Chapter 26: Violation

Levi's POV

6:30 in the morning. I am currently at the doorway of out apartment, nearing my limits as I wait for my shitty girlfriend who has been taking too long inside her room. Seriously, she has been in there for almost as hour already and I don't think that she has any plans of getting out anymore. As much as I like the idea of us walking together towards the bus stop before going to work, this awful minutes of waiting for her as she do her shits has already made me annoyed. And since I have grown tired and impatient already, I stomped my way towards her room and then I started beating her door hard with my clenched fist.

"Oy! Do you even want to get out of there? Cause I seriously want to go on my way already!" I sarcastically yelled. A few seconds later, I heard a series of faint stumbles inside her room before Hanji yelled back from the other side of her door.

"Wait! I am almost done!" She said followed by a few more faint noises. I brushed my palms on my face. Hanji's definition of 'almost' is always the opposite so there is definitely no way on Earth that she is nearly finished. 

"5 minutes!" I shouted and then I turned my back. As if on cue, her door opened making me looked behind.

"Done!" Hanji said smiling as she flipped her hair. The sight that greeted me in front of made my whole body stop but trust me, it is not because the woman in front of me mesmerized me. I just can't fucking believe what she just did with her face since she literally painted it with colors.

"Take that off" I commanded, frowning at her. Hanji's eyes grew wide before she huffed a breath, shaking her head.

"No! It took me an hour to put all of this after all" She replied, being the same hardheaded Hanji. She walked past me, grabbing her bag in the process but before she could even get out, I took hold of her arm and dragged her to the bathroom. Hanji protested as I pulled her inside and opened the faucet in the sink. I grabbed a towel, damping it with water before I wiped her face with it removing every cosmetic that she put.

"You look more shitty with those make up on" I said wiping the side of her face. Hanji rolled her eyes.

"Boyfriends should compliment their lovers, shouldn't they? So why are you roasting me" She asked while glaring at me. From the side of her face, I put the towel just above her mouth to remove the lipstick.

"It will embarass me if they see me walking with a clown. And to be honest, there is nothing that can be complimented with how you look earlier" I told her as I finally finished removing her make up.

"At least once, I wanted to look pretty yet you just spoiled it" Hanji said slightly pouting her lips. I took this as a chance to give her a peck. She smiled goofily afterwards.

"I like how naturally crappy you look. You don't have to change anything about it anymore" I replied taking hold of her hand. Hanji smiled as we left the bathroom to finally get out of the house. She locked the door as soon as we were out and hand-in-hand, we walked the streets, towards the bus stop.

"By the way Levi, is it okay if I tell Nanaba about us? I mean, she has always been looking forward for this even before I met you" She asked, half laughing, while we were walking together. Hanji probably pertains to our current status and to be honest, I don't really mind if she tell everybody about it. It would give me less work to keep her away from bastards and shits after all.

"Yeah" I answered making Hanji hum in excitement. We walk for a few more minutes with Hanji still blabbering like always and before I know it, we have already reached the bus stop. Hanji and I would take separate buses since our workplace are situated in opposite directions.

"I'll be going now" Hanji smiled as she let go of my hand. "See you later at the apartment" She said but before she could leave, I grabbed her hand to stop her. She looked at me, a bit confused.

"I'll fetch you from work later. My out is at 6 after all, almost the same as yours" I told Hanji whose eyes started sparkling.

"Really?? Okay okay!" She said excitedly. I let go of her hand and she immediately ran to reach the bus who almost closed its door on her. Before she got inside, she sticked her head out and waved her hand at me. I smiled slightly and waved back.

I really like how giddy she gets even at simple things. And thinking that part of her happiness is contributed by me just makes me feel so proud.

Hanji's POV

"Meeting adjourned" Erwin said, the same time when the lights in the conference room turned on and the projection behind him closed. Every employee inside the hall started getting out of the room leaving only me and most of my team.

I looked at my wrist watch and seeing that it has already been 5 minutes after 6 pm, I immediately packed my things up. Levi is probably on his way now towards this building.

I was about to get out when Nifa called for my attention, catching most of my team's also.

"Hanji!" She ran towards me as I looked at her. I answered with a hum. "How's you and Levi?" She asked with a smirk making my eyes grow wide.

"Huh? We're fine. Why?" I answered, getting a bit confused with what she is trying to point out.

"Are you two dating already?" She leaned forward, grinning at me. "I saw you two earlier at the bus stop so you don't need to deny anymore" Nifa giggled, hiding her mouth woth her knuckles to muffle it a bit.

All of my team's eyes were darted on me as if also looking for answers so to satisfy their curiousity, I smiled widely and nodded.

"Yes" I said beaming and then most of them started cheering. Nifa squealed, running towards Abel to give him a high five.

"I told you guys! They'll get to that!" Nifa shouted towards Rashad and Keiji. They both sighed and reached for thei wallets, giving Nifa a couple of bills. The petite girl celebrated as she received the money.

