherwise she'd directly attack the tree. Now when she hit the ground is when she'd be distracted the most with all the dust flying.

I went inside the tree, waiting. 

"Where's the brat?" I heard Katsumi grunt.

"Akina!" I heard Nozomi call out for me.

"Yosei!" Kisho shouted.

Now.

I traveled to the roots of the tree and created a bunshin while Katsumi looked in the opposite direction. My bunshin gave me a wink and henged herself to make it look as if she was dead. She fainted.

"She's there!"

 Nozomi and Kisho rushed towards me gently picking up my 'limp' body.

"Katsumi.. you killed another one." Pa said gravely. The other elders shook their heads as if expecting this.

"This brat was actually good. I knew she was aiming for my feathers and had to avoid that though. I had fun."

Pa sighed. "The toads will mock us again for killing another. I can't survive anymore embarrassment."

Katsumi snorted. "She should've been happy with one then. Greedy humans."

"The only Uchiha left now is Sasuke. Should we approach him?" Nozomi asked softly.

"We'll see."

Katsumi was now directly below the tree I was hiding in.

"How should we-"

"Send her body back to Konoha." Pa intervened. 

"They'll take care of it."

Now!

I came half out of the tree slowly and threw my smoke bomb at her with 10 kunais. She didn't even notice until it actually hit her and she squawked indignantly. The kunais hit her and I fell down from the tree on her back.

Grabbing a kunai from my pouch I pointed it at her as I planted myself firmly on her back with chakra.

"Its over." I said as the smoke cleared. The kunai were embedded in feathers going all the way in, injuring her.

My bunshin giggled and vanished in smoke. Nozomi and Kisho stared at shock and Katsumi stared at me with mild surprise.

Pa choked. "What-"

"She wins." Katsumi firmly said. I climbed off of her and took out bandages from my pouch as I wrapped my injured arm and legs. 

Everyone stared at me in silence. I looked at them and grinned. 

"So the contract?"

I walked through the gates of Konoha a small robin perched on my shoulders. It was a cute thing and was completely blue in color.

Shinobi and civilians alike stared at my battered condition and ruined clothes. I saw Genma's senbon fall out of his mouth.

Whispers of the Senju hime being hurt spread like wildfire. 

I looked at the little girl bird next to me.

"How are you so cute Kokomi chan?"

She nibbled my ear affectionately. "You do look quite terrifying Akina san."

"Why couldn't you guys transport me to my house again?"

"You never mentioned it."

I groaned making my way to the hospital for a check up. I didn't dislike hospitals but it was irritating how every nurse fussed over you and didn't let you eat anything other than fruits and hospital food.

After a normal check up the nurse informed that it wasn't anything major. I just had a lot of cuts and bruises over my body. Mixed with dirt and blood, my wounds could become infected but as long as I cleaned it I'll survive.

"Alright I am done Kokomi chan." I said as I finished dressing my wounds and wore normal clothes.

"Fine. Now that you are safe and I have seen almost all of Konoha I will leave. But tell me what type information are you looking for." 

I bit my lip slightly. "I want a spy system all over the Great Nations."

Kokomi tittered. "That's quite big. I'll see what I can do and inform you in a couple of days."

"Yes but that's for the future so that you will be prepared. For now all I need is a spy system in Konoha. I need more birds."

She nodded. "To keep an eye?"

"Yes exactly. I want you, Kokomi chan to be in charge of this whole network. Whenever something important happens inform me please. I need you to keep an eye on all the suna shinobi especially Gaara in Konoha along with Orochimaru. If you spot the Kazekage inform me immediately. If any attacks happen in the middle of the night tell me. That's all for now."

Kokomi nodded. I pet her head and smiled softly. 

I turned my head to the closed window hearing a sound. Sasuke had knocked on it. 

I opened the window and he came in my room.

"Ready?" 

I knelt down. "Bye Kokomi chan."

The bird tweeted and flew away.

"Kokomi?"

"Yes. I found that bird injured outside of Konoha and decided to name her." 

I didn't want to inform anyone about my summons. Not yet anyways and Kokomi had graciously agreed.

He eyed my bandages. "What's with the bruises?"

"Training accidents. I was trying to perfect a new jutsu and it failed." I laughed nervously. He shook his head and smirked.

"Only you, Akina." I felt my heart flutter a bit. 

Damn you feelings.

"Well then lets go."

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked Sasuke as he dragged me to the top of the Hokage mountains. It was night time and the moon was shining brightly on us.

"To apologize."

I cocked my head. "What for?"

"For acting rude."

I raised my eyebrows. "The great Sasuke kun is apologizing to me?"

He scowled. "Kakashi sensei says I can't focus on training. He says clearing up stuff with you might make it easier."

My eyes widened in surprise. 

So Kakashi knew huh? Well its not that surprising considering Sasuke and I ignored each other and talked quite stiffly on missions.

"So you came to apologize to me because of him telling you to do so and not on your own accord? You came to clear things up because you want to train better?" 

