Special Chapter 2: New Ackerman

"Levi!" A voice suddenly woke the raven haired man from his sleep. It was accompanied with a sudden shake from her pregnant wife who has her face scrunched in a pained expression. Levi suddenly become alert as he opened the lamp shade beside him to see his wife clearly.

"Shit. What happened? Are you fine? Is he fine?" He asked in worry when his wife suddenly grunted in pain.

"Y-yeah" She whispered while her hand continuously brushed above her tummy. "R-ready the car" Hanji instructed while panting a breath. "I t-think that our little c-champ wants to go out n-now" She said followed by another grunt when a string of pain jolted her lower body. Levi panicked when he saw his wife in that state so as fast as a lightning, he immediately grabbed the keys and ran out of their room. All through that time, his heart was beating fast and he don't know if it is caused by his wife who is finally having a labor or if it was due to his running.

Levi harshly opened the door and with shaking hands, he started the car. It errupted a loud noise when the engine went alive and he bet that it woke up a number of people in their neighborhood. Nevertheless, he paid no attention and just ran back to their room. Levi didn't even care that he was still in his long sleeves and pajama pants cause he just wants to bring his wife to the hospital as soon as possible in order to safely deliver their first child.

When he reached their room, he was shocked to see his wife standing beside the bed while taking support on their bedside table. Her back was curled down as she let out a series of raspy breaths. Her hand continuously rubs her large bump as if to sooth the pain that she has been experiencing.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" Levi exhaled before running to his wife. He grabbed her other arm to lead her back to the bed, carefully. Hanji looked at him and it pained Levi to see her with tears on her eyes while she occasionally scrunched her face.

"I-is it r-ready?" Hanji asked followed by a scream. Levi panicked and he immediately lifted his wife on his arms as gentle as he can. Hanji actually became heavier eversince she was pregnant so it has always been hard for Levi to carry her. But maybe it was the adrenaline in his body that made him easily lift his wife and ran her to the car where he carefully laid her at the back seat.

"Just stay in there and try to hold it for a while alright?" He told his wife who nodded while still breathing heavily. Levi grabbed the back of her head gently before pulling her closer to plant a kiss on her forehead. He then closed the door of the car and then he went to the driver's seat in order to get the vehicle moving.

The ride was fast but careful. Levi made sure that his wife will be brought at the hospital in time while also taking in consideration her state at the backseat. Hanji also called for Nanaba and Mike while they were on their way and the couple promised to follow them at the hospital immediately.

When Levi and Hanji finally arrived, he wasted no time to call for the nurses in the emergency room. They immediately readied a stretcher as Levi went back to the car and carried his laboring wife. He carefully laid Hanji on the stretcher as the nurses around them pushed it to one of the wards. Levi didn't leave her all throughout that time as he just held her hand while brushing her hair out of her face. Nanaba and Mike arrived afterwards, along with their two year old daughter who was looking at everyone curiously.

"Doc! Over here!" One of the nurse yelled before a doctor came running at them. Levi was not happy to see a male doctor aiding his wife so before he can even get closer to her, the raven haired man blocked him.

"Levi?!" Nanaba yelled at the chibi who was scowling at the man in front of him.

"Don't you dare go to her" He told the doctor while throwing him a glare. "As far as I can remember, we requested for a female one" Levi said with a hiss as the physician sighed. Nanaba on the side wanted to smack his head in order to get him back to his senses but fortunately, her husband stopped her before she can even do that.

"The doctor you requested is currently out in an emergency sir. So I will be the one to aid your wife on delivering your child" He replied in an obvious manner which made Levi even more pissed off.

"No man is allowed to touch her even if it-"

"STOP IT LEVI!" The short, raven haired man flinched in shock when he heard his wife yell from behind him. "JUST LET THE DOCTOR FUCKING DO HIS JOB!" she continued followed by another scream when a jolt of pain ran through her body. Levi 'tsk' and when the doctor pushed him aside.

The male physician went towards Hanji and then he slipped his hand inside her long night gown which made Levi even more annoyed. In all honesty, he just want to murder the doctor in front of him right now for touching his wife eventhough it was done to assist her in her labor.

"I'll be sure to cut his hand off later" Levi whispered while scowling at the doctor. Nanaba heard him thus she nudged her shoulders at him while Mike observed his former colleague in interest. It has been his new found entertainment that is why he always anticipates how Levi reacts with regards to Hanji.

"She's ready. Get her inside the delivery room now" The doctor instructed after slipping his hand out of Hanji's dress. Levi immediately went beside her wife, holding her hand as they accompanied her to the room where their first child will be brought out. They had to separate him from her for a few minutes tho since Levi have to dress himself in scrub suit if he wants to accompany his wife in her labor.

Inside the delivery room, the light was dim and the nurses around them were well-equipped. Hanji also has herself dress in an hospital gown with a cover on her head that pulled her brown hair inside. The doctor once again went in front of Hanji but before he can even start, Levi once again cut him off.

"Can't she just do it instead?" He asked while pointing a finger on the female nurse. The doctor looked at him in confusion before he shook his head.

"You know what Levi, just get out of the room!" His wife yelled after weakly smacking him at his arm. "You are not helping" She said and Levi hissed due to it. He complied tho with his wife's demands and he exited the room before he heard the doctor told his assistant that they would be starting.

