The Gown

The time is ticking. Day is changing. A new month is coming. Both Luhan and Nayeon feel really excited to welcome the next month. It was decided, their wedding will be held next month. That decision was made when Luhan's parents met Nayeon's parents in China, on the party.

It was unexpected that Nayeon's step father was the kind man who helped Luhan's father company along time ago. It was written in their book of life, Luhan and Nayeon will meet eventually. People called it destiny.

Luhan and Nayeon's wedding is a big news for the journalists. Luhan is a famous young business man in Korea and also his father is a famous one in China along with Nayeon's step father. Everybody wants to know their love story, everybody wants to know more about Nayeon. That's why these days Nayeon always stay at their apartment, she always followed by the journalists and sometimes it brings her a headache.

Today Nayeon really needs to leave the apartment, she has an appointment with Lufei. They promise to find a nice gift for Mrs. Lu, her birthday is coming. The four of them: Luhan, Nayeon, Lufei, and Min will fly to China and celebrate Mrs. Lu's birthday.

After she dress nicely, she leaves the apartment, Lufei already waits in the lobby. As she takes the lift, she texts her beloved fiance 'I'm going to Taehwa with Fei jie, your mother's birthday is coming! Don't forget to have your lunch my busy baby'

Nayeon smiles softly to her phone as the lift stops and opens its door. Nayeon walks out and looks around. She sighs secretly when she sees reporters in disguise. They look like an ordinary neighbour but they can't hide their extraordinary camera. Nayeon increases her pace to the car infront of the lobby and immediately gets in to Lufei's car.

"I think you will be in the front page again this month" Lufei chuckles.

"It's uncomfortable, eventhough they snapped it prettily" Nayeon smiles widely. Last month, she was in the front page of gossip magazine, she became a trend and people starts talking about her fashion. Since that day she always everywhere inside the news site.

"Yeah, I bet my mom already save one from internet" Lufei giggles because she really knows that her mother obviously did that. Her mother really loves Nayeon, from what her father said, her mother was cursing on internet to Nayeon's haters.

"Believe it or not, I used their picture for my phone wallpaper" Nayeon bursts into laughter as she tells her silliness.

As Nayeon told that, Lufei laughs really hard with them. Lufei really understand why Luhan falls for her. She is so loveable, people easily fall for her because she puts no mask on her face, she is pure. That's the reason why Lufei believes that her brother will fall for Nayeon over and over again.

Lufei and Nayeon already got the gift for Mrs. Lu. It's a classic ring with a diamond on its center. Now they both looks around the department store, Nayeon does windows shopping while Lufei does some monitoring to the department store. The workers smile and bow politely as always.

Nayeon often checks her phone because she got no text back from Luhan. She's a little bit upset eventhough she knows that her fiance is busy. She pouts slightly and puts back her phone. When she starts her window shopping again, she feels strong arms around her waist. The scent that she loves the most is lingering, sweet smile was formed on her lips.

"I find you, finally" Luhan whispers and Nayeon immediately turns around to see his face.

"Luhan" She giggles softly to him, she feels so happy just because he was there with her. She always misses him.

"Got the gift?" Luhan asks and Nayeon nods. Then suddenly Lufei clears her throat and Luhan turns his face to his sister.

"Hello" Luhan waves and smiles. He forgets about his sister because when the first time he saw Nayeon, he forgets everything.

"What are you doing here?" Lufei asks.

"Me? I'm searching for my fiance" Luhan smiles softly as he pulls Nayeon closer to his embrace.

"Now, because we got the gift, can I take her?" Luhan asks Lufei and winks to her.

"Han, really, I rarely meet her, did you want to take her from me?" Lufei frowns playfully and Luhan laughs.

"Jie, she's my fiance, I feel greedy to be with her" Luhan smiles lovingly to Nayeon and it makes Lufei's heart warm. She loves the way Luhan smiling to Nayeon, the way his eyes look straight to Nayeon's eyes, so heart-warming.

"What a greedy little brother" Lufei chuckles as she ruffles Luhan's hair. Luhan slaps Lufei's hand softly, he hates it when Lufei treats him like a little kid. He is a grown man.

"Don't do that" Luhan frowns to Lufei when he hears Nayeon's giggle.

"I get it" Lufei talks cutely to Luhan as she pinches Luhan's cheek.

"Jieeee" Luhan whines but Lufei just waves to Nayeon.

