Me and My little sister Nova we're practising the Daywalkers self devence

It was going pretty good!

''All right goodjob everybody!" Nova yelled to everyone

''Remember, put your whole body into it. Right in the fangs. Yah!'' I remined them and showed how they had to do it and they all copied

''We've got to be prepared right?'' Nova said

''Our bloodfruit is dying, and we have to find more if we're gonna survive'' Nova explained

''So back to it'' I said and they continued practising

''Why do i have to do this if i'm not even allowed to go?'' A little girl came up to me and asked

''So you can protect the town while we're away, sweetie'' I said and hugged her

Suddenly i got the vision again

It was the boy

He had these red streaks in his hair and black braceletts

I hope to meet him one day

''Nessa!'' My dad suddenly yelled and i imidiatly stood up and the vision went away

''I ask you to run your recruits through training maneuvers and i find you doing what, exactly?'' He asked confused

''A little self-reflection?'' I said nervous

''Comeone we need to talk'' He said and i followed him

''Nova your the boss now!'' I yelled to my sister

''Yes!'' She said excited

''Nessa, we dont have time for your visions'' My dad started explaining to me

''If our orchards aare dying, the Vampires may be too. They will destroy us to get that last fruit''

''Dad, how mych longer can we live in fear of people we've never even seen?'' I asked him

''Well as long as im in charge, i know what it takes to keep our people safe and if you want to lead one day you'll follow my lead.'' He explained

''Right, but why can't Nova take the lead'' I asked

''Nessa because youre the oldest. Can i count on you'' He said strict

''You can, i promise'' I answerd quickly

''I know i can'' He said proud and hugged me

''Make place for Ray!'' We suddenly heard someone yell

Ofcourse it was my bestfriend Ray himself

Me and Ray have been bestfriends since the day we we're born

He can be a little different sometimes but thats what makes him funny

''Great, Ray'' I said sarcastic

''I hear we're short of crew to pick blood fruit, i wanted to make sure you guys know that i can help. When the Vampires mess with us, their toast'' He started saying

''Courtesy of Ray'' He said to finish it and placed his hand to his forhead like he is in an army

''Ray you will follow my orders not Nessa's, understood?'' Dad said

''Absolutely, Commander Bright. Good thinking'' Ray said and akwardly patted my dads shoulder

Ray was always nervous around my dad

I think he's scared but if i ask Ray he says he's not

''You guys want to do the honors?'' My dad asked us

and we ran over to the middle of the building

''Daywalkers, our journey begins!'' Me and Ray yelled and everyone started cheering

We were walking to the orchard

My dad was infront walking with the adults and i was walking with Nova,Ray and the teens behind them

''Daywalkers, we're almost to the tunnels!'' My dad yelled from the front

''Stay strong, look alive!'' He added

We continued walking until Nova stopped us the adults continued walking

''Wait'' Nova suddenly said and made us look at the direction she was looking

There was a pale green haired man

Was that a Vampire?

''Helle, hi, im Zed!'' The man yelled and walked towards us

''I was wondering if you guys had a mechanic i could use?'' He started asking

It was defently a trap

''Stand by!'' Ray yelled and the daywalkers stood in fighting position

Me and Nova flipped to wards the Vampire and the rest ran behind us

''Easy now, Chill chill, chill!'' The Vampire yelled in fear

I kicked him hard in his chest and he fell onto the ground

''Okay, Vampire talk'' I said to him

''Vampire?'' The vampire said confused

''What? No, no. Im Zed, im a zombie'' The Vampire/Zombie explained

''How did you even get here?'' Nova asked curious

''I dont know, i dont know. I was driving and them my Z-band went crazy and then all of a sudden-'' He began explaining but Ray cut him off

''You're the guest of honor at the Daywalker barbecue''

Ray was going to throw fire at the Zombie thing

''Ray! Stand down'' I yelled at Ray and he stopped

''Commander'' Ray suddenly said

''I looked forward again and saw that my dad was walking towards us

''How do you know this... thing isnt a Vampire spy'' Ray said and looked the Zombie up and down

''Nessa, i hope you have a good reason this intruder was not immediately destroyed'' My dad asked me

''Can you make it a really good reason?'' The Zombie began to say but i shush him

''Sorry'' He quickly said

''Dad, i dont think he's a vampire'' I started explaining

''Zombie, smile'' I said to the Zombie and he started smiling a bit creepy

He didnt have any fangs

''See, no fangs'' I said to my dad

''Yeah. No fangs, no fangs. Does no fangs mean that i get a big warm welcome and i can stop smiling?'' The Zombie said relieved

''Dad, you always told us that Vampires are evil and ruthless'' I ignored the Zombie and began talking again

''But he's just green and clueless''

''Thank you, yes! Wait. Thats mean, okay..'' The Zombie said

Why is he talking so much?

''We could use another recruit'' Nova said backing me up

''What do you think?'' Nova added asking

''He looks like he has a strong back that could havest alot of fruit'' My dad said accepting him

''I will literally harvest your entire orchard if it means i wont get air-fried'' The Zombie said

He should really shut his mouth before he says something bad

''Nessa, he's your responsibility'' My dad wispeard in my ear

''Okay'' I wispeard back

''To the tunnel!'' My dad yelled and walked back to the adults

''Okay, please dont burn me'' The Zombie said scared as i pushed him to move forwards

''Wow, the way you all came for me those Vampires must really have you spooked, huh?'' The Zombie asked as we we're walking

When we arrived my dad opend the gate into the orchard

''There it is, the old orchard'' He said as he walked into it

The Daywalkers followed him as he walked over to the orchard

I shot a quick glance at Ray and saw he was unsure to go in

I nodded to him and he followed me and Nova

As we we're walking my dad suddenly yelled

''Vampires!''

We all quickly turned around and stood in our fight positions

''Move, move. We have to get to the blood fruit first!" My dad yelled as he saw that the Vampire lady started using her powers and we started running to the orchard