Outside the room, Nanaba and her husband waited in anticipation. Their two year old daughter were sleeping at Mike's chest. They were both surprised tho when they saw Levi exiting the room while harshly removing his hair cap. The man's expression were scary as he was frowning so bad thus Nanaba went to him, followed by Mike who was walking much slower since he doesn't want to wake the sleeping toddler on him.

"Why are you not inside?!" Nanaba literally yelled at him. "Your wife is having a labor for pete's sake!"

Levi 'tsked', walking passed the furious woman. "She kicked me out of the room" He muttered before letting himself down the line of chairs. Nanaba looked at him in disbelief while Mike tried to contain his laughter in ordet not to piss the chibi even more.

"You know that she don't really mean it right? I mean, Hanji is in pain and you complaining about every little things is just adding up to her" Nanaba said while sitting beside the frowning chibi.

"I know alright!" He yelled in annoyance. But then, his expression suddenly softened. "I know that but I can't help not to worry..." Levi whispered making Nanaba and Mike surprised. He is really into her bestfriend, she knows that, but she never had an idea that between Hanji and him, it was actually Levi who is more attached to their partner. She always says that it was Hanji since she is the one more vocal between them after all.

"Hanji is so lucky to find a man like you" Nanaba thought while feeling a bit proud in place of her bestfriend.

While they were at that state, a nurse suddenly went out of the room and she ran towards Levi. The three of them looked at her as she panted out a breath before speaking.

"Your wife wanted you inside the room sir" She said and as fast as lightning, Levi immediately placed the hair cover on his head. He stomped his way towards the room, with the nurse trailing behind him. Inside the delivery room, Hanji was grunting as the doctor continuously told her to push. The woman cried in pain as she let herself fall on the bed while letting out heavy breaths.

"W-where is he?" She sobbed and as if on cue, Levi walked inside the room. She extended her hand at him which he took immediately. He placed a kissed on top of her knuckles and then he wiped her wife's sweat with the use of the back of his hand.

"Hey... You look like a crap" Levi muttered making Hanji laugh a little. She grunted tho when another series of pain errupted on her lower body.

"I-I'm sorry" Hanji apologized with a sob but Levi hushed her.

"Let's talk about that later" Levi said before planting a kiss on her head. "For now, let's just focus on our child. Alright?" He told Hanji who nodded at him with a smile. Then she started pushing once again as the doctors instruct her. All through out that time, Levi soothes her pain by whispering her sweet words on her ear. He didn't care even if his hands feels like it was about to break due to her squeezing cause he knows that between the two of them, it is actually Hanji who is in more pain. And as he looks at her while she bravely deliver their child, he can't help but admire his wife even more.

After a few more hours and screaming on Hanji's side, a loud and warm wail errupted on the inside of the operating room. On the hands of the doctor, a small baby cried continuously and eventhough it was much louder than the sounds that Levi can endure, for some unknown reason, his son's cries were music to his ears. Hanji panted on the bed and with tears at her eyes, she looked at their son proudly. Levi squeezed his wifes hand before he leaned down to kiss her on her lips. He feels so proud at her right now and Hanji knows it thru the emotions that her husband has conveyed thru their kiss.

The doctor prepped their kid as they moved Hanji to a different room so she can finally take a rest. Levi, on the other hand, were given the chance to bath their child and of course he willingly accepted that. As he held the small bundle of joy in his hand, he only felt pure bliss in his chest.

Afterwards, Levi was taken to his wife's room as their child was examined. As soon as he saw Hanji, he immediately embraced her and continuously kissed her on top of her head while the brunette laughed at her husband. The nurse then arrived while holding their kid on her arms. Levi took him from her and held the baby at his chest while he slowly walked to Hanji. He laid the child on top of Hanji's chest as the woman scooted a little to the side in order to provide a space for her husband.

"It makes me feel so happy that we made something so perfect as him" Hanji whispered while looking at their child. "And look! He got your nose!" She laughed before nipping her nose at the baby's. Levi smiled a little as he looked at his wife and their kid. The sight in front of him is too beautiful that he can't even believe that its true. He never imagined before that he can get to this point but here he is right now, with two precious people on his arms.

The baby suddenly made small noises in between them which made Levi snap back in reality. He looked down at the kid and his heart warmed up when it suddenly smiled.

"Damn it. I think that I want another one" Levi muttered while putting his finger close to the kid to lightly touch his cheek. The baby, despite having his eyes closed, held on it thru his tiny hands and the soft grasp of their child just made Levi flinch and smile warmly.

Hanji beamed at her husband. "Sure" She said while placing her head on his shoulder. "But next time, it should be you who'll deliver the kid alright?" She joked around, making Levi roll his eyes.

Nothing can make him happier anymore. He's got a wife that loves him and a family to take care of. And it all started when he lived with this woman under the same roof, who is now his partner and companion in the incoming years of his life.

AN: I'm sorry. I can't help it. I want to update atleast one chapter about them since I got too used to weekly updating this story huhu. Anyways, I told you guys before that I have a story being conceptualized right now didn't I? And here it is! The title is "Unlegally Together" and it was already published this afternoon :3

Plot and cover is as follows:

Faced with deportation to her native country, an aspiring book writer and assistant editor Hanji Zoe, said that she was engaged to a citizen from their city in order to prolong her stay for her upcoming promotion. Due to this, she now has to look for this one person who'll agree to marry her under this condition but when she stumbled upon a lost identification card of a law student in the name of Levi Ackerman, she knew exactly what to do.

First 2 chapters are out! And don't worry cause the feels of this one will be the same as that in here cause I love stories like this!!! Hahahahaha