"Bye Yeon-ah" Lufei says goodbye just to Nayeon, for Luhan, she just gives a duck face.

"You two really are cute" Nayeon giggles. Luhan looks down at Nayeon and frowns.

"I hate it, I'm not a five years old boy, but she always treats me like one" Luhan turns his frown into a pout.

"You're not five years old, you're just two" Nayeon smiles as she teases him. Luhan narrows his eyes to Nayeon and smirks.

"Yeah, this two years old boy could make you screaming, baby" Luhan whispers sexily and it easily turns her on. She blushes and she feels wet below. But she holds it and stares at Luhan.

"Everybody is watching, better go" Nayeon gives him a look. Right, the workers near them already watching their lovey dovey moment.

"Alright" Luhan smirks and places a naughty kiss on her plum lips. All she did is chuckling, she likes this kind of affection, Luhan marks her as his, he shows his possessiveness infront of everybody, like he was saying she is mine, don't touch her.

Luhan brings Nayeon to the restaurant near the department store since Luhan had no lunch. They talk about the gift for Mrs. Lu as they wait for the food. But suddenly Luhan went silent and his eyes look straight to the table infront of theirs.

"Look" Luhan speaks as his eyes spark. Nayeon turns around to follow his sight and smiles immediately when she finds out. Luhan is looking at an adorable baby girl on the other table. She was on her mother's arm, moving her little hands freely.

"That's a baby girl, so adorable" Luhan grins at Nayeon after she looks at him.

"I want one" Luhan whines to Nayeon and she chuckles at his cuteness.

"Just wait" Nayeon talks softly to him, she knows she will get pregnant soon since she stops consuming the after sex pill.

"I can't wait anymore, we need to make her tonight" Luhan sticks his tongue out playfully. Nayeon's eyes widen in a cute manner and she slaps Luhan's hand.

"You-----"

"Wait here" Suddenly Luhan cuts her. He stands up and walks to that table. Luhan talks to the mother and Nayeon watches the mother handing her baby to Luhan.

It's so fascinating, the look on Luhan's face when he holds that baby girl. He looks like the happiest person alive, Nayeon couldn't imagine how happy he will be when he holds their baby girl for the first time. Nayeon unconsciously smiles, she touches her tummy and strokes it softly.

"Come faster, our baby" Nayeon whispers softly.

She can't wait to see Luhan fanboying over their baby girl. She can't wait to see Luhan playing with their baby girl. She can't wait to see Luhan teaching their baby girl to walk and to talk. She can't wait to see their baby girl growing up into a nice kid. She can not wait.

Time passes really quick. It's two weeks away from the wedding and everybody is in China. After they arrived in China, Nayeon immediately gets some rest. She feels so tired and weak because of the busy schedule. Tomorrow she has an appointment to re-fitting her bridal gown before she joins the family for a birthday dinner.

The stress comes easily as the wedding day approaches. She flew back and forth from Korea to China for the wedding preparation. Their wedding will be held in China, Nayeon wanted a simple wedding party but Luhan's mother insisted a spectacular one. That's why she got the stress, they need to prepare a lot of things perfectly but they just have a little time.

In the other hand, Luhan is watching his mother play with Min. Lufei is sitting beside him, talking to their father. Luhan feels tired as well but he can handle it. He can say that he enjoys the processes. The processes into a new step of his life, the step that he waits the most, because start from this step he doesn't need to walk alone anymore, he has someone special to face the world. Now he fears nothing because Nayeon always there, in every step he takes.

Nayeon is struggling with the gown and her face turns dark. The worker who helped her putting on the gown has the same expression with her. They can't zip the gown, the zipper stucks in the middle.

Right now Nayeon has teary eyes. Two months ago, that gown fitted perfectly on her body but today, it feels like a disaster for her, it doesn't fit on her body anymore. She completely knows, all is her fault. She ate a lot because of the stress, it leads her to gain weight.

Now the worker gives up, she shrugs and sighs really hard. Nayeon frowns and stares at the worker, her eyes plead but the worker just shakes her head slightly.

"Lose weight" The worker talks in the local language. Eventhough Nayeon didn't know the meaning but she knows that worker asking her to fix her weight.

In the other hand, Luhan already on his suit, looking like the best groom in the world. He stands infront of Nayeon's changing room, can't wait to see Nayeon in her wedding gown. But his eyes widen when he sees her walking out with her red casual dress.

