For some reason, he never had a roommate.

Malik did suspect it had something to do with his father and grams, after all she did have a friend at the Boarding School. Ever since that small incident... he barely had contact with his family. His twin sister Bonnie did check up on him, but due to the promise between him and Grams, he could not be honest with her.

And it seemed that got between them.

However, something shifted slightly after a while, as one day while he was in his room reading a book on his bed, the door opened without knocking or previous warning and a young boy walked in.

For a moment the newcomer seemed shocked and surprised, that was until Malik closed the book and slowly got up from his bed.

"Hi there, I'm Malik Bennett, just call me Mal."

The boy shook himself and a smile appeared on his face.

"Hey, I'm Eric Lowell" responded the boy politely and as they shook hands suddenly Mal had a sensation run through him: pain, sadness and loneliness.

He did not let these to show on his face, he had them so many times he could easily control his facial expressions when he needed to. He smiled and looking at the boy continued.

"It's odd for anyone to join so close to mid-term. Unless you're here for the probationary art course?"

"Yes, I applied for the extension so if I do well I might get a permanent place" came the bashful answer which made Mal smile wider and nodding gently took one of his large suitcases and putting it down on the bed allowed Eric to begin unpacking.

"Since we are going to be roommates for a while, tell me... what is it that got you into this line of expression?"

"I went through a lot" answered Eric honestly. "And I was looking for ways to let it all out and when I got into art... I felt liberated."

Mal just smiled and sitting on the bed turned to the other boy and tilting his head spoke quietly.

"I know what you mean... I suppose we are in the same boat... I had some sudden change as well which I'm still adjusting to."

Eric seemed to soften up to him a little which made the atmosphere change for the better. The two of them began talking about more generic subjects but the level of comfort in there was refreshing for both of them. Mal managed to unpack everything and as he packed the last thing away he looked at Eric who sat on the edge of his bed slightly ecstatic which made Mal smile and spoke gently.

"Want to join me to look around a bit?"

"Yes!" Eric's tone was first super excited but then he cleared his throat and repeated himself in a bored non- caring way:" I mean... Yeah sure"

Mal just smiled but rolled his eyes and walking out of there had Eric walk right behind him till he fully caught up and walking next to him the two boys walked around, checked all the rooms they were supposed to visit, watched as the painters, musicians and theatrical students were practicing and working hard.

Both boys were amazed by what they saw, moving along they saw more and more fascinating things until they got outside and walking in the warm sun they both enjoyed it.

For the first time Mal seemed to relax fully, he enjoyed the warmth of the sun, felt nature around him, but with that came a sensation that was new but somehow familiar. It was very similar to what he felt before when he touched Eric, but not as intense, yet there was a dark sensation behind it which made him curious.

The two of them got comfortable outside, it seemed to relax both of them, allowing Malik to turn his senses towards the boy next to him.

Without being suspicious, he readjusted himself, allowing their shoulders to brush against each other.

As Mal hoped, he suddenly had his mind overload with images, but among all of those he managed to narrow some of them down.

The forest.

A cave.

And the moon.

It seemed his roommate was a werewolf.

The two boys stayed together all day, but it was later on when Mal noticed something weird.

As they were in their room both of them reading up on classes there was a knock on their door. The warlock simply raised an eyebrow, but Eric got up and walking there opened it slightly and looking out he glanced back at Mal before he opened it more and spoke quietly.

"What do you want?"

"I've told you time is ticking. If we don't get an answer before..."

"Fine, you'll have your answer" interrupted Eric in a panicked tone but didn't want to glance at the boy in the room. "Just leave"

"Careful Eric... you know what happens if you go up against us."

As he closed the door and turned around he was trying to come up with an explanation, but Malik spoke up without glancing up from his book.

"Club hunting?"

"Yeah... yeah exactly" nodded the boy quickly and seemed relieved which amused Malik to no end.

"Just go with your gut" commented Mal and turned a page in his book. "If you're reluctant that is an indicator that something isn't right. You might regret it later."

Eric stayed quiet for a second and kept looking at the boy, studied his face for a second before he walked to his own bed and sitting down kept his eyes on Malik. He was contemplating for a while but then decided to speak up.

"It sounds to me you're speaking from experience... what happened?"

Mal lowered the book and looked ahead before turning to the boy he just smiled and answered in a gentle tone.

