Chapter 4

Shu's P.O.V.I don't want to remember. But I am. And it hurts.I am remembering back to when I first became a demon. It was one night, and I was walking home from Beyblade training in the park. Suddenly I heard a rustling noise behind me. I turned around, and there was a girl, all dressed in black, with wolf ears and a tail."W-who are you?" I asked, shivering with fear."That's none of your business," the girl smiled. "All that matters now is that I'm going to change you.""What do you m-" I began, but before I could finish, the wolf-girl jumped on me, and sank her sharp teeth into my neck. I screamed in pain.The girl leapt off me, and walked away, leaving me crying on the ground.The next day, I saw her again."Why did you bite me yesterday?" I growled, walking up to her."So you would turn into a wolf demon," she replied casually. "You'll turn completely into one in 2 days."You could've killed me," I persisted, anger boiling up inside me."Yeah, but I didn't," the girl replied coolly, walking away.I watched her go, getting angrier. I didn't want to be a wolf demon like her. I wanted to be normal.

I opened my eyes. I was standing in my bedroom. The memory had found its way into me again, and had took over my mind.I lay on my bed. I needed to take my mind off things. So I got up and ran down the the park, to practise Beyblading.But I was too late. Someone was already there.Valt."Hey, Shu!" he yelled, waving, Valtreyak in his hand."Oh, hi, Valt. I didn't expect to see you here," I replied, acting surprised to find Valt there."Wanna battle?" Valt asked. I blushed. I knew it was better if I stayed away from him, but maybe a battle wouldn't hurt..."Ok," I replied, and took Spryzen out of my pocket.We launched our beys, and watched as they spun around, hitting off eachother. Eventually, Spryzen burst Valtreyak."Aww, I really thought I was gonna win then," Valt said.I smiled. I only wished it could be like this every day...