Were you not worried about me?

He nodded. "Exactly. At least I didn't have to explain it. That made things more easier. See you on the day of the exam." He walked away from me.

"No." I said looking down.

I heard him stop walking. "What?"

"I don't accept your apology."

"Why not?" I heard his annoyed tone and slightly smiled as tears weld up in my eyes.

Is this how rejection feels like again? I can't believe I got my hopes up.

I looked up glaring at him and his eyes slightly widened.

"Why?!" I snarled at him tears rushing down.

"Why did you kiss me that day?!" I took a few steps towards him until we were face to face.

His face softened. "It was a mistake."

I gasped. 

I am a mistake... I am a mistake... He doesn't like me... pathetic... desperate...

I slapped him harshly. "Fuck you Sasuke Uchiha. I shouldn't have met you ever. I shouldn't have tried to protect you from Orochimaru. In fact, I shouldn't have tried to befriend you thinking you'd be different!  I tried changing you, I really did but you are just a selfish arrogant prick who doesn't care about anyone except yourself and its hurting me. Its hurting me so badly."

He stayed silent eyes widened and I continued.

"Fine. You do kill Itachi Uchiha. Then? What will you do huh you teme! The way you are acting is just so cruel. Only Sakura, sensei and Naruto can stand you, you annoying bucket of fuck! In this world you need bonds. With a war coming, you don't know whether you'll survive or not. Sasuke, you will die along with your team at the age of 16 unless I intervene. The Uchiha clan will forever be gone." 

Yes, I lied. I was so angry I wanted to hurt him, anger him, make him feel all the negative emotions I was feeling. I didn't care at all.

I am done with you Uchiha Sasuke.

"Hn. I die huh.. and I kill Itachi."

Was that the only thing he cares about?

"Then I guess I need to make the best of my life in these four years don't I?"

"W-what do you mean, teme?" I said as I wiped my tears away. 

"Hn. Don't sound like the dobe now."

"Teme I'm leaving. I'll destroy you on the day of the Chunin Exams. You wait."

"I just told you to stop acting like Naruto part two. As long as I kill Itachi, I am fine." I heard the tone of satisfaction in his words as I walked away.

Too bad I won't let Itachi die.

"Where are you going?"

"Hn. Why should I tell you?"

"... Now you're acting like me. Stop it."

"Urusai usuratonkachi (shut up loser)."

"I'm annoying huh?" He said and I shivered. His breath was fanning my neck. 

"Ho-"

"If you can't sense me coming, I don't know what you'll do in the exams. Especially since you are so unprepared right now."

He grabbed me and slammed me against a tree trunk, holding my wrists on either side of my head with his hands.

"Let me go bakasuke!"

He smirked. "Hn."

I glared into his now sharingan activated eyes and tried to knee him. He quickly held both my wrists with one hand, directly above my head as he stopped my attack.

"I can read everything you are going to do right now. Its futile to escape."He whispered in my ears. I slightly shivered hoping he wouldn't catch that action but he did and a smug smile came on his face.

He leaned in closer for him to stare into my glaring eyes. I struggled against him.

"I had to get rid of my feelings for you since I didn't want Itachi to take you away. He said he'd kill every bond I'd develop. But now since you've told me the future, I'm quite at peace."

"If I tell you the future, it will change. Your future has been ruined now." I tried moving my wrists but it was almost impossible to do so.

"No. Because you will be there to perfect its flaw, its steady rhythm saving lives of those who would've been lost because that's just you."

He's right. I need to get out of here.

I struggled even more, using my whole body to squirm out of his hold. He glared at me and pressed his heavy body against mine, not letting me move.

I squeaked. 

This shit only happens in Icha Icha. We are 13 for fuck's sake!!!

"If I can't restore my clan after I'm 25 or so, I need an early start hm." His eyes were shining with mischievousness. He was teasing me.

My eyes opened in horror. "HELP ITS FUCKING RAPE! GET OFF-"

Sasuke shut me up. By placing his lips on mine kissing me softly. But I didn't kiss back, still angry at him.

Well that took a lot of restraint.

He stopped and smirked as he leaned back to give me some space.

"Angry huh? Well then I'll just have to make sure you soften up to me."

He gave me a small peck on my lips, my eyes widening. He released me and walked a few steps backwards. I held on the tree for support looking at him. He was smirking.

Slightly ashamed I looked down, feeling a blush on my face.

"You're cute when you blush."

I gasped and looked up at him but he was gone through the trees. 

I fell on my knees, my new dress getting dirty, glaring at the soil.

"Damn you, Sasuke Uchiha."

*giggles* Hello guys!

How was this chapter? *wink wink*

I feel like I got Sasuke's character there for a sec before I ruined it with the romance.

Would he really tease Akina? I don't know but it was fun.

YES THE SHIP IS BACK ON BABY! The ship was damaged badly. It needed a lot of repair work and a few of our passengers went to the Itachi boat already even though he hasn't made an appearance yet.

Weird right?
