The Dream

Author's POV

Luhan clenches his fist softly because of the tension he got from what just happened, he is now staring at the doctor who does some check up on Nayeon. Panic draws his face but he says nothing, he needs to remain calm eventhough his mother keeps freaking out.

"What if she had a severe ill?" His mother starts making up a spooky story. Not long after that she gets a scold from Luhan's father, leaving her in a deep silent.

Luhan lets out a relief sigh because now the room is quiet, all he could hear is his own heart beat. After the doctor draws Nayeon's blood, he turns to face Luhan and the rest of Lu's family.

"She is alright, all her vitals in a good condition, but I'll do some lab tests to make sure" Doctor Ming talks as he pats Luhan's shoulder.

Doctor Ming is Lu's family personal doctor. He was Lufei and Luhan's doctor when they were young and often got the fever. He's just like their uncle.

"What a relief, thank you doctor Ming" Luhan's mother finally speaks up again.

"I will come here again tomorrow with the result of the lab test-----" Doctor Ming pauses and smiles to Luhan.

"Make sure she gets a proper meal, even when she rejects it, make sure you force her" He continues and pats Luhan's shoulder once again.

After Luhan says his thank, doctor Ming leaves the room with Luhan's parents. Now he is alone with his wife. His legs take steps closer to the bed, he decides to sit on the edge, taking her hand into his, keeping it warm.

"Get well really soon" Luhan whispers as he stares at her pale face. His free hand starts stroking her cheek gently, doesn't want to add up her pain. His heart cracks because the one he loves is in this state, not able to hold his hand back.

"Don't get hurt" Luhan frowns slightly as he places a kiss on her forehead. It brings back the bad memory about losing her. He feels the same pain as when Nayeon got a shoot. He now realizes, there is no certain levels of pain if it was about her, every pain is severe, deathly.

Hear nothing but a light breath, in a dim light a shade of an angelic face welcomes her from a deep sleep. She knows it's cold outside, but around his embrace, she feels nothing but warmth. Slowly she reaches out her hand to touch his face, stroking gently like it would break like a glass.

"You must be worry about me" She talks in a low tone, almost inaudible.

Nayeon acknowledges everything that happened last night. She knows that she fainted but she doesn't know why, maybe too tired because of a long preparation of the wedding, and of course plus a tight diet. But when she first opened her eyes, she feels so fresh, like she wakes up from a long beauty sleep.

She is very sure, even she forces herself to get back to sleep, she won't fall asleep. So, she just snuggles to Luhan's chest and waits for the sun rise. Sometimes she lifts her face just to watch him sleep, sometimes she runs her finger on Luhan's jawline, hoping he will wake up because she has no heart to wake him up purposely.

When the sun slowly rises, giving the world a new dawn, Nayeon starts to wake him up "Wake up" Nayeon whispers childishly but Luhan didn't move even an inch. She pouts cutely and repeats her line to wake him up.

Her second failed makes her snorting softly and pinches Luhan's waist softly. Then again, nothing happened. Luhan is just too deep to his sleep.

"Waaake uuuup" Nayeon tries for the last time but her husband still sleeps soundly.

"I get it" Nayeon talks to sleeping Luhan and frowns to him. She totally looks like a little kid trying so hard to get the attention.

Annoyed because she failed to wake him up, she decided to wake up by herself. She pulls away from his embrace and sits on the edge of the bed.

"Ouch" Nayeon whines when she feels a back pain after she stands up from the bed. She starts stretching up her body but all of sudden, she has an urge to puke. Running in a high speed to the bathroom, she throws up to the toilet bowl.

"Damn" She mumbles as she flushes it. After that she decided to take a warm shower.

Walking out from the shower, she puts on the bathrobe infront of the mirror. Between her activity, suddenly she stops and runs down her eyes on her body. Get a clear realization, she feels stupid because she never notices her change. It's actually obvious. She did a tight diet, her arms, her thighs, all lost a significant weight but her tummy, it lost a little weight.

"Oh my God" Nayeon whispers as she touches her belly. Her heart beats so fast because of excitement. Yes, now she realizes, a little baby might live inside her womb. Immediately, she gets teary eyes, her hand covers up her mouth.

"Oh my God" She repeats it again cause she has nothing to say other than that.

Nayeon chuckles softly to herself because she knows she might be pregnant. Mood swing, surge of hormones, back pain, and puking.

"I got no periode" Gasps leave her lips. She shakes her hands like a little kid as she screams softly. Smile is gracing her face, as a prove of a pure happiness.

"Are you there?" Nayeon smiles widely as she strokes her tummy. She hopes the baby is there, listening to her voice, remembering his/ her mother's voice. This is the best morning in her life, nothing can beat her happiness this morning. She can't wait to tell it to Luhan, she can't wait to see a priceless face he would make.

Nayeon walks to the dining room, trying to find Luhan's mother or maybe Fei jie. She needs to ask them, because they experienced pregnancy. She needs to make sure. First she walks to the dining room because she thinks the family might having their breakfast. But there is noone other than maids.

Nayeon smiles to the maids and decides to find them in the living room. On her way there, she meets Luhan's mother and Fei jie. Fei jie is so calm but Luhan's mother is ready to freak out again when she sees Nayeon.

"Mom, we need to talk" Nayeon speaks up first with a smile on her face.

"I think I'm-----"

"6 weeks pregnant" Luhan's mother screams from the bottom of her heart. Nayeon blinks innocently, how could his mother know? Like, the exact week of her pregnancy.

"Congratulation" Fei jie claps her hands with the same happy smile on her face.

"I'm so happy, I'm getting a new grandchild" Luhan's mother takes Nayeon's hand and dances with it. Nayeon chuckles softly because of her mother in law.

"But, mom, how could you know?" Nayeon asks.

