Chapter 47

Alright guys I am sorry to say, but this is the last chapter.  Good news, there will be a sequel, and I already know sort of what I want to happen, although I may ask for suggestions in the future.  You all are amazing, and I would like to give a big thanks to all of your support for this story.  For giving me a motivation to continue with this story.  Because honestly I wasn't sure how well this was going to go, so thank you all so very much.  Also just to let you all know there will be a few bad words in this chapter towards the end.  (yes I said bad words, don't judge me lol.)

Rin's POV

Soon we pulled apart to breathe, but his hold on me never wavered.  I held him close as he did me.  Our foreheads never left the other, my eyes closed trying to catch my breath and to fully understand what is happening.  Sesshomaru and I are expecting.  A smile made its way to my lips, and I knew that Sesshomaru was watching me.  I could feel his eyes on me.  Soon I felt him begin to caress my stomach, which caused a small giggle to leave me.  I was happy, so very happy, but also a bit afraid.  I am young, but as long as I have Sesshomaru by my side, everything will be fine, I am sure of it. 

"The two of you are my life."  He told me. 

"I know."  I told him breathlessly, my hold tightening on his neck.  My eyes opening and meeting his.  I searched him and found the truth.  I smiled at him as he did in return. 

"Sleep Rin, I will be here when you wake."  My eyes already felt heavy.  How I have been asleep all day?  Oh right duh.  I chuckled to myself as Sesshomaru pulled me closer to him.  I closed my eyes and fell asleep quickly.

There was a slight pressure on my stomach and I could feel air touching my skin.  As I began to gain more consciousness I could feel hands on my sides, and a body on my lower half.  I opened my eyes to see Sesshomaru holding my sides in his hands as head was on my belly.  My hands found their way to his hair.  He still didn't move, although he did speak.  "Finally you awaken."  I smiled down at him.

"What are you doing?"  I giggled while running my fingers through his hair.

"Listening."  He said calmly.

"Listening?"  I asked confused.

"Heart beat."  I smiled, he was listening to our child's heartbeat. 

"What does it sound like?"  I asked wanting to know, since I couldn't hear it myself.

"Sounds like yours or mine, but faster, quieter." 

"Is that good?"  I got a bit worried, and he could feel it.

He looked up at me and crawled back up to me, his left hand coming up to hold himself up from crushing me, but his right hand stayed on my stomach.  "Our pup is healthy."  I closed my eyes as I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. "Rin breathe."

I opened my eyes, "Breathing."  I told him.  He sat up taking me with him slowly. 

"I have the servants preparing you food right now.  It shall arrive shortly."

At the mention of food, my stomach turned and not in a good way.  I raced to the bathroom, Sesshomaru on my heels.  I made it to the toilet and lifted the lid, as I threw up liquids.  Once I was done the same cycle was done, brush teeth and rinse.  I hate this being sick thing.  I don't like it.  Sesshomaru helped me walk back to the bed.  And I made sure to recover myself with my clothing. "Are you alright?"

"I have a freaking demon child growing inside me, and I feel like throwing up every second, what do you think."  His face dropped, and I knew that I upset him.  "I will be fine, just part of being pregnant is all, its normal."

He surprised me with his response.  "A human carrying a demons child is not normal Rin."

"For us it is."  He cracked a small smirk at that.

"I suppose you are correct."

"Suppose, no I am correct period."  He chuckled at that, and that is when there was on a knock on the door. 

"My lord Rin's food is prepared."  Master Jakens voice was heard. 

"You may enter."  The door opened and a servant girl walked in with Master Jaken ahead of her.  Jaken took the tray of food from her and Jaken then placed it on the night table next to the bed.  They both left, but not before Master Jaken had to say something.

"Mi-Lord are you sure that...."

"Leave Jaken."  He told the toad demon coldly.  Jaken bowed and ran out of the room closing the door behind him. 

"Rin you must eat, now more than ever."  Sesshomaru spoke sternly as to get his point across.

I gulped as I looked at the tray of food.  There were eggs, meat, bread, and fruit.  I saw the eggs and felt hungry.  I reached for the plate of eggs that had been cooked the way I like them, scrambled.  I used a pair of chop sticks to eat, and I began eating them.  I hadn't realized how hungry I was until I began eating.  I reached for the cup of water and took a few sips before I continued to eat.  I reached over to grab a slice of beef that was on the tray and ate that two.  There was a biscuit and I reached over and took it.  My mouth was full when I looked up to see Sesshomaru smirking at me. 

I didn't care that my mouth was full, he did this to me.  "What?" 

