The End/ Bonus Chapter

No Ones POVIt has been six months since Lucy and Natsu went to rescue Mindy from Jude.

Their plan to join Fairytail was a successful! All the members welcomed them with opened arms. And, of course, they had a huge party to commence to a new start with new people. It was tradition to do so. (Or it's just an excuse to have fun and get drunk.😂)

Now, six months later, they all have settled into there roles.

Mindy is now the head cook! She is the one helping Mirajane hand out food to the hungry guild mates. She even added her families traditional miso soup, per request of Lucy and Natsu. They really enjoyed it and felt like their new home should too.

Lucy is now Fairytail's one and only Celestial Mage! She is never alone when she is with her spirits. Lucy bought an apartment that was near the guild. It was pretty cheap, but she still needs to go on jobs constantly. But that wasn't the only reason she went on jobs so often. She had another mouth to feed.

No, it's not a baby. It's just Natsu.

Natsu refuses to leave Lucy's side, so he moved in with her. He is one of the guild's dragon slayers! His fire power was feared by most, even was given the feared name Salamander. Knowing Lucy was by his side, he didn't care that people feared him. In fact, it helped them do their jobs.  When some people found out it was him who came to capture them, they surrendered.

When they had enough money to spare, Natsu took Lucy on that promised date. She was surprised he remembered, but secretly she was overjoyed that he did.

They are dating now and Mirajane totally approves them.

Life at Fairytail was perfect. And they couldn't be more happy to call this place their home.

A/N-Okay, so. That was the end of the story, but I felt like I at least owe you guys their first date. So, this is the bonus chapter! I hope you enjoy!💕

Natsu's POVIt's been about one and a half months since we became mages at Fairytail. Me and Luce have become really close since then. We share an apartment and work together on jobs to pay off the rent. So, we never really leave each other's sides.

When we do go our separate ways, it's probably to hang out with our close guild mates. I hang out mostly with Happy and Gray. Happy is my eating buddy and Gray is my punching bag.

Lucy hangs out with all the other girls of the guild. Way more social than I wish to be. Her best friend is Levy McGarden, the wife of Gajeel Redfox. I don't know how Levy fell in love with him, but glad they are happy!

Speaking of relationships, Luce and I have not had our first date. That needs to change!

I have one problem though...

Where should I take her?——————————————————

Lucy's POVToday is such a great day! The sun is out, birds are awake and flying high in the sky.

I am currently walking to the guild. I can't wait to see my friend Levy at the guild today. I want to talk to her about how my novel, I am writing, is going. I only want her to read it. Natsu has been trying to get a peak at it lately, but I Lucy Kick him away.

Natsu has been quiet lately, like he has had something on his mind. Sometimes I find him sitting on our couch, staring off into space.

I wonder what he is thinking about? (Wink wonk😂)

Anyway, I am now inside the guild house. I look around to see if I can find Levy.

I spot her near the bar... talking to Natsu? What is he doing talking to Levy? I don't think I have ever see them converse before.

I walk over to where they were, casually as to not show my confusion, and say, "Hey, guys! What wonderful weather we are having, right?"

What kind of question is that Lucy!? Ugh, I can be stupid sometimes. I mentally face-palmed.

"Oh, uh. Hey, Luce! I think it is really nice outside! Since it's so nice, I think I am going to go... for.. A Walk! Yes, a walk. Bye!" Natsu nervously responds.

Natsu glares at Levy, like he is talking telepathically to her, before exiting the guild.

I turn to Levy, "So... uh. What were you guys talking about? Natsu seemed panicked when I came over here." She seemed a little weird as well.

"Um, well. You see. Natsu had a question about something, and I kindly answered for him! That's all," she smiles towards me.

Okay, something is up with them. I won't pry, but I have a feeling it had to do with me.

So I let the topic go and started to talk to Levy about my book.

Levy's POV Omg! Natsu and Lucy are so cute! I mentally squeal as Natsu left Lucy and me.

Natsu came to me to ask about where he should take Lucy to on their first date. I was so honored that he asked me! I obviously already knew the answer right away.

"Take her star-gazing! She loves stars! And, I would set up a romantic picnic to go along with that. She loves strawberries and chocolate. And- oop! She's coming! Act cool!"

That is what I told him.