"Doctor Ming said so, the lab test said so" Luhan's mother chuckles as she gives Nayeon a soft hug.

Doctor Ming visited them early in the morning, just to bring this happy news for Lu's family. Doctor Ming already knew about this but he didn't say a thing. He needed to make sure first, and he was right. His sense as a doctor is sharp, he could tell she is pregnant just by touching her abdomen.

"You need to tell Luhan, he must be so so so happy" Lufei talks after her mother broke the hug with Nayeon. Lufei knows that her brother is obsessed to have a baby. There is one time when she caught him reading a paternity book at office, he didn't try to hide it, but the opposite, he asked her if she wants a new niece.

"Oh, right" Nayeon talks.

After excusing herself, Nayeon walks to Luhan's room. Being extra careful with every step she takes, being paranoid because now she carries Luhan's child. She wants to protect Luhan's child at all costs.

Luhan is still snoring softly when Nayeon gets in to the bedroom. Nayeon slams the door purposely to make him up but nothing. She's half frowning half smiling as she's approaching the bed.

"Wake up" Nayeon screams to Luhan as she tickles him. All she gets just a little whining sound from Luhan and he casually covers his ear with the pillow.

"Yah" Nayeon chuckles as she snatches the pillow from him.

"Please, 5 more minutes" Luhan whines softly, totally forgets about what happened last night. He forgets that Nayeon was sick because of his own tiredness. After a moment, he starts faking a cute cry because Nayeon starts pouring him with wet kisses along his jawline. Those wet kisses distract Luhan from his sleep, not only that, it easily makes the blood flowing downward, to the little Luhan.

"Stop it" Luhan talks breathily, his eyes open, staring to Nayeon.

"Wake up, please" Nayeon speaks cutely and also puts a cute pout on her face.

"I wake up already----" Luhan pauses and smirks to her.

"----but your little luhan wake up as well" He continues and Nayeon bites her lips. His words really make her wet. Her damn hormones want more dirty talk.

"Really?" Nayeon whispers sexily to his ear, giving him goosebumps.

Nayeon didn't let him answer, she just starts kissing his neck again, feeling the urge to feel his touch. In the other hand, Luhan realizes why he is so horny, it's because they didn't make love last night. Then again, he realizes that last night, his wife was sick. But watching her acting like all horny, he knows she is alright now.

"I need you babe" Luhan whispers softly to her as he strokes her tiny waist. A moan escapes Nayeon's lips, making him more hard.

"Love me Han"

After the morning excercise, Luhan takes a shower with Nayeon. Eventhough she had it before, but he made her sweaty. She feels satisfied with their morning sex, it makes her damn hormones calming down.

"What a nice morning" Luhan brags after they finished the shower. He smiles softly to Nayeon and he backhugs her, who is combing her hair infront of the mirror.

"It's been days since the last time we had that quick sex at your mother's place" Luhan talks again as he stares at her through the mirror.

"And you know what, I think your boobs are getting bigger" Luhan peeks at her boobs through the cleavage of the bathrobe. In the other hand, Nayeon just blinks her eyes at him, she forgets about the main purpose waking him up. Now he talks about her swollen boobs, she remembers.

"Luhan" Nayeon talks softly as she turns her body to face him. She smiles to Luhan as she plays her finger on Luhan's bare shoulder. Looking down slightly to cover up her wide smile, she starts revealing the good news.

"I'm 6 weeks pregnant" She now shows him her wide smile, her eyes stare into his, anticipating his reaction.

"What?" He asks with his high pitch tone, his cheekbones already up, covering his sparkling eyes.

"I'm carrying your baby" Nayeon tells him, her eyes already turn into a crescent shape, giving him her adorable eye-smile.

"Oh my God" He covers his mouth like a teenage girl, his face shows an adorable expression to Nayeon, an expression which everybody is willing to wait years to see it.

"Oh my God" He mumbles that sentence again as he pulls her into his embrace, stroking her wet hair softly.

"Thank you, thank you so much" Luhan whispers softly and places a gentle kiss on the top of her head. So many things happened in his 48 hours, most of them are wonderful blessings. He feels like he is the luckiest husband and father-to-be in the world.

After a while, Luhan breaks the hug and kneels down infront of her. He softly touches her belly and chuckles, he feels a wave of good vibes when he touches it.

"Hello there, I'm your father" Luhan talks in his girly voice, making Nayeon cringes.

"You're a baby girl, right?" Luhan asks, his eyes widen staring at her belly, like the baby would talk back. Nayeon chuckles softly as she runs her hands on Luhan's wet hair. Feeling the touch, Luhan lifts his chin up and meets her face. He pouts cutely and pokes her belly.

"She is a girl, right?" He asks, still in his girly voice.

"How could I know?" Nayeon asks back.

"Let it be a girl, please God" Luhan talks loudly with his eyes closed, looks like a praying little boy in Nayeon's eyes. She is overdose with his adorable and lovable reaction.

"It's a baby girl" Luhan states after he opens his eye, then placing a kiss on her belly.

"Baby girl" He cheers and kisses her belly again. Luhan hopes the baby could hear and childishly wishes the baby will changed its gender if it was a boy. Luhan and his little obsession.

"Baby girl" He insists and places the last long kiss on her belly, transferring his love to the baby, so the baby will take on his side, and become a baby girl.

"What if the baby is boy?" Nayeon teases Luhan and she immediately gets a glare from Luhan.

"The baby is a girl" Luhan grits his teeth cutely as he cringes his face to Nayeon. She just laughs softly at him and at his childishness. Her heart starts fluttering as she watches him talk to the baby, full with enthusiastic. She doesn't know what she has done in her past life to get this blessings. Now she lives in her dream where miracles and magical things happen, she feels complete.