"It's difficult to explain, perhaps for another time. But let's just say someone got hurt because I listened to others instead of trusting my feelings."

Eric didn't answer just watchedthe boy, taking in his features and gestures. On the outside it seemed likenothing, like he was calm and collected but his eyes held so much emotion thatmade Eric wonder... what could have happened.

"I'm telling you Mal, you have talent to paint, why don't you explore it a bit more?" pushed Eric with a big smile going after the stubborn Bennett who just rolled his eyes and continued to put the books back into their places in the library.

"Just because we have a talent for something doesn't mean we have to like doing it."

"Just do one! For me"

Malik stopped and turning towards the boy he was playing the sweet, innocent puppy card making him groan and turn away.

"Fine! Just one. But that is it you will stop pestering me about it."

Eric gave him a big grin and just nodded, but as he looked past Malik his smile faded, which made the warlock turn around and there he was.

"I see Jake hasn't given up on you joining their club has he?"

"No" sighed Eric. "I don't want to be in some aggressive club I'm happy in my art classes."

"Know what you mean..."

Jake on the other hand had a big smirk on his face and looking at his phone seemed to send a text message to Eric. As it pinged both boys looked at it and Eric's eyes widened.

T I M E ' Sย  U P

As they looked up Jake was no longer there, both of them looked around quickly to see where he could have disappeared to but it seemed useless. He was nowhere to be found.

They looked around, in the meantime Eric put his phone away and after clearing his throat he put on a smile and tapping Malik's shoulders spoke.

"I gotta go now, but I will see you later in the dorm?"

"Sure... you good?"

"Yeah, I just forgot something. Have to talk to professor Harper about the assignment, I don't want to miss out on points."

"You do tend to get carried away" chuckled Malik and putting his hands into his pockets smiled at the shorter boy. "Alright man, I'll see you later then."

"Yep"

Eric watched Malik walk away, only when the boy turned around the corner and disappeared did Eric move. He began to run, following Jake's scent. He was adamant on finding the older boy, before he actually decided to get Malik involved.

He finally had a connection with someone, he wasn't going to let it get ruined.

He suddenly halted and stopping in the park looked around. There were other students just enjoying their walks or even rushing to their afternoon classes. Everything seemed peaceful at first glance, but Eric's werewolf senses were in an overdrive.

He didn't even notice how his eyes turned gold.

He was looking around rapidly until he noticed Malik walking and being followed by someone. Eric was quick to move, hoping that neither the other wolf or Malik would notice him.

He followed them for a while and the first moment he had his chance... he pounced on the wolf, knocking him out. Looking around he looked pleased with himself until he realised there was an unconscious body on the road.

Dragging the other werewolf into the woods he dropped him and cleaning himself off stood up and sniffed into the air, looking for Malik, but in that moment he sensed something really bad.

"It's good to see you haven't abandoned your wolf nature."

Eric spun around and noticed Jake standing there casually learning against a tree and a smirk on his face.

"Jake..."

"I already told you. Time's up" interrupted the older werewolf. "And it seems you're quite keen on this little mortal. So much so that you're tapping into your true self. I wonder... what would happen if we actually killed him?"

His temper got the better of him.

Without thinking Eric launched forward, but before he could have reached Jake he was tackled by others and pushed into a tree. Getting up slowly he looked around and there were a few others with Jake.

"Did you really think I would come here by myself? I need witnesses for this event. Finally, I'm going to rid our pack from the disgrace you brought!"

"I won't let you lay a finger on him..."

"Prove it" challenged Jake and took a step forward. "Our good friend Chris here... is going to go after your little mortal friend in exactly 10 minutes. But if you want to stop him... you have to stop us."

"You are not supposed to involve others" warned Eric, hoping to change his mind.

"Collateral damage" shrugged Jake nonchalantly. "Your dad agreed you have to change for the better. Or did you think he let you here to actually learn art and pretend to be human?"

"You must be out of your mind" retorted Eric not believing what he was hearing.

"Well then..." spoke Jake with fake sadness in his tone. "I'm afraid you give me no choice... I'll have to tell the chief his son betrayed us and went against the pack, attacked us and we had to put him down... yeah that sounds good. Come on guys"

Eric's eyes once again turned yellow and launched towards the other wolves, letting his instincts run wild. Every time he felt a punch or a kick, he responded with the same, pushing his body to its utmost limits. Fighting all of those werewolves the only thing on his mind was to get through them, so he can stop Chris.

