Chapter 36

*2 Weeks later*

"Erik can you get this last box?"

"Of course I can Mrs. Lensherr. " Erik has been calling you that ever since the wedding but hey you weren't complaining.

You and Erik had purchased a house a week ago on the outskirts of the city. You were only 30 minutes from your family and friends in the city and 30 minutes away from Charles' mansion. It was the perfect place.

The house had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths along with the essential kitchen, living room,dining room and laundry room.

It was perfect and it was a lovely shade of blue. You and Erik had almost everything set up except for some clothes that needed to be put away. Raven and Nancy insisted on having a house warming party for you and Erik tonight so you two were in a bit of a rush to get everything in order.

Around 5 o'clock you went to shower and get ready since they would be there by 6. You picked a dark grey dress that stopped above your knees. The skirt of the dress was pleated. You loved it and so did Erik.

You were in the room when the doorbell rang and Erik left to go let them inside. He came back in the door and hugged you from behind.

"I don't know what it is Ana but you are absolutely glowing. " you blushed at his words and turned to kiss him.

"Come on." you said grabbing his hand to pull him out the room.

The guys didnt want to hear girl talk so they left the dining room to go watch some tv in the living room. You caught Nancy and Charles stealing glances and smiling at each other.

"Oh my God Nance." you gushed cause her head to snap in your direction.

"You and Charles totally have a thing going on." you whispered so only she and Raven could hear.

"You didn't tell her yet?" Raven asked Nancy.

You gasped "You knew? Why didn't you tell me Nancy? "

She sighed heavily, "You were so busy with the wedding then the honeymoon then moving in I didn't want to bother you."

"Wait, how long has this been going on?"

"He came to my house the day before you left for Italy and told me about everything and we kinda hit it off. He's such a sweetheart Ana. I really like him."

You grinned widely "Aww Nancy I'm so happy for you." you leaned over and pulled her into a tight hug.

An hour later dinner was done and everyone was the dinner table enjoying their meal.

You suddenly felt sick to your stomach, you pushed your chair back, got up and ran to the nearest bathroom. You leaned over and vomited in the toilet.

Erik was in the room two seconds later.

He placed his hand on your back and rubbed circles. "Ana, love, what's wrong?"

You shrugged and wiped your mouth with tissue. "I dont know I just got nauseous all of the sudden."

"Baby? When was your last period?" he asked concerned.

"Last month." you gasped. "Oh my God Erik, I'm late. My period is late." he helped you off the floor and brought you to sit down in the living room. He left and returned a few minutes later with everybody behind him and a glass of cold water for you.

"Ana I'm going to the store to buy a pregnancy test I'll be right back." he kissed your forehead and left.

The minutes while Erik was gone were filled with questions.

When Erik returned you went into the bathroom and did what the test instructed. The box said it would take about 5 minutes for the results so you and everyone else waited anxiously attempting small talk.

When the time was up you picked up the kit and read the determination before showing it to Erik.

His expression was unreadable. You didnt know how to react to his reaction.