"Babe, I want to ask you something" Nayeon immediately talks as she holds onto Luhan's arms. Luhan raises his brows in confused because Nayeon looks so serious.

"What?" Luhan asks.

"Did I look fat?" Nayeon asks with a dark face. Luhan immediately stares at her, he actually realizes the change of her body, she did get some weight, her cheeks looks chubbier than ever.

"Hmmm----"

"Honestly, please" Nayeon cuts Luhan before he could say a word.

"Hmm, honestly, hmm, yes" Luhan smiles awkwardly because it's really a sensitive topic for girls. And right, when Luhan sees Nayeon breathing heavily, he regrets his honest answer.

"I hate you" Nayeon frowns and throws her face away.

"You asked me to answer honestly babe-----"

"Whatever" Nayeon crosses her hands infront of her chest and walks to his car. Luhan just blinks his eyes in disbelief. Girl always be girl, asking her boy to say an honest answer but then mad at the boy because he speaks the unwanted truth.

"What happened?" Luhan asks the worker who helped Nayeon.

"We can't zip the gown, looks like she gains some weight, I suggested her to lose some" The worker talks and Luhan understands now. Luhan didn't mind Nayeon's weight but she did. She looks so upset about it.

"We will come again next week" Luhan talks and leaves to change his suit.

After that he walks out, approaching Nayeon who looks so pissed. He stops in the middle to think about what he should say. He can't say something offensive to her, he doesn't want to hurt her.

"What are you doing there?! I want to go home, come quickly!" Suddenly Nayeon yells to Luhan. He is really shocked from the sudden high pitch tone, until all he did is running to his car and opening the door for her.

When Luhan gets inside, Nayeon still looks mad. Her lips form a thin line that he hates the most. He starts thinking about this childish side of her, sometimes it's really annoying.

"Yeon-ah, don't mad at me, I said that because you asked me the honest answer" Luhan explains and immediately Nayeon glares at him.

"Who won't be mad? You said that I'm a fat girl" Nayeon breathes heavily.

"Who said that? I never said that" Luhan defenses himself.

"You agreed when I asked you if I was fat" Nayeon lowers her tone as she starts sobbing. She doesn't know what's going on with her. Her mood is a mess today.

"Hey, hey-----"

"What should I do? That gown fitted perfectly on my body two months ago, but what now? The ziper stucked in the middle, Luhan help me" Nayeon cries like a little kid and Luhan starts smiling. If Nayeon starts crying, it means she is sulking for reconciliation.

"Why did you smile? Are you happy?" Nayeon sobs and Luhan finds it adorable. Softly he pulls her into his embrace and strokes her back.

"You're still the most beautiful girl in my eyes baby" Luhan whispers and his words flutter Nayeon's heart. That second, she stops crying and starts hugging him back.

"But you need to go on diet for the wedding" Luhan continues and Nayeon pulls away from his embrace. She looks at Luhan and frowns.

"You said I'm still the most beautiful gi------"

Before Nayeon could yell at him more, he presses his lips onto hers. It went silent immediately. Luhan smiles on her lips before he starts kissing her passionately. Who will not fall for his affection? That's inside Nayeon's head. Luhan always turns her bad mood into a good one with his little kind of affection.

After a while, Luhan breaks the kiss and stares into Nayeon's eyes. He smiles at her because she is still holding her smile, she plays hard to get.

'What a stubborn girl' Luhan thinks as he chuckles at her.

"Hear me babe, it's your choice now, if you want to wear that gown, lose some weight, if you didn't want to lose some weight, we can get a new gown, you will slay any gown" Luhan smiles softly as he reaches out his hand to hold hers.

"I don't mind if you gain weight, you always looks fine for me, I just love the way you're honey" Luhan strokes the back of Nayeon's hand. The gentle touch of him easily breaks down her stubborness, she gives Luhan her best smile and she intertwins their hand.

"How can I ask for more? You're everything I've been looking for, Luhan" Nayeon whispers softly as she stares deep into Luhan's eyes. A sweet smile appears on Luhan's face as he rests his forehead on Nayeon's forehead, their nose touches, they can feel each other's warm breath.

"Here" Luhan takes her hand to touch his chest, feeling the heart beat of him.

"It's you, you're my heart, the one who keeps me alive" Luhan smiles softly to Nayeon. It's true, Nayeon keeps him alive just like his heart. Through ups and downs, she always there for him, she never tries to leave him. Without her, he is a heartless. Without her, he has no life.
