Part 10

The first rays of sunlight was visible when Hiroshi reached the abandoned village. He looked around confused. He had no idea this village was uninhabited. He understood that the mission itself was a trap for Meera.

He was on guard sensing for any chakra when he felt 4 familiar chakra. He rushed towards it to find Meera's medic squad passed out. He felt another chakra and soon he heard a voice.

"Dont worry Mr. Hiroshi. They are fine. Just a little exhausted. I gave my word to Miss Meera that I wouldnt do anything to them." The voice spoke. No wonder Meera was captured. She was trying to save her squad.

"Come out you cowards." Hiroshi said sensing a few more chakras around. He then heard a chuckle. "Like sister, like brother." The voice said and soon he appeared in front of the Yagami.

"Hand over the scroll Mr. Hiroshi." The guy said calmly. "I wont untill I see my sister." Hiroshi replied sternly making him sigh. "Follow me." He said and walked deep into the forest. Soon what seemed like a hideout came into view.

As they got near, Hiroshi was able to sense Meera's chakra but it was too weak. He flared his own for confirmation but he didnt get a reply. He clenched his fists in anger and then remembered the rumours about the chakra supressing drug. He weaved handsigns with a single hand without the guy noticing.

Ryota stopped a few feets away from the hideout. "I am aware that you can sense Miss Meera's chakra from here. She is inside. Safe and sound. Now hand over the scroll Mr. Hiroshi." He said with a small smile. "Bring her outside. How am I supposed to know that you wont kill her after I give you the scroll? Her chakra is weak. What did you do to her?" Hiroshi asked.

Ryota sighed heavily. "Dont make this difficult than it already is Mr. Hiroshi. Just hand over the scroll and both of you can get out of this alive. If not.." He spoke but got interrupted by a loud noise from inside the hideout.

Hiroshi used this chance to kick him like a ball. The kick sent the guy flying and crash against a tree. Soon Meera was outside the hideout carrying a little kid.

Meera sensed a flaring chakra presence. She could always sense this chakra no matter her condition. A smile made its way to her lips. Hiroshi was here.

He was flaring his chakra to confirm her presence. But Meera had no energy to flare her chakra back. She couldnt do it. She had no chakra to do that. She felt weak but she knows what comes next.

Meera weaved handsigns and it wasnt long before she felt a surge of chakra throughout her body. There is one thing about the Yagami clan that nobody except a very few clan members know. With an advanced jutsu they can share their chakra with a blood relative without physical contact. Hiroshi and Meera have won several battles using this trick.

Meera immediately broke out of the cell and broke the opposite cell too. "Mina?" She called softly and saw a kid curled up at the corner. The kid opened her eyes at the voice. "Is that you mommy?" She asked weakly. "Lets get you home." She said and carried the kid in her arms.

Meera sensed a few chakra coming their way. She tried to be sneaky but it was no use. 4 of them surrounded her and she had no choice but to engage. "Mommy I am scared." The kid said in a shaky voice. "Dont worry. You will be fine." Meera replied softly.

Meera saw one of them reaching for the injection and she kicked him hard sending him flying and crashing on the others creating a bang as they hit the wall. It didnt knock them out but gave her the opening she needed. Meera used this oppurtunity to get out of the damn building.

Meera saw her brother as soon as she stepped outside. It didnt take long for her to notice that they were surrounded. Atleast 30 of them were there including Ryota Ohsaka.

"I really wanted this to be a peaceful exchange Miss Meera. You brought this upon yourself." He said calmly wiping the blood from his nose. "Meera! I can handle this. Here have some." Hiroshi said passing her some water which she gladly took. She was still feeling dizzy and the sudden exposure to sunlight gave her a headache.

"They are going to hurt us mommy." Mina said clutching Meera's shoulder in her tiny hands. "Dont worry Mina. I promise you. We will be fine." She replied with a smile looking at her doe eyes. She had no idea why she was calling her mommy but she couldnt afford to leave the kid here. Not after knowing what these monsters did to her.

Meera enveloped herself and Mina inside a big golden crystal and started healing the little girl while Hiroshi engaged the others. The look of surprise was evident on Ryota's face. He didnt expect Hiroshi to take out half of their men in a single move.

"Well, I guess it cant be helped." He sighed talking out the injection. Hiroshi launched at him to prevent him from taking the drug but was blocked by the ones standing. A few of them took the injection too. One of them charged straight at Meera and was about to punch the crystal encasing her but was met with a dark blue crystal rod piercing right through his heart.

It was a heated battle. Meera used up most of the chakra she had in healing Mina. She really wanted to help Hiroshi but she felt drained. The drug's effect was wearing off but at an incredibly slow pace. Meera saw that her brother was surrounded and one of them charged at him with an injection.

"Roshi!" She shouted catching his attention. Within a few minutes Ryota was the only one still standing. "You are stronger that I thought Mr. Hiroshi. But dont worry, you will die today." He spoke charging at the Yagami. He pierced his sword through Hiroshi's abdomen only to find a log of wood.

"Its over." Ryota heard Hiroshi's voice right behind him and felt something pierce through his stomach. It was a crystal sword. "Crystal Style: Crystal death" Hiroshi said making his eyes widen. Ryota felt his blood slowly crystalize when Meera felt several other chakra. By the looks of it, Hiroshi wasnt aware. Before she could warn him, he was kicked hard making him crash in a nearby tree.

