Chapter 11

DRACO MALFOY

I STABBED MY  fork into the lamb shank anxiously. Sage wasn't here, everyone acted as if she wasn't needed, needed here. I needed her here. Why did everyone act as if she wasn't needed here? I needed her here. I took deep huffs as I slouched my back a bit. Millions seeming like trillions of thoughts raced my mind. She could be hurt, murdered. Wait- she could be in my dorm.

Fuck.

She could be looking through the box. The black box and the red one. The green one stands out more. She could be seeing that.

Fuck I'm so screwed.

Pansy, Blaise and Edelyn were talking their asses off. I felt annoyance rise. Why aren't they worried. They are her friends after all. I popped my head up quickly. "Where is Sage?" I asked."She should be talking to Harry and Ron I'm pretty sure..." Edelyn answered. Harry- what Harry and Ron? Why the fuck? Why the fuck is she talking to them. I'm the only man she should talk to aside from Blaise.

Most of the time I don't want her talking to Blaise either.

I bit the inside of my cheek. "Why's she talking to them?" I asked curiously. "Harry says some type of clothing has been sent to her. Somehow got lost" Edelyn continued. Lost? Clothing lost? "How'd it get lost?" I asked. "God Draco, it got lost obviously the dumb owl sent it to someone else." Edelyn said annoyed.

"Fix your tone I just asked a question" I responded. Edelyn rolled her eyes and went back to the topic they were talking about. Are they still not worried about her? I'm definitely the only one that cares about her. They don't care about her at all. Only me.

"Fuck" I groaned. I pulled the fork out of the shank and stabbed it again while my chin rested on top of the back of my palm. This position could get pretty uncomfortable. The bones, my chin is practically smashing them.

Where is she? What are they doing to her? I didn't pay attention to the door opening. I don't want to pay attention at all. To anyone right now. Only to Sage. I will give her all of my attention. That includes if she gives all of her attention to me.

"What are you thinking about?" A moody voice asked. I tilted my head looking up to Sage. She looked a bit in distress. "Nothing. Where were you?" I asked.

"For fucks sake Draco I told you she was with Harry and Ron" Edelyn snapped. I connected my eyes with her dark ones. "And I was just asking mind your business," I snapped back. Edelyn gave me a scowl and I did not hesitate to send her one back. To think I ever thought hooking up with her would do me any good.

"Now now, he probably was worried," Sage cut through. She took a seat resting her hands between her thighs. She was finally here.

With me.

Her hands suddenly held onto her stomach. As if she were sick. What did Harry and Ron do to her? What did they do?

"Are you alright?" I asked in concern. "No- no. I feel bad all of a sudden" She responded. I bit my lip. What the fuck did they do? "Really bad-" she began to say. "You should eat something," I interrupted. "No I'm not hungry" She said. "Well I can help you-"

"No- sometimes- Draco sometimes I don't need your help" She snapped. I felt as if a hole had been punched into my stomach. She doesn't want me? Why the fuck does she not want me? I do everything for her? I begin to say something back but she instantly gets up to leave. Edelyn looks at me as if I did something.

I didn't do anything.

I'm just trying to help what's mine.

"I'm gonna go to the hospital wing." She said tiredly. She just snapped at me and now she's going to leave? I just want to take care of her.

Only her just- why won't she let me take care of her?

She strolls past the tables heading for the door. There's no way I'm letting her leave. I begin to stand up but I feel a piercing pain in my lower leg. I hissed in pain. Edelyn looked at me with a serious face. "She's right. You're always following her around like a puppy. It's odd. Lay off of her for once" Edelyn snapped.

I begin to get angry with everything around me. Why is everyone so fucking pushy? "You don't even care about her and you're worried? Here's a suggestion fuck off!" I shouted. Pansy looked at me in shock. "Draco she's your friend-"

"Fuck her. I could care less what she is to me. She should mind the business that pays her." I snapped. Pansy shot up in anger. "Draco I really wouldn't-" before she could say anything else I left. I threw my bookbag over my shoulders and quickly made my way over to the door. "You know you're a git Malfoy!" Pansy yelled. I pushed the door open in anger. Fuck them fuck Edelyn fuck every-

I hissed in pain as nails dug into my forearm. I got yanked towards them as the pain grew. "What the fuck!" I snapped as I yanked my arm away from them. The door closed shut and it was pitch black. The only thing giving off light was the moon.

The person's breathing began to get heavy as they moved closer to me. "Following me again?"

Sage asked. Her smooth voice. "How many times Draco? I feel like someone is always following me. Are you following me?" She asked with a hint of anger in her voice.

No no no. She can't find this out she can't find anything out. "I mean at first it was kind of sexy but now it feels as if you're everywhere!" She shouted in anger. Her voice seemed as if she were tired. "No! I'm not following you I just followed you this time because you're ill-"

"Why are you following me this time?" She asked. "Because you're ill-"

"Fuck- fuck" she burried her forehead into her palm. "This is messing with my head." She said. She popped her head up to look at me. "Do you ever feel like someone is watching you? All the time. You have no privacy it's like they are always watching"

I always watch her.

I steal her privacy.

Because she's mine. Hell she should be grateful I am doing this for her.

"No- I felt that way when I was sixteen but that was before the war-" I was cut off. "Great. I feel like- dammit- I'm not sick. Sorry I thought- just don't even- forget this ever happened maybe?" She suggested.

Forget this ever happened? Wait- this is perfect. I dropped my eyes to the floor. "Sage I can help you." I said.

"Help me?" She asked. "How the hell are you supposed to help?" She snapped. "I can make sure you're safe. I can be...I can be like your bodyguard" I said. She bit her bottom lip and adjusted her posture. She stays quiet for a few minutes before saying anything else. "Will it take up your time?" She finally asked. I took two huffs from excitement.

Imagine all of the things we'd do. All of them.

"No. Not at all" I responded. "You know what I should just tell McGonagall" she interrupted. To hell she will. "No. Sage I'll do this for you. Who knows what that creep could do to you. Probably kidnap you or some shit"

She giggled. "No need to make me any more paranoid than I already am," She said. I let out a chuckle. "I promise I'll help you." I said.

"You promise?" She asked.

"Yes. I promise."

If you stop stalking me, Then I can think clearly Maybe I'll have peace of mind.

If you stop stalking me, Then I won't be talking to myself Maybe people won't call me crazy again.

If you stop stalking me, Then I can go to sleep Maybe I won't wake with you staring

If you stop stalking me,Then my doctor will know I'm saneMaybe I won't need my pills.

Once I was filled with life, Now all I cause is strife If I could be the same, Then I'll stop stalking you. Maybe I won't be so lame.
