Part 4 - Whoops

Brandon's POV:

I ran. I ran as fast as my little legs could take me. I can't look back. I WON'T look back.

The night progressed to day and I kept running.

I fell.

My knees gave way and I felt my balance unbalancing. Suddenly, Cam dived in underneath me and I fell into his warm embrace. It were as if everything were going in slow motion. I kept eye contact with him all throughout my fall, and once I landed, the whole world seemed to turn to an utter silence. I felt a pat on my back. Twice.

"There, there." Cam whispered to me.

I- I think I might've just fallen.
