Chapter 19

For the next few hours Charles keeps you company trying make you think about all of the positive things about being with Erik.

For the most part it worked. You craved to be with Erik and have him hold you.

But once or twice Charles accidentally let you mind remember what hospitalized you and you would shudder and cry.

Eventually the doctor said you were able to go home and Charles called Hank in who was apparently waiting in the lobby.

You briefly remembered Hank from your visit to Charles' house.

He was very nice from what you could remember.

Hank pulled the car around and once you finished with a few papers you hopped in and Hank took you to your apartment and walked you to the door.

"I'm really glad you're okay Ana." Hank said following you inside.

"Thanks Hank. Thanks for coming to check on me and for giving me a ride home."

He nodded before continuing to speak. "I dont know Erik as well as Charles does but I know he really loves you. I think you should give him a chance to prove he wont do it again."

"But I'm scared Hank. What if he does it again?  It could be worse this time." you said truthfully

He shook his head. "You didn't see his face when he thought he lost you. I've seen people lose their whole entire family and not look as distraught as him. Trust me. He wont do anything to put you in danger again. I mean it." You nodded and hugged him

"Thank you Hank. You and Charles must have me over again." he smiled and nodded before leaving your apartment.

You looked around and noticed a note on the table.

Dear Ana,

I dont know if you'll ever forgive me but I hope you do. I regret every second since me and Raven kissed. Every milisecond after that was pure agony. But you must know that, that agony was nothing compared to what I did to you that night. My heart hurts at the thought. I just wished I would have stayed away from you the first night that I saw you. Now I'm afraid I can never stay away. I dont want you to fear me. I just want you to love me like you promised to always do. Thats all I ask. And I hope you like your clean house. I didn't want any remains lying around.

You placed the letter back down knowing what you had to do.

You picked up the phone and called Erik he answered on the third ring.

"Ana?" he asked

"How did you know it was me?"

"I just hoped." you could hear the smile in his voice.

"I've missed you." you admitted.

"Oh Analise. I've missed you too."

"Do you wanna go for some lunch?  I haven't eaten all day."

You can tell he was smiling again. "That sounds great I'll meet you at the dinner on your street in 20 minutes. I love you."

"I love you too." you replied before hanging up.

15 minutes later your were all freshened up and ready to go.

You grabbed your bag and keys and opened the door to see Raven standing there.

A/N: DUN DUN DUN. I just love cliffhangers dont you? Anyway yes i know another update. Thats cause my crazy behind decided to watch paranormal activity the marked ones at 2am and couldnt sleep. So here's another chapter for you lovely people.