His nose was bleeding, his cheekbones were hurting, his limbs were becoming numb.

He could barely keep himself off the ground, staring at the leaves and the grass he was breathing hard, the pain creeping in slowly but surely. Not even his werewolf healing could stop it all.

"What a shame" came the voice of Jake again. "I have to admit, it wasn't half bad... but not enough."

Suddenly an alarm went off, Eric looked panicked and staring at Jake saw how he looked at his phone and with a fake pout spoke up.

"I'm afraid it's now really... time's up. Well, Chris..."

"Don't you dare..." shouted Eric and mustering all his strength launched forward but he got knocked down quickly by two other wolves.

"Hey guys I think that's enough" came the voice of Malik from behind them.

Hearing that Eric's blood froze, but he was unable to move with the werewolves holding him down firmly to the ground.

"Malik, stay out of this" grunted Eric but the boy walked closer.

"I think you all need to calm down and just... move along. Okay?"

"So mundane" commented Jake and with a smirk looked at the other werewolves.

Malik moved and tried to gently push the boys from Eric to help him get up, but instead he got a punch in the cheek, making him stumble back.

"Mal!" shouted Eric desperately.

Forcing his way up he got pushed down again, but what happened next... shook him and everyone around him.

Malik stopped holding onto a tree, wiping his nose saw the blood on his fingers. Looking up seeing their smug faces it seemed he was contemplating on something, but in a moment he let out a sigh and his demeanour changed completely cold and dangerous.

"Alright, screw this. Y'all going down now. No one lays a hand on him."

Eric was about to shout to stop him, but the lightning thundering above them muted everyone. In a moment all of the werewolves stopped and fell onto the ground holding their heads, screaming out in pain.

Slowly looking up Eric saw Malik with his hands raised and mouthing something. His eyes widened but turning around saw how most of the werewolves fainted after a while until only Jake remained holding onto his head. It was only then when Malik stopped his spell.

"Yeah... next time you might want to think about who you are trying to attack wolf boy" commented Malik with a polite smile. "Attacking a warlock is not very smart. So may I suggest that this stops here and now because if you try anything again... the next time will be the last one."

Jake was fuming but seeing the power the warlock just displayed proved to him that it wasn't worth trying again... the Alpha would kill him if he tried to attack a warlock again and invoke his wrath on their whole pack.

Seeing his face Malik just smiled and nodded, walking to Eric crouched down and holding his hand out helped him up. Once Eric was up Malik kept holding his hand and turning around walked again pulling the boy with him.

Their walk back to the dorm was quiet. Malik glanced towards Eric, it seemed the werewolf was deep in thoughts, more than likely he had tons of questions.

It wasn't until they arrived back into their room and once the door closed Malik let go of Eric's hand and sitting on his bed looked at him with a smile and leaning back slightly on his hand started off the conversation.

"You must have a million questions for me. Go on"

"Did you know I was a werewolf?"

"I had my suspicion" responded Malik calmly. "The first time we met I had a vision and I pieced all the information together but since you were trying to keep it a secret I tried not to be pushy."

There was silence between them. Not awkward or weird, it felt comfortable. Eric was contemplating his choices, his walls were breaking as he kept eye contact with the warlock, feeling all of their previous closeness began to tare it all down. His experiences told him to stay closed up, reject the boy in front of him, but those eyes... staring into it Eric felt safe.

"I'm the son of a local alpha" admitted the boy. "I never wanted to trigger my curse but we are forced to do it at a young age and my dad only let me come to this place because of Jake... he is the leader of the campus wolves but reports back to my dad"

"Will you be alright?" asked Malik slightly worried since he did attack those wolves, getting up walked to him but stopped a step away from him.

"Yeah, I can just say to my dad that I found a warlock ally. He would love that. My father understands power. And if he hears of yours..."

Malik grinned and he visibly relaxed hearing those words from Eric's mouth.

"Well then, that should bring us peace with them and we can actually focus on just enjoying ourselves."

Eric nodded in agreement; he stayed quiet for a while but stepping away walked to his bed, looking around he completely avoided eye contact with Malik.

"Could we go out for food?" asked Eric slightly nervous.

