Addi

-Addi- 

I woke up in a hospital room. Oh did I pass out again? Shit. I'm always doing that, but I don't usally go to the hospital, normally I just pass out then wake up not long after. I looked around the room and saw Grace sleeping in a chair beside my bed. Of course Grace was here and not my own damn mother. She doesn't even care that her only child passed out and is in the hospital. Whatever, it's not really a surprise. "Grace." I cried out. She jumped and jolted awake. 

"I'm up." She practically shouted. I couldn't help but laugh and my friend. She scooted her chair closer to the bed. "How ya doin kiddo?" She rubbed my shoulder gentaly in a friendly manner. I shurged. 

"I'm alright. A bit hungry. What happened? The last thing I remember was....." I trailed off, trying to think of the last thing I remember. And then just like my heart broke when I saw it, my heart broke now. The last thing I remember seeing was Candy and Luke kissing. 

"What's the last thing you remember Adds?" Grace asked rubbing my shoulder still. 

"The last thing I remeber was Luke kissing Candy....." I mumbled softly. She let out a sigh and a soft "Oh" She shuffled in her seat a bit. 

"Addi I talked to Luke and it's not exatcly what you think. Let's get you some food and I tell you what really happened." She called for a nurse and ordered my favorite food, tomatoe soup and grilled cheese. Yum. I haven't eaten in over three days, I was starving. Our food came shortly, on a plastic red tray and was placed on my lap. 

"How are you feeling?" A nurse asked me. 

"I'll be better after I eat." I giggled. The ana side of my brain was screaming 'no don't eat' but I knew better, I know if I don't eat, I won't get better and then they'll never let me out. But I personally don't think hospial life is all that bad. Well if you're not dying of course. I broke my leg a few years ago, because I fell out of a tree, and I liked staying at the hospital. They had good food, the people were all nice and I got to watch moveis and tv all day. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't let me smoke. But other then that it was fine. 

"Okay so I know you saw Candy and Luke kissing but it's not what really happened." Grace started off. She told me the whole story of how we were bothing running around looking for each other. And how Candy showed her tongue down Luke's throat and he couldn't do anything about it. I felt a wave of relief wash over me. 

"Oh I should probably call him." I mumbled. I felt really bad, I had been ignoring Luke all week and then while we were both looking for each other he gets kissed by a whore and I pass out. I really need to talk to him. 

"No, he's really busy with preparing for battle of the bands. He told me that he promised to talk to you after the show on Friday. He wants you to be there." Grace sputtered out. I was a bit confused. I don't see why see won't let me just text him or even call him but whatever. 

"Okay" 

A nurse came in a few minutes later. She did her nurse stuff, checking my charts in my folder and everything. I'm not really sure what she's doing. 

"So we're going to keep you here until Friday, to make sure you get the proper nutrition in your system, okay hun?" She smiled softly to me. I nodded. I don't really mind spending the rest of the week here. If I can't talk to Luke, then I guess it'd be better to just stay here. Grace's phone lit up, right as I let out a yawn. 

"I need to go, my mom needs me home." Grace stood up. She wrapped her arms around me and gathered her stuff and waved good bye. I didn't mind she was gone. I just snuggled into the covers of my bed and turned on the tv. I flipped through the channels until I saw old AHS episodes were on. My day at the hospital just got better. Because eveything's better with American Horror Story. I watched tv for a while before I fell back to sleep.
