The Date

Author's POV

Lufei furrows her brows as her phone rings. Her father is calling her in the middle of the night. It must be something really important but it makes her wonder what. Her parents never call her this past month.

"Hello"

"Fei, I heard Luhan has a fiance" Her father is right into the topic. Lufei a little bit surprise that news already on their parents' ears.

"Yes, his fiance is a nice girl, I know her" Lufei talks but her father sighs.

"I knew it" Her father mumbles as he confirms his prediction. He kept his eyes on Yoo Eunha when she talked, the glint of her eyes show her sly side.

"What did you mean dad?" Lufei asks. She is so sleepy before but she is not now.

"A girl came to me and your mom, she told us that Luhan's fiance is a poor girl with a criminal father" Lufei's jaw drops as she hears her father's explaination.

"Dad, can I know her name?" Lufei talks with a calm tone eventhough she already has one name inside her mind.

"Yoo Eunha" Lufei just sighs really hard when her father reveals it.

She knows, it must be Luhan's crazy stalker. Later Lufei knows that crazy stalker of him is the daughter of Yoo Inna. She hates that family to the root of her heart. That Yoo family is hurting Nayeon, which means they are hurting Luhan.

"But Fei, it wasn't true right? That girl's words?" Her father cuts Lufei's thought.

"Dad, I know you are an open minded, and please keep being like that, I will tell you the truth" Lufei talks.

"All I know is, yes, Luhan's fiance is a poor but it's all because her parents left her alone, and yes, her father is a criminal but Nayeon is not a criminal, she was being used by her father, oh my God, dad, can we just meet and talk about this?" Lufei feels her head spinning around.

"Don't worry, me and your mom will fly to Korea this weekend, you know your mom, right? Yoo Eunha's words immediately set your mom on fire" Her father talks. Lufei giggles softly.

"Yeah" Lufei answers shortly. She misses her parents but it must be a little bit awkward. This time she knows, their parents will meet Luhan. It must be not easy for Luhan. All this time, he hardly forgives his parents' mistake.

"Fei, I really want Luhan to be happy, I don't mind if his fiance is a poor, like you now, your mother was a poor too when I married her, what matter is she loves Luhan" Her father talks softly.

"It's already late Fei, goodnight and sorry" He talks and ends the phone call. Lufei smiles softly as she hears his apologize. Her father always apologizes to her in the end of their talk. He feels sorry for making Lufei's life like this. He doesn't want this to happen to Luhan.

Luhan helps Nayeon to get in to his car and after that he walks to his side and join in. Today Nayeon is going home. Luhan is really happy. He already takes a day off from office so he could spend it with Nayeon.

"We're going on a date" Luhan talks cutely to Nayeon after he buckles her and his own seatbelt. Nayeon blinks her eyes at Luhan continuously.

"Don't you have work to do?" Nayeon asks but Luhan just giggles.

"I take a day off baby" Luhan smiles as he pinches Nayeon's cheek.

"You should know how hard I got that permission from Suho, he keeps whining and cursing at me" Luhan continues and Nayeon hits him playfully.

"You're so rude, you always make him suffer" Nayeon talks softly as she strokes Luhan's arm.

"Hmm, but I want to be with you----" Luhan pouts to Nayeon and leans closer.

"---my fiance" Luhan whispers and pecks Nayeon's lips gently. Nayeon just giggles and nods to him. She really wants it too, she misses him so bad.

Luhan and Nayeon sits on the ground as they stare at Han river. Luhan takes out a can of beer and juice. He gives Nayeon the juice and she frowns.

"Your beer looks more tasty than this" Nayeon cutely says it to Luhan.

"Hm, it's a lot better than yours but you're still recovering" Luhan smiles and ruffles Nayeon's hair. He takes a sip of his beer and closes his eyes in satisfied.

"Looks so tasty" Nayeon frowns and drinks her juice in silent.

"Yeon-ah" Suddenly Luhan calls her. She turns her face to him and she finds him tapping his shoulder for her. Nayeon just smiles shyly and rests her head on his broad shoulder.

"You know what---" Luhan starts talking as he stares into the calm river.

"---when the first time I moved here, I became a drama maniac and I always want to spend a date like this" Luhan continues and Nayeon chuckles. She finds it cute.

"But I think I will never able to do something like this. I was so childish back then so I think no woman wants to make a serious relationship with me, just remember about our first meeting, I was threatening and asking something nonsense to you, right? That was really immature" Luhan speaks and chuckles with Nayeon. It's still fresh inside their mind.

"But I was the one who threatening you first, we were immature and maybe that's the reason we can connect with each other" Nayeon starts hugging Luhan's arm with her free hand.