Malik slowly turned to him and saw the boy fiddling with his sleeves keeping his gaze on the books on the wall instead of looking at him.

The warlock slowly walked to Eric and stopped in front of him, gently placing his hand on his cheeks got the werewolf to look at him. He whispered a chant gently, speeding up the healing. Once the boy was fully healed Malik grinned and spoke gently.

"Let's go"

Letting go of his face Malik opened the door and walked out of there. Eric rushed after him after a moment and the two of them walked together close to each other.

Arriving to their local place they managed to find a table, sitting down got the menu out and soon enough someone came to take their order.

"What can I get you guys?"

"Can I just get some chilli fries and onion rings with a coke?" asked Malik immediately then turned to Eric and looking at the boy rested his chin on his hands.

"I erm... can... can I..." Eric cleared his throat and looking up spoke quickly. "Just a chicken burger with fries and a water please. Thank you."

"Coming right up."

Malik grinned, looking at the werewolf, while Eric averted his eyes, not wanting to look the warlock in the eye. The Bennett boy just watched the werewolf trying to find a comfortable spot on the chair, but as he moved around he reached forward and grabbing his wrist spoke gently.

"Eric..."

The werewolf looked at him and in that instant everything stopped around them. Looking into each other's eyes the warlock spoke gently.

"As adorable as you are while you're nervous... you don't have to be around me."

"I... I know that. But after everything it's just..."

"New, I know" responded Malik carefully. "But nothing changed as to who we are to each other, in fact... I think we have become...."

"Closer?" asked Eric suddenly.

"Yes! We were close before but this... I mean..."

Eric was surprised. Up until that moment Malik seemed like he was in control of himself, confident and strong but for the first time he saw him stumble and... blush.

Seeing Malik blush got Eric's heart pound harder than ever before. Luckily to Malik their drinks got delivered, allowing him to focus on that more than his feelings being uncontrollable.

This time it was Malik who avoided eye contact. He felt vulnerable and it was weird... he liked it but also didn't want to show it.

Unfortunately he achieved the opposite.

Eric revelled in the turn of tables event he saw in front of him, let it happen until their food finally arrived. That was the moment when he watched Malik reach for salt and pepper when he made his move. Leaning closer grabbed his hand and looking him in the eye the two of them finally relaxed.

"Me and you, Mal"

"Me and you" repeated Malik with a smile and once Eric let go of his hand the warlock began eating his food.

He was happily munching on his food while the two boys began exchanging stories about how they grew up.

"So your Grams waited to reveal the truth until you accidentally awakened your magic?"

"To be fair she said it multiple times but she was drunk... I just didn't believe this could be real. I mean I love the fact I have this power..."

"I bet" smiled Eric. "Who wouldn't want to be a warlock. I mean I'd rather..."

Eric suddenly quieted, but Malik knew exactly what he was talking about. He heard that the transformation was painful for Eric, he chained himself up when he was alone, he was scared he would hurt others.

"I know it's not exactly a breeze for you... but have you thought about... I dunno... embracing the wolf part of you?"

"I don't like the killing and..."

"Not the killing. The wolf."

Eric gave him a confusing look, to which Malik just put his fries down and after a quick look around he leaned closer and spoke gently in a quiet tone.

"Wolves in nature are predators, that's true. But not killers. They only kill when they're hungry or rabid... what if during the transformation you would try and let it in... maybe in that case you could remain in control?"

"It's a lot of pain..."

"That is something I could probably help a little" smiled Malik. "I could try a spell to numb the pain, so you can focus on the transformation and not the pain..."

"I could kill you..."

The warlock just raised an eyebrow giving him a 'Try me' look but instead of saying anything Malik leaned back and grabbing his basket of fries continued his eating.

"It's an offer, whether you take it or not is your decision. But anyway, let's talk about something else, happier things."

"Yeah... I like this."

"What?" asked Malik intrigued.

"This... us.. like this. It feels like... I dunno it feels like..."

"It feels like a date?" offered Malik which made Eric turn red immediately, but a small smile remained on his lips, allowing the warlock to just take it in and smile.

Once they finished their dinner the two of them walked back to the dorm, close to each other, their shoulders brushing against the other every now and then. That was until Eric suddenly stopped, and grabbing Malik's hands, stopped the taller boy.

The warlock turned to him with an intrigued look on his face, but seeing his nervous look Malik blushed and could barely take his eyes off of him.

