Camila sighs deeply, wishing that the girl had told her something different.

"But they gave me my phone back, to get used to life again or something, Ron said." Lauren continues.

"Who's Ron?"

"My Therapist."

"Ah." Camila nods. "So when are you allowed to have visitors? And when can you leave?"

Lauren sighs. "In about a month I can leave, hopefully, when all the bad thoughts leave my head."

"What bad thoughts?"

Another silence fills Camila's ear and she grows worried. "Lo?"

"Well because of the drug use and stuff, i've had some psychosic attacks here in the centre." Lauren tells her. "And they were quite bad Camz.." She sighs. "I tried to kill myself.. twice."

Camila feels how tears fill her eyes again and Dinah looks down at her hands before getting off the bed, giving the two girls some space. "Oh my god.." Camila breathes out, her breath quivering.

"I- I don't really remember it that well." Lauren explains. "I do remember that I stole some pills out of the meds cart and took all of them at the same time. I thought they wanted to torture me here somehow. That was what my mind was telling me. Of course it wasn't true, but I thought they wanted to torture me and that they were torturing everyone I loved as well, including you. I thought it was the only solution but my mind was playing tricks and it wasn't true."

Camila feels tears running down her face as she tries holding the phone to her ear with her trembling hands.

"That was the first time." Lauren continues. "And the second time I- I climbed out of the kitchen window and tried jumping off the building but they stopped me in time." She explains. "I thought there were monsters chasing me somehow. It was the psychosis, it made me hallucinate and feel the scariest emotions."

"My god, Lauren.." Camila breaths out as she wipes some tears away. "I'm so sorry that that had to happen to you."

Lauren was quiet for a little while before speaking up again with an even softer voice this time. "I kinda did it to myself."

"You were sick."

"I still am, that's why I can't leave." She replies. "I have these terrifying dreams Camz.. I barely sleep.."

"Oh Lauren.." Camila breathes out. "I wish I could help."

She hears how Lauren clears her throat and composes herself and she wonders how she looks at the moment. "Can- can you keep the phone from now on?" She hears herself ask.

"Yeah."

"That's.. nice. Right?"

"Very." Lauren replies. "And I can have visitors next Friday."

"It's Saturday now, that's still so far away." Camila sighs dramatically.

"I mean, nothing we can't handle Camzi."

Camila giggles when hearing the nickname she hadn't heard in such a long time. "I know.." She whispers, her voice failing on her as she's still crying. "I just miss you, you know."

Lauren takes a deep breath. "I miss you too."

The sound of a door opening fills Camila's ear then and she wonders who'd walked into Lauren's room. "Hey Lauski." She hears someone say before Lauren chuckles and replies: "Yo Ty, whats up?"

"They told me to pick you up for dinner." The guy replies. He has this deep voice and a certain vibe to it.

"Ill be right down."

"Hmm."

The door closes and Lauren clears her throat. "I have to go in a bit, babe."

A smile creeps onto Camila's face once more. "Babe." She repeats. "You have no idea how much I love that."

"You have no idea how much Io-"

"Shhh, no!" Camila interrupts the girl. "This is not the way and time to say that."

Lauren giggles before replying. "Fine, I was going to tell you how much I loooove the food here but, whatever."

"Yeah sure, tell yourself that."

Lauren laughs before sighing again. "I gotta go now though. Will you and I text tonight? Please, please, please?"

"Oh my god, Yes I- wait I do have a party I have to go to with Dinah but I'll- I'll try to text in between?"

"Sounds good to me." Lauren replies, and Camila once again hears that the girl is smiling. "And I will see you next week then, right?"

"YES!" Camila loudly says into the phone, probably making Lauren half deaf.

"YES!" Lauren replies however, laughing at the same time. "Talk to you soon Camz, it was great to hear your voice."

"It was great to hear yours as well Lolo. Talk to you soon, enjoy your great meal."

"Byeeee.."

"Bye."