"Nothing."  I gave him a look, but continued to eat.  I couldn't stop stuffing my mouth full.  I was starving, and these eggs were great.  I finished the eggs first and gave a sad depressed look when I saw they were gone.  I sighed and ate more of the bread and another slice of beef.  I was getting full and decided I needed something healthy. I grabbed the red apple that was on the tray and then shook my head at the rest of the food.  I ate the apple quickly and then drank the rest of the water.  Sesshomaru rang for the servant to come back and take the tray, but to return with a cup of water.  The girl followed the instructions she was given, and brought back a cup of water.  I took a sip from the water, and sat it back on the table.  Sesshomaru moved to the head of the bed and took me into his lap.  His hands covered my still flat stomach, but you could feel that it was hard bump there.  The baby or Sesshomaru called pup.  I sat there in his arms, playing with his hands being bored, but content with my life. 

"So they no longer want me, but our unborn child."  I stated.  I felt Sesshomaru nod his head as he placed a kiss to my temple.  "This means you can never let me out of your site, to never let me go."  His arms tightened around me.

"Not ever."  His voice was lower and filled with power, but I loved it. 

"This means there will only be more people after me, after us.  On the bright side, you we are going to be parents, and this means you have to get nicer, boy that is going to be fun, and something to look forward to."  I giggled.  Sesshomaru tickled me and stopped as to not make me feel sick or make me uncomfortable.  I laughed before his lips found mine again.  "We have to tell."  I told him.

"The only one left to tell is Mother."  I looked at him confused.  "Everyone else knows."  I nodded understanding.

"How do you think she will take it?  I mean she doesn't like me very much and thinks that I owe her something, so even she sends some men after me to catch me.  Didn't work but..."  I shrugged my shoulders as Sesshomaru growled.  "Sshh."  I told him as I took his hands and placed them over my stomach once more to help calm him.  It worked faster than I expected which caused me to giggle.  I turned my head to look at him, he was happy, but there was something up.  "Sesshomaru?"

"You're pregnant."

"Yes, I know, you know, what of it, I thought you were happy?"

"I am, it's just..."

"Just what?"  Oh, oh.  I giggled and moved slightly to whisper in his ear.  "You know, as long as you're gentle..."  I didn't even get to finish my sentence.  I found myself pinned to the bed. 

"If I begin to lose control, even a little..."

"Tell you I know."  I giggled.  He kissed me a bit rougher than I was expecting, but he was still gentle enough as to not cause any harm to me or the baby.  That is when we hear loud noises coming from another part of the castle.  Sesshomaru got off of me and left the room to go see what it was.  A few minutes after he left the door to our room was flew open.  A raging demon mother appeared in the room.  I couldn't since Sesshomaru and began to freak a bit, but I tried not to show it.  I may have been healed, but all of my strength had not yet returned, I stood no match against her right now.  I stood from the bed, and looked at her. 

"I finally found you, and here you are in my sons' bed.  Who the hell do you think you are, you little whore?"  She growled out. 

"Please..."  I begged her as I stuck my hand out to try and keep from raging completely.  My other covering my stomach.  She doesn't know what I am to her son. 

"I have you now, you kill my men, you make me look foolish, you make me seem weak.  I will not go easy on you.  You are coming back with me, and you will do as I say!"  She growled out.  She was across the room faster than I could blink, and had me pinned to the wall.  I tried contacting Sesshomaru, but I don't know if it worked or not.  I could barely breathe.  I then heard a growl come from the doorway.  I glanced behind her and saw Sesshomaru standing there with his eyes red, fangs and claws out.  He was beyond pissed right now. 

"Release her." Sesshomaru growled out.

"You allow this pathetic whore of a human in your bed?"  He growled.  "I will end her here and now."  Her grip on my throat tightened, Sesshomaru knew that at his slightest movement she would snap my neck in a second. 

"Mother let her go."  He was almost pleading with his own mother.  He returned back to his normal self as he took a hesitant step forward.  Her grip tightened.  "Mother please, listen?  Just listen, that is all I ask of you?"  She growled out and listened as he had asked, which was a bit shocking.  Her head spun so quickly to look me in the eyes, if she were human I am sure her neck would have snapped killing her.  Her gaze left my eyes to look down at my stomach.  Sesshomaru spoke again.  "You wanted me to learn compassion, to feel, to love.  Well I have, Rin is mine.  My mate, and she is pregnant with our unborn pup, if you hurt her or our pup, if you kill her, kill them.  I will not hesitate to kill you where you stand!"  He growled out the last part.  She looked back up at me.  She finally let me go and I dropped.  Sesshomaru caught me before I could hit the floor.  I held onto him as I coughed trying to catch my breath.  We both looked into each other's eyes at the same moment, and then towards his mother who stood staring at us.  She left out of the room, as we looked back at each other. 

"Well that went well."