"Sorry Hanji. Nifa and the guys made a bet about you and Levi" Abel said smiling apologetically. I just chuckled at him.

"No worries" I patted him at his shoulder. "The only thing that pisses me off tho is the fact that some of you voted against the possibility that Levi and I won't be together" I glared at both guys who gave Nifa some money.

"Sorry Hanji. We thought that Levi would have very high standards with women after all" Keiji said. I frowned at him and immediately launched myself wrapping my arms around his neck to bend his body down thru it.

"So you think little of me?! Is that so?!" I yelled at him as I pulled him down even more. Keiji laughed and jokingly cried in pain as he lightly slap my arms off his neck.

"I give up! I give up!" He said, laughing afterwards. I let him go and just slapped his back harshly which made him cough his breath out.

"Actually there is another person who voted against it" Nifa said looking around the place. "Where's Mob?" She asked and that is when it all rained down to us that Moblit is missing.

"He was just right here beside me earlier" Rashad said pointing a finger at the spot next to him. Nifa raised an eyebrow at him and before they could argue, I already cut them off.

"I think that I have an idea where he could be" I said picking up all of my items from the table. "I'll go look for him. See you tomorrow guys!" I exited the conference hall and immediately went to my cubicle. I placed all of my papers down and just grabbed my bag, walking across Moblit's cubicle to check if he is in there. But he wasn't so I decided to go at the back of the building.

Whenever Moblit and I feel pressured, we have this certain spot in the alley just behind the building where we usually drink beer or just talk. That way, we are able to vent out our stress and at the same time, have fun. Since Moblit just suddenly disappeared and he is nowhere to be found in the office, then there's a huge possibility that he is out there. And it looks like my guess was right because when I opened the door outside of the building, Moblit was out there leaning his back at the wall with his head down low. His hands were inside his pocket and he seemed so gloomy, much to my confusion.

"Mob!" I called for him as soon as I closed the door. He raised his head, looking at me shocked as I went bear him. "What's up with you? Why do you look like that?" I asked him as I also leaned my back at the wall, just a few feet beside him. Moblit didn't answer. Instead, bowed his head low once again but I know that he has something that he wants to say. So I just stayed at my spot and busied myself by kicking the rocks beside my feet.

"Is it true?" I heard him mutter which made my head turn his way.

"What?" I asked, stepping closer to him.

"The thing about you and that Levi. Is it true?" Moblit raised his head, darting his eyes directly at me. I froze at my spot and was unable to say anything so I just nodded my head. Moblit laughed bitterly. "But I thought that he was a gay. You said it!" He half-yelled at me and I flinched. This is the first time that Mob raised his voice at me.

"You see, it wasn't true.." I said in almost a whisper. "Levi just said that he was gay in order to get in my apartment"

To my surprise, Moblit suddenly punched the wall beside my head. He looked at me, his eyes burning from I don't know what emotions. It has mixed inside of it that I can point out if it is anger, jealousy, or agony.

"He lied to you! So why?!" He asked me, pulling me by my shoulders. His actions made me yelp as I looked at his eyes with fear. This isn't the Moblit that I know.

"Mob... calm down... Please" I said, trying to chill his emotions. But instead of calming, he became more aggressive as he tightened his hold of my shoulders, pushing me at the walls. I slightly screamed due to it.

"I was always there for you!" Moblit said and that is when I realized that he is crying right now. All of my fear disappeared as I suddenly felt guilty. "I accompanied you in your achievements and downfalls. In your first excavation, first trip outside the country, and first international conference" He sobbed, hanging his head low. "I was with you even before he came into the picture. So why can't it be me? I was serious when I confessed to you" Moblit's grasp on my shoulders loosened as his hand fell from my shoulders, down to my arms.

"I am sorry Mob. But... I don't think that I could ever love a guy aside from Levi...." I whispered feeling a bit down as I watched my bestfriend's shoulder shake due to his sobs. "It was as if my feelings were only created for him. So even if we have met years before, I don't think that I can still reciprocate your feelings for me"

Moblit raised his head, looking at me with his eyes red from tears. "You are making a mistake" His eyes were directly at mine and I suddenly felt an unknowing chill down my spine. "And I'll make you realize it" He muttered under his breath and before I could react, Moblit crashed his lips on mine. He roughly kissed me as he pulled my body closer to him thru my arms. I tried to shake his lips off mine but he held my head with his other hand and deepened the kiss. I couldn't react nor push him away because my hands were trapped in between his chest and mine. Unable to do anything, I just cried as one of my most trusted friend kissed me against my will.

He let go of my lips after a moment and a sob immediately escaped my mouth. I tried to turn my head away from him but he held it hard, trying to make me look at him directly.

"Who is it Hanji? Me or him?" He asked, looking at me with the same emotions in his eyes.

