Part 8

23:29, 18 April 2023

George and Dream got back to George's apartment, "Stay please?" George looked up to Dream with hopeful eyes.

How could he say no? George was adorable to Dream. "Fine, but we have to do something fun to pass the time." Dream negotiated.

"We can... go to my room." George suggested.

"Oh really? How fun!" Dream teased sarcastically.

The pair went to George's room and sat on the bed. They both couldn't stop looking at each other. George knew he was in love. But he also knew that he couldn't be with Dream. Dream obviously didn't like him. He's straight and George couldn't change that.

"So do you want to borrow my clothes again?" George asked.

"Sure!"

Dream left the room to go and change and George laid down on his bed and relaxed as he waited for his best friend.

Dream finally changed and opened the door to reveal a very tired George, he leant against the doorframe. He gazed at George, mesmerised.

"Come Here Dream." George commanded

Dream closed the door behind him and walked over to the tired brunette. He sat beside him and got into the bed. Huddled next to George. The pair got comfy and turned on a movie on George's laptop. Dream had his arm around George and they both watched the movie silently.

There was a romantic kissing scene and George couldn't help but look at Dream. He was utterly in love and nothing would change it. He knew that he couldn't stop these feelings and at this point George gave up. That's it his feelings had won against him. He couldn't shut Dream out anymore. That's the thing about love; you can deny it all you want but if you've in love nothing will get in the way.

George wanted to feel Dreams lips on his again. He wanted the feeling of passion and love. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. Without thinking George blurted out, "Dream? Promise you'll never leave me."

Dream looked at George, "Of course, you really mean so much to me." Dream smiled and looked at George's eyes. George looked away quickly and the butterflies he had been given were strong. George really hoped Dream reciprocated.

George had an idea, "Hey, how do you feel about going on a walk tomorrow morning?"

"Sure!" Dream answered with a happy tone.

The brunette smiled and put his head on Dreams shoulder. They both turned their heads to continue watching the movie. Eventually it had ended and George was very tired. He yawned and Dream mocked him.

"Oi! Don't mock me!" George complained.

Dream laughed and hugged George tighter. He was so happy that he had George and he was so grateful for him.

"Want to lay down?" Dream asked.

"Yeah I don't mind but can I lie on your chest?" George asked with a hopeful glint in his eyes.

"Only because it's you." Dream answered. That gave George butterflies again.

Dream shifted his positioning and laid down on his back, as he did this George shuffled down and rested his head on Dreams chest. He had a tight grip on him and so did Dream. George was sleepy and closed his eyes. He soon fell asleep.

Dream started stroking George's fluffy hair with a gentle smile on his face. He was excited for the next day.

—————————————————————

George was woken up by Dreams loud snoring. He decided to wake him up. "BOO!" George yelled at the top of his lungs.

Dream jolted awake "AH- GEORGE DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT" Dream screamed.

George burst into laughter and he couldn't stop. Dream, a little annoying, couldn't help but laugh too.

"Let's go out for a walk now." George said.

They both got changed and put their shoes and coats on. They left George's apartment and went to the park for a walk. This is where they'd first met. George knew this place would be perfect.

They walked up the path and soon came across the hill they'd met on. "I remember meeting you here!" Dream chirped happily.

"Yeah that's one of my favourite days in my entire life!" George exclaimed.

Dream exchanged a flattered look with George.

They had reached the top of the hill and stood in the exact spot they'd met.

The pair looked at each other making consistent eye contact. George mustered up the courage to finally say something, "Dream. Kiss me." He demanded with confidence.

Dreams face lit up, his eyes widened, lip quivering with joy. His hand reached George's jaw line. He pulled George close, he leant in, and their lips had met. Dream had anticipated this moment for so long. George felt safe and content with Dream, he wanted this and he could tell Dream did too by the way he held him in his arms.

George opened his mouth slightly allowing Dream to move his tongue in and they both made out in the park holding each other close and tightly. They both pulled away and they couldn't stop smiling. The pair was overwhelmed with joy and relief. Dream rested his head on George's and looked into his eyes.

"George... I love you. I've loved you since we met. I know I've been to scared to admit it but I love you so much and if you want to date me I just want you to know that I'm all in. I want to be yours George." Dream made sure his words were perfectly clear.

George's eyes were filled with tears of happiness, "Dream- I love you too; more than you will ever know. I want you too, so badly. I've loved you since the day we met too but I thought you didn't reciprocate."

They both kissed again without hesitation and melted into each others arms. George pulled away, "I knew loving you was the best thing that has ever happened to me; I didn't care if loving you would make me bend until I break. You are worth that, I love you."

"I love you too, George."