I hope they enjoy their date!~

~Time skip to later that night~Lucy's POVThis has been a great day, but it's time that I left the guild and make the trek back home to my apartment.

I turn the key in the door knob to unlock my door. But instead of unlocking it, I locked it. I ran into the door thinking it was unlocked.

Ouch! Dang it, Natsu! You left the door unlocked!

This happens quite a lot. It's either he leaves this door unlocked, or he leaves the window wide open.

I turned the key again and then I finally entered my apartment.

He wasn't home yet, so I'll have to scold him- what's this?

On the kitchen counter, there was a bouquet of an assortment of different flowers with a note attached to it. The sight made me blush. I already knew who left them here.

I waltz over to them and pick them up gently to smell the beautiful flowers. It was quite lovely.

I then turned my attention to the note. His handwriting was very noticeable, since I helped him learn to read and write. He wrote:

Dear Luce,Do you remember that promise I made to you when we first met? Well, I'm going to fulfill it. Will you meet me on the roof of our apartment building?

Love, NatsuP.S. This note wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you for taking me out of the shadows of fear and bringing me into the light.

My eyes built up with tears as I read this. I did remember that promise he made me, actually. I thought he had forgotten it... I'm glad he didn't.

I take a vase from inside the kitchen and filled it up with water to put the flowers in.

I then went into my bathroom to freshen up. I washed my face and combed my hair. I did not apply makeup.

He would like me even without makeup. I told myself.

I was about to go to the roof access, but I found Natsu standing near the window. He had been waiting for me.

"How did you know I was here?" I questioned, with a slight blush seeing he wore a handsome outfit tonight for the occasion.

He snickered, "I could smell your scent. You know, you smell like strawberries and vanilla, right?" His sweet comment made my cheeks grow another shade of pink.

His did too. I can tell.

There was a pause. Then Natsu offered me his hand. I walked closer to him.

His mouth got up close to my ear. "Need a lift?" He asks in a cute, husky voice. My God! I can't stop blushing! He is just being so adorable.

I nodded, and, the next thing I knew, I was in his arms going out the window. He landed on the street then jumped up on the top of the roof. It shocked me, to say the least, at how far he can jump.

Natsu set me down and I saw the set up he created.

There was a soft blanket, laid across the floor. On top was a few pillows and a basket, with some sort of non alcoholic fizz drink and chocolate covered strawberries.

How did he know I loved strawberries?

"How did you know I liked strawberries?" I questioned with a smirk.

Natsu shrugged, "I did some research. I wanted you to enjoy our first date." The word 'date' rang in my ears. The butterflies in my stomach got even crazier.

I was smiling from ear to ear as he took my hand and guided me to the blanket. Once we sat down, we didn't let go of each other. It all just seemed natural. Like we were always meant to be like this.

We fed eat other strawberries and drank our fizz drinks. Being in the moment. The evening was so blissful.

I watched the sun go down, and the stars all come up. But I noticed Natsu wasn't looking at them. Only at me.

I didn't mind it. So, I pointed up at the different constellations and stars, naming them all. The moon, that was slowly creeping up the sky, was our only light to see each other's faces.

After a while, we just sat in a comfortable silence. Natsu, still staring at me, turns my face to meet his.

I knew what he was about to do, and, quite frankly, I have been ready for it.

His lips crashed onto mine like an ocean's wave. Refreshing and oh so amazing.

It wasn't rough. It was simple, romantic.

I could feel his love towards me in it. I hope he could sense mine as well.

We pulled away for air and just stared at one another, smiling.

A breeze broke my stare, causing me to shiver. Natsu saw this and opened his arms up wide, for me to enter. I accepted his offer. I was instantly engulfed in his warmth.

I was so warm that I started to feel myself drift off to sleep. I didn't want to, so I battled with it. Natsu, again, saw this. He lifted me up bridal style and took me back inside.

He laid me on my bed. Natsu was about to leave me, but I caught his arm. Deja vu hit me. I remembered that one night, not too long ago, when I did the same thing.

"Stay with me?" I asked, hoping he would. Of course, he can't say no to me. Natsu slid into my blankets and held me.

I slept like a baby, knowing he was right there to protect me.

In the mean time, I am still writing the book I talked about in my random book. It won't be done for a while. I'll be able to go full throttle on it now that I finally finished this book.
