Chapter 21

Eriks P.O.V

"Thank God!" I said aloud after hanging up the phone. I was afraid Ana wouldn't call and I would have to get on my hands and knees to beg for forgiveness. I knew that might scare her so I gave some time to decide to call. I left my apartment and took the elevator down to the lobby to head to my car. I saw two men in all black get into a black truck and speed away.

It was weird but I was in too good of a mood to care. I got to the dinner and waited for Ana.

30 minutes turned into an hour which turned into two.

I was furious. She stood me up.

I shook my head. Ana wouldn't do something like that she's too kind. I headed to the nearest phone and called her but she didn't answer.

Ok. Maybe she isnt home. Where is she?

I decided to head to her house. I hopped in my car and rode off. Luckily she didn't live too far. A block down the road I saw cop cars surrounding a single car. I moved closer and saw a recked car but no ambulance. Strange.

I slammed on the brakes. That was Raven's car. I recognized that bumper sticker. I parked the car and and ran over to the scene.

"Excuse me. Where did the ambulance take the victims? And where's the other car?" I asked the nearest officer.

He turned to me. "The other car fled. When we arrived the car was empty. Possible kidnapping. " he turned back and focused on the car. I looked closer and saw Ana's bag in the passanger seat.

"Dammit." I cursed silently. I looked at the impact site and noticed chips of black paint. The impact was fairly high it had to be a tall car.

Then it hit me. The men in black in the black truck.

My fists closed tightly and my teeth clenched. Whoever they are they have my girl.

I need help and I know just where to go. I turned around entered my car pulled a U-turn and sped off.