"Mob... You are scaring me" I cried, my vision being blurry from the tears that accumulated in my eyes. Moblit hissed and for the second time, he crashed his lips on mine, muffling my yelp. With the last strength that I had, I tried to push him by his chest but Moblit just closed the gap between us even more. He once again let go of my lips as another sob came out of it.

"Who is it Hanji?!" He yelled shaking me by my shoulders. I wasn't able to answer as I just cried even more. So he once again leaned his head but before his lips made contact with mine again, a hand went in between. I looked at the side and saw Levi glaring at Moblit so hard that his look could already kill him. He immediately removed Mob's grasp from me and to my shock, Levi threw a punch at Moblit's face throwing him a few feet away from us. He didn't stop there as he stomped his way towards my colleague, pulling him by his collar only to land another blow on him.

"Levi!" I ran towards him to halt his body when it attempted to punch Moblit once again. But he pushed me away and continued his steps towards the man who was now sitting on the floor, wiping his bloodied lips.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TRYING TO DO TO HER?!" Levi yelled as soon as he pulled Moblit by his collar again. Moblit hissed at Levi making him even more furious. "ANSWER ME YOU SHIT!" he yelled shaking him a bit. Earlier it was only my colleague that scared my but right now, seeing Levi in this state made me shake in fear too. "FUCK IT!" He was about to land another punch when my scream made him stop midway.

"Levi stop!" my boyfriend looked behind him and when our eyes met, his expression softened. "Let's just go home... Please" I sobbed. Levi let go of his grasp on Moblit as he walked towards me. He grabbed my hands and we walked out of the scene, with my head down low and my boyfriend fuming in anger.

He halted a cab as soon as we got out of the alley and immediately told the driver the address. None of us initiated the conversation nor even made a noise while we were on our ride home. Only the sound of the car's engine and the music blasting thru the radio is heard inside. Levi hasn't let go of my hand and it seems like he does not have any plans to do so. Maybe it is his own way of assuring me but I can't help but still feel a bit scared of him. I can sense his anger emanating from him after all.

The cab stopped when we reached our apartment. Levi paid the driver as we both got out of the car. We went towards the door and that was the only moment when Levi let go of my hand. He digged thru his pocket, fishing the house keys and recklessly jammed it at the doorknob. The keys didn't went in at the first try, as well as his next, and on his third try, the keys fell from his hand making him groan in anger. He slammed both of his fist at the door, leaning his head on it after. Levi was breathing heavily while I just stood behind him, biting my own lip as tears threatened to fell from it again.

"I'm sorry" I heard Levi whisper. "I'm sorry that you had to see that" it was followed by a sigh before silence dominated the two of us once again.

I looked at my boyfriend who kneeled to get the keys. But before he could grab it, I went down on the same level as his and held his hand. Levi looked at me with his eyes wide but afterwards, his expression became calm.

"I'm sorry if you had to see that too..." I said in a small voice. "I never expected that Mob..... That Moblit could do that" A sob nearly came out of my mouth before Levi pulled me in an embrace. He held me so tight in his shoulders as he buried his face at the crook of my neck.

"But you didn't kiss him right?" He muttered. I shook my head as response.

"No.... I didn't kiss him back too..." I said and as if on cue, Levi's head rose. He grabbed something from his pocket and when he extended his hand on my face, that is when I realized what it was. He got a hankie and he wiped it over my lips for a few times.

"Let's get every traces of him away from you" He said wiping it even more. I complained when it started to get hurt.

"Hey stop it" I told him as I grabbed his hand. Levi hissed, getting the keys from the floor and then he stood up to open the door. He waited till I got in before he closed it behind him. I turned my back to go to the living room when Levi pulled me and turned my body around so I'm facing him. He embraced me tightly once again.

"If I discover that he tries to do that to you again, I swear that I would really finish him up Hanji" Levi whispered. "You don't know how furious I was when I saw him violating you in that alley even while you were crying"

I let out a small laugh. "I know it you idiot. I saw how much you yelled and punched Moblit. Do you think I could not figure out how angry you were?" I joked but Levi didn't flinch. He just hugged me tighter. "I love you Levi" I whispered and it didn't even took him a second to reply.

"I know and I love you too shitty glasses" He said letting go of me. Levi then held my hand as we walked inside the house.

We just started our relationship and we have already encountered something like that. It only proves that our decision of choosing each other really do have its own consequences and in the future, there'll be a lot more trials and oppression. But I'm ready to face it tho. Cause I got a furious chibi with me who also comes to my rescue no matter what situation I get myself into. And thinking that I have this kind of guy as my boyfriend, just makes me feel like the luckiest woman alive.

AN: I AM SO SORRY MOB THAT I MADE YOU LOOK BAD! LOL. Anyways, I'll be updating this story every weekend cause I'm unable to do so on weekdays because of my job and my college :((