It all felt surreal but also magical. Eric slowly got closer to him and looking up there was barely any space between them, feeling his hot breath on him. Malik remained still but the moment he felt Eric's soft lips on his own his eyes closed and without even thinking returned the kiss.

His mind turned blank, the only thing remained was the two of them and how right it all felt to him. Gently placing his hands around Eric's waist, pulling him closer, deepening their kiss, embracing all of his desires.

They only separated once the need of oxygen became unavoidable, but they kept eye contact, holding onto the other one, the boys leaned towards the other once more, resting their foreheads together and a smile appeared on their faces.

"Me and you?" asked Malik out of breath, and while Eric was breathing heavily.

"Me and you."

They went to the local bar to hang out and grab some food while they also played some games.

It seemed especially of late Bonnie was even less responsive than before, haven't heard from Jeremy in ages and the others... even Caroline stopped talking to him altogether. He always assumed being away would have this affect, but now it seemed even Grams wasn't talking to him. And she was the only one he had any real connections left. Even when he sent them messages, he didn't get a response, when he tried to call his dad or Grams they never talked about what the others were at.

He stood in the bar next to the pool table looking at the messages he sent to Bonnie, when Eric walked to him and looking at the messages just let out a sigh and looked at Malik.

"Still no response?"

"No..."

"I'm sure everything will be fine" reassured the werewolf and rubbed Malik's arm gently. "You can't be everywhere, but if they're anything like you? They will be just fine."

"Your flirting won't always get you everywhere" smiled Malik and put away his phone.

"I'm intrigued to see that day" came the cheeky answer and after a peck on the lips Eric walked back to the pool table and continued the game but this time around Malik joined him as well with a big smile.

The game went on, they were munching on their food and it seemed things finally were in place. Malik felt happy, looking at Eric his heart fluttered and a warm feeling spread through him, he knew what that meant but he also didn't want to ruin it.

It has been two weeks since they've known each other and dated one week, both of them being supernatural was a bonus but he still didn't want to rush anywhere.

"Come on Mal, you might want to focus or you'll be whopped again"

"Is that so?" asked Malik smiling at him.

"Unless you're ready to give up?"

"Just watch it, I'll wipe the floor with you aga..." he was interrupted as his phone began to ring.

He was confused and it just increased when he pulled it out and looked at who was calling him.

It was Bonnie.

Looking at it Eric was just as confused and Malik got slightly serious, making Eric walk closer and spoke gently.

"Go, see what happened. It seems serious."

"I'll be back in a second" promised Malik and walked outside, picking up the phone he thought it would be nice to start on a light tone.

"Hey stranger, still alive?"

"Mal..." hearing Bonnie's voice break he turned serious and getting outside stopped.

"What's wrong Bonnie?"

She was crying on the other end which made him more and more worried, then suddenly he heard the ambulance in the background.

"Bonnie you're scaring me, what happened?!"

"It's Grams... we did a rough spell and.. she... she... died."

Malik's heartrate quickened; his head began to pound.

The sadness, grief and anger that washed over him was overwhelming. He could barely focus on what Bonnie was saying, he dropped his phone that crashed on the ground.

The lights flickered all around him and the wind began to pick up, getting stronger by the second, some of the streetlights blew out as well. People were frantic, screaming out a hurricane arriving, people around him began to run back home to safety.

Soon enough Eric rushed out of the bar seeing as the same happened inside and noticing Malik his eyes widened and rushing closer spoke gently.

"Malik, please calm down... tell me what happened?"

But the warlock did not respond.

Instead, his eyes turned blank and suddenly Eric got pushed away, falling into a pole then on the ground, the sky darkened and suddenly a storm appeared above them. Eric was in pain but feeling the powerful wind looked up and seeing the lightning storm appear he began to really worry.

Eric tried to get closer to Malik, but the force released from him was powerful, kept pushing him back, the moment the warlock fell on his knees crying, rain started pouring and the lightnings became more frequent.

"Malik!" shouted Eric but he got pushed back again into a wall, groaning as he fell on the floor.

The warlock heard the noise and turning to Eric noticed the boy on the ground unconscious, making him panic and getting up rushed to him, holding him up noticed he had a wound on his head , bleeding slightly.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry..." apologised the warlock frantically, raising his hand over the wound he tried to concentrate but his magic was erratic.