Ryota fell on his knees coughing blood. "Pathetic. I cant even trust you to deal with a single thing." The newcomer spat at him. "You are just as useless as Ritsu." He said looking at his partner's weakened form.

In the blink of an eye the crystal surrounding Meera was shattered and she was forced to stand up by a hand pulling at her hair. "Dont hurt my mommy!" Mina screamed only for him to kick her stomach and she immediately fell unconscious. "Why you?" Meera gritted her teeth in anger but wasnt able to do anything in her state.

Hiroshi stood up spitting out the blood which pooled slightly in his mouth. "Hand over the scroll or she dies." He said holding a kunai to Meera's throat. "Dont even think about doing something silly. You are surrounded." He said and Hiroshi noticed the several chakra around them. He had no idea that their organization was so big.

The Yagami slowly took out a scroll "Dont. Dont Roshi." Meera said only for the guy to pull at her hair harshly. Before anyone could react, a bunch of shuriken was thrown at him making him release his grip on Meera. She was about to fall but was caught by a pair of strong arms.

"Hashi!" She whispered with a smile. "Took you long enough." Hiroshi huffed looking at the 2 people who decided to join the party. "Your handwriting looked like shit. It took us 30 minutes to decode your message." Madara said with a scoff making the Yagami roll his eyes.

Hashirama gently placed his wife on the ground with her back against a tree and brought the passed out kid to her. He erupted a barrier around them to keep them safe.

A good 20 minutes later most of their reinforcements were dead. Even though there were several people who took the injection, they didnt stand a chance against the leaders of the 3 most powerful clans to exist. Ryota Ohsaka and the other guy whose name they learned as Kei Teruhiko, another important member of their organization along with a few more were the only ones standing.

Meera felt Mina wake up in her arms. "Are you okay?" She asked softly. The kid blinked several times taking in her appearance and immediately hung on her like a koala. "Did they hurt you mommy?" She asked in a whisper. "No Mina. They didnt hurt me." Meera felt something weird everytime she called her mommy. It felt nice.

Their conversation was interrupted by a loud noise. She saw the 3 men trapped inside what seemed like a glass box. It was huge and by the looks of it they werent able to break it from inside. Meera felt the kid's breath hitch and shake like a leaf. She noticed that she was looking at a woman who just came out from the hideout she was trapped in.

The woman yawned lazily and stretched her arms. She looked around to see the pile of dead bodies and an almost dead Ryota Ohsaka. The 3 founders immediately understood that the woman was the one rumoured to be their leader, Akari Kito. "Cant you deal with things quietly? I was trying to sleep you know." She said glaring at Kei.

"Lady Akari.. We.." He started but was interrupted "Save it." She said and looked at the 3 men who were trying to break free from her glass prison. "The more you try, the more chakra gets drained from you." She said in a nochalant voice and walked towards Meera.

Hiroshi immediately weaved handsigns which Meera noticed. She also did the same with a single hand while the other hand held the trembling kid in her arms. Akira tried touching the barrier surrounding them but it burned her skin. "Minaa... dear... come on honey..." the woman called out in a sing-song voice.

Tears prickled the kid's eyes. "No." The kid replied in a whisper. "No? What do you mean no? Come on honey. I will give you your favourite dumplings." She cooed. "Mommy. I am scared." Mina said clinging on to Meera causing the woman to laugh like a maniac.

"Mommy? You think that woman is your mommy? Dont you remember dear Mina? I killed your mommy right infront of your eyes." Akira said and Meera felt the little kid shake violently in her arms, tears flowing from her eyes. Seeing her cry made her clench her jaw and an unexplainable anger bubbled inside the Senju.

Meera held her face in her hands to make the kid look at her. "Dont listen to her Mina. I promised to take you home didnt I?" She said to the calmly. Mina sniffed and nodded making Akira scoff. "If you dont come outside that damn barrier now, I am leaving you in the torture room for an entire night Mina." She said in a threatening voice. And that was the last string.

Meera was officially pissed. "Listen to me Mina. You wont come out of this barrier no matter what. Can you promise me that?" She asked with a smile and saw the kid hesitating. "Trust me Mina. Mommy will save you." She said making the kid nod.

Meera stepped out of the barrier and Akira laughed. "You think you can take me on? How naive. Cant you see those 3? You Yagami are great sensory ninjas arent you. You can feel their chakra draining right? Dont try to play hero infront of a kid. Just give up and I might let you live." Akira said and it was Meera's turn to laugh.

Everybody felt a strong chakra emmiting from Meera. Her eyes glowed golden. Golden lines covered her eyes and hands. "What is happening?" Madara asked noticing that Hiroshi's chakra drained faster than theirs. "I gave my chakra to her and she used to switch to sage mode." Hiroshi explained panting heavily.

Kei and Akira took a shot of the injection and attacked her back to back. Not giving her a single opening. But Meera was much stronger in her sage mode. Meera didnt have much time, her Sage jutsu can only last 5 minutes.

"Crystal style: Crystal dragons." 2 giants golden dragons launched at them. While they were distracted she used the oppurtunity to deliver a powerful blow shattering the glass prison keeping the 3 founders of Konoha and it wasnt long before the 2 were defeated.

I am not really satisfied with this chapter but this was the best I could come up with.

The next chapter will probably be the last one.
