Until someone suddenly jumped out from behind a tree.

You screamed. Yeonjun almost dropped his coffee.

And there stood Beomgyu, grinning like he wasn’t a menace to society.

"BEOMGYU, WHAT THE HELL?!" you shouted.

Beomgyu shrugged. "I got bored."

Yeonjun groaned. "Do you not have a life?"

"Nope," Beomgyu said proudly, plopping down on the bench between you two.

You tried to scoot closer to Yeonjun—but Beomgyu blocked you.

"Sorry, lovebirds," he said, stretching his arms across the back of the bench. "No PDA today. I’m protecting the streets."

You stared at him. "…From what?"

"From Yeonjun being disgustingly in love."

Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "Okay, that’s it—"

He tried to shove Beomgyu off the bench, but Beomgyu clung to you dramatically.

"Y/N, SAVE ME!"

You sighed. "Beomgyu, get lost before Yeonjun actually kills you."

Beomgyu pouted. "Fine. But just know, if Yeonjun ever breaks your heart, I’m first in line."

Yeonjun threw his coffee cup at him.

And that was just another day of dating Yeonjun (+Beomgyu as a free gift).