Walls began to crack and trees twisted out, the hurricane alarm went off in the town making him spiral even more, his magic lashing out damaging cars around them. His nose began to bleed, his eyes hurt, his head pounded uncontrollably until he felt a gentle touch on his cheek.

Looking down he saw Eric smile at him gently and began to caress his cheek.

"It's okay Mal... everything will be alright. Just calm down. Me and you, remember? Me and you."

The Bennett boy still had tears in his eyes but everything around them began to calm down slowly, the storm went away and his magic calmed down. Holding Eric closer he began sobbing loudly, hugging the boy closer Eric felt his wound heal and disappear, but the warlock's loud and painful cries were so strong he could feel it all.

Malik seemed inconsolable, once they got back to their room Malik just climbed into his bed and turning away looked outside the window but did not close his eyes. Eric sat on the side of his bed and tried to comfort him, but it seemed nothing was working. He felt sad, he couldn't comfort him and he felt shut out by the warlock.

The next morning when Eric woke up Malik was packing his stuff, which got him worried, jumping out of the bed rushed to him and grabbing him exclaimed,

"Where are you going?"

"My dad is picking me up" responded the boy gently. "I have to be there for the funeral and then dad wants me to stay with his side of the family for the rest of the time.

"But..." whispered Eric with a broken voice. "What about us?"

Malik stayed quiet and putting his clothes down walked to him and grabbing his hands looked him in the eye.

"I almost killed you last night... my magic is unstable and you... I care for you too much to lose you."

Hearing that Eric launched forward and kissed him passionately.

Malik returned the kiss and holding him tight they didn't want to separate, but once they did the warlock spoke gently.

"I will always love you, Eric... but it's best if I stay out of your life. You don't need all that drama that comes by being with me... I refuse to let that happen. Perhaps one day... we meet again."

"Until then..." whispered the werewolf with tears in his eyes but a smile on his face and took off his bracelet, that had a small wolf pendant on it. "I want you to have this. I want you to remember every time you look at this that I love you too, I will always love you. And you're not alone."

Both of them had tears in their eyes, but with a loving expression in their eyes looked at each other And as Eric collapsed the bracelet on Malik's hand the boy leaned forward and touched their foreheads Malik whispered.

"You'll be strong Eric Lowell, stronger than all of them. Strong enough to overcome anything and be the person you want to be. We will see each other again."

Kissing him once more Eric closed his eyes but when he opened it again the room was empty, everything that belonged to Malik was gone, apart from one picture of the two of them. He wiped his tears and looking at the picture smiled and with a determined look left the dormitory.

Malik on the other hand was quiet.

Even when seeing his dad he didn't talk, he put everything in the car and just looked outside. Rudy has never seen him so upset, so he decided against trying to initiate a conversation. Once they met with the whole family he gave a polite smile to all of them but then disappeared, not talked to anyone not even Bonnie. Even Rudy told Bonnie strictly not to tell anyone about Malik being there. The only time they saw him get out was the day of the funeral, but event hen he remained distant from the others. He didn't make a speech, he just stood there, away from the others and looking at the coffin being lowered into the grave he had tears in his eyes again, but not a single voice left his mouth.

Standing there relatives went to try and talk to him, but he brushed everyone off, even when Bonnie got there he just pushed her away and turned away not talking to her at all. Luckily to him their dad took Bonnie away with the rest of the family, so he could stand at the grave and watch it silently.

As he stood there once more his magic began to rumble within him, the sky darkened as the storm began to appear, the wind picked up slowly getting stronger by the minute, sensing this Malik looked at the bracelet and twisting the little wolf everything seemed to settle down.

With a determined look in his eyes stepped closer and raising his hands began to chant.

"Continete hoc est ut erumpant, bestiam sine copula compesce, o vires validas has manus alligant ut denuo nocere non possint. Continete hoc est ut erumpant, bestiam sine copula compesce, o vires validas has manus alligant ut denuo nocere non possint!"

As he chanted the powerful force around him began to pull back like a vortex and a beaded bracelet appeared in front of him, recognising it a relieved sigh left his lips and allowing it to wrap around his left arm smiled, his bracelet heated up and then suddenly everything became quiet.

"Thank you, Grams"whispered the boy gently looking at the bracelet before he decided to go back.