"Yeah, maybe, but I feel blessed because you were threatening me that time. If you were not, then maybe I couldn't have a date here like in the drama, thank you for threatening me" Luhan raises his tone playfully for the last sentence.

Nayeon chuckles and stares at Luhan as she rests her chin on his shoulder. She keeps staring and smiles softly, never in her life she feels this happy, never in her life she feels so complete.

"Start from this moment, let's have a lot of dates like in the drama, I will go wherever you go" Nayeon whispers and kisses Luhan's cheek.

Luhan turns his face and looks into her eyes. He loves it how her eyes reflect his reflection. He would love to find his reflection there, over and over again. He would love to fall into her pretty eyes, over and over again.

"You promise me?" Luhan whispers to Nayeon with eyes of a gentleman.

"I promise" Nayeon smiles and closes her eyes when she finds Luhan leaning his face to hers.

Luhan gives Nayeon a kiss on her lips which is gentle and soft. He nibbles on her lower lips slowly to make her feel safe. He really holds his hunger of her lips, he wants to treat her gently. He wants to show her his affection.

"Cheers!" Luhan and Nayeon sings in sync as they toast their drinks. They take a sip and giggle together. They already talk about so many things. Start from their silly childhood story until their first love. Luhan told her that he had his first love when he was 12. Nayeon told him that she had no first love.

"So I'm your first love, right?" Luhan giggles like a kid and his eyes turn into a crescent moon shape. Nayeon really loves his eye smile, it really looks adorable.

"You can say like that" Nayeon blushes a little bit. It's kinda embarrassing because it sounds like no one ever like her.

"Ah, I feel so great right now, really" Luhan can't hide his happiness as he wraps his arms around Nayeon. He is the first one, everybody loves to be the first.

"But I'm not your first love" Nayeon pouts to Luhan. A light chuckle leaves Luhan's lips.

"Yes, but you're the last love in my life" Luhan smiles softly and pecks Nayeon's cheek. It of course flutters Nayeon's heart. Who won't melt?

"Really?" Nayeon asks between her wide smile.

"Yes, for this time, but when we have our kids, there will be another love in my life" Luhan answers without hesitation. Nayeon feels her stomach flip because of this talk. It's fluttering, Luhan already thought about their future. He already gives his thought about having kids.

"I can't wait to hold them in my arms" Luhan talks as he breaks the hug. He hangs his arm in the air, pretends like he holds an imaginary baby.

"Look, they must be this little" Luhan laughs as he gestures his arms to Nayeon.

"What are you doing Luhan?" Nayeon laughs with him. She thinks her fiance is going nuts because he wants a baby so bad.

"I'm holding our baby" Luhan winks at Nayeon and she slaps his arm.

"Stop it already, you scare me" Nayeon chuckles and Luhan joins her. He stops his role and starts hugging Nayeon again. He knows he look like crazy. It's all because he starts reading a paternity book.

"I want a baby girl" Luhan smiles and tighten the hug. It gives Nayeon goosebumps.

"Stop it, it's really scare me Luhan, you talk like I already carry one" Nayeon talks in panic. She turns her face and finds him smiling so wide.

"I'm just talking about my dreams, so you will make it come true" Luhan caresses Nayeon's arm and smiles.

"I want to have kid as soon as we get married" Luhan keeps bringing up the topic.

"Okay, I will make it come true" Nayeon really wants to avoid this topic because it could cause an awkwardness but he insisted.

"Really? I want a baby girl first" Luhan giggles but Nayeon glares at him.

"Ask God, don't ask me, I have no control" Nayeon crings her face. Luhan just chuckles at how adorable his fiance's face turns pink.

"But did you know? To have a kid, either a girl or a boy, we need to do something" Luhan bites his lips and Nayeon pinches Luhan's cheek hard.

"Do you always this pervert, honey?" Nayeon asks him sweetly.

"You know me more than anyone else, you don't need to ask darling" Luhan moves his face closer to her.

"We can't do that, I'm still recovering" Nayeon whispers softly as she snuggles into his nape. She breathes on his neck purposely. She really likes to tease him.

"Yeah, but you're the one who try to turn me on" Luhan talks lowly as he grabs her shoulder. He moves her face away from his neck and glares at giggling Nayeon.

"Naughty girl" Luhan frowns and it makes her giggling louder.

Luhan really adores this side of her. She always brings smile to his face, before, he barely smiles. Now everything has changed. She makes his life brighter. She makes his heart warmer.

"I'm happy with you, thank you for bringing happiness into my life, Jang Nayeon"
