Chapter 83

I kept waiting beside Haniya until I started to hear the gate open. I quickly got out of the door, excited to see him come home but all I see are cars going out hurriedly.

Jann, who is his guard, stands still by the door. Why is he the only one left here?

“Uhm, what’s happening? Why are they all leaving? Jungkook left with a car, should he be picked up by three cars?” 

“I’m sorry to inform you, miss, but..” 

I hurriedly ran around inside the hospital but the growing pain in my stomach made it harder to focus as I cried.

Just as I was about to enter a door where a nurse also hurriedly ran inside, it got locked to stop anyone.

They said Jungkook is inside there, critical. 

I shouldn't have let him go at that party.

Haniya hugged me to prevent me from banging the door. 

I start to clutch my stomach, screaming in pain as my vision blurs..

“Y/n!!”

I woke up and suddenly remembered Jungkook, I quickly looked around and needles were in my arm. 

“W-Where is he!” Haniya got up from her seat and immediately cried, hugging me.

“No.. no.. don’t say it..” I started crying and she shook her head.

I fought her to get out of the way as I tried to run but she held me still, “the baby is at risk, Y/n, don’t lose it too, please!” 

“I need him! Bring him here!” I shouted and pushed her off as the needles got plucked out of my veins but it’s him that I think about.

“Y/n, please!” Haniya begs following me as I ran with everyone watching until I felt liquid dripping down my thighs and the sight of it made my visions blurry again, I.. feel so weak..

“I.. love yo-..” 

“Operating room, now!” 

“Ma’am?!” 

“Y/n!!” 

Haniya’s POV

“Are you her guardian?” 

“Best friend, doctor.” I still felt hopeful that the baby is still okay with her but..

“I am very sorry, they.. both didn’t make it. Her heart just gave out in the middle of doing everything we can for the baby. My deepest condolences-” 

I fell down on the floor, staring blankly and everything went mute and slow around me. 

Nurses picked me up as the news still ring in my ear.

I’m staring blankly at two caskets. 

This isn’t how it was supposed to go.. I was still planning to buy baby clothes for my future godchild.

They were supposed to marry.. and I’m not supposed to be alone all over again. Y/n was all I had then Jungkook and then the baby. 

I looked to my far side and Jungkook’s twin also stared blankly at the distance.. 

May their souls find peace on the other side.. I hope to find her in my next life.

I’m sipping my coffee when one of my friends pointed to my index finger while I was sipping.

“I never never knew you had a scar on your finger.” 

I placed my cup down and looked at the scar as people walked behind us in this open cafe.

“I actually can’t think of a time in my childhood where I could possibly get this scar from, I was a very careful child.”

“Based on your helicopter mom, we know.” We all laughed. Very true.

Our other friend said, “You know, there’s some sort of myth behind that scar, particularly on the left hand, exactly on the index finger. They say your lover in your past life couldn’t forget about you.”

I snorted a laugh, “what can I say? It’s me we’re talkin’ about.” 

They laughed as I smirked, just then a dog came beside me and barked, making me squeal a little out of shock.

“Bam! That’s bad.” 

His owner came and got his dog while my girl friends stopped and stared at him and I looked back at him and he’s looking at me.

“I’m sorry for his behaviour, miss.” 

“Oh, it’s fine.” I chuckled and I thought it would end then and there.

“Uh, sir? What’s your name, our friend here could use a guy-”

“Lyn!!” I scolded her and they laughed.

“I’m Jeon Jungkook.” He smiles at me.

“Well her name is Y/f/n. Might we get your instagram?” 

I gave them a death stare but all of their eyes are on him. He showed them his phone and they got busy looking for his profile on their instagram.

“I’d actually look forward to our first date already, if it’s okay with you?” He jokes and they all squealed while I blushed.

He’s actually handsome as hell but this is all too sudden.

“She’s just stunned but that’s a yes for you. She’ll be there.” 

He smiles walking away with his dog while I look at them with hate.

“Hey, he might be the scar to your life, eh?” They teased me the whole day..
