Chapter 11

My eyes slowly fluttered open, seeing the sun starting to inch out from behind the clouds. I turned over, meeting Steven's smiling face.He kissed my nose, and I giggled."Good morning my dear." He said quietly against my chest.I felt a blush spread to my cheeks. "Good morning back."Steven smirked, meeting my eyes. "Last night was-"I grabbed the sides of his face, and kissed him."Amazing." I finished for him.He laughed that cute, adorable laugh, sitting up, and looking around for our clothes.I grabbed my clothes, and pulled them on as did Steven. After we were both dressed, we just sat there for a moment: Steven on the blanket, me in between his legs, my head resting on his chest.He kissed my forehead, and sighed in content."I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else..with anyone else." I said, as Steven laughed."You read my mind."I bit my lip. "I'm quite smart."Steven slid his arms around my waist."I know you are.""Steven?""Lana?" He replied playfully."You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." I said, looking up into his beautiful chocolate eyes.Steven smiled softly. "You, baby, are the light of my life."I kissed him again. "We should get home."Steven pouted. "Can't we just stay?"I giggled. "We have to get back to reality sometime."Steven sighed, a smile playing at his lips. "Alright, let's go."Steven stood up, holding out his hand, me taking it.~~~"Call me later?" Steven asked, as I stepped out of his car, and flashing him a smile."Of course. I love you." "I love you too, Lana."

I walked up to my apartment door, smiling to myself, my stomach in butterflies.I opened the door, walked in, turned around, and closed the door.I walked into the living room, and stopped in my tracks.There was a man that looked unfamiliar sitting on my couch.I cleared my throat, despite my pounding heart.He looked up, and smiled."Oh my god."I let out a nervous laugh. "Um, hi. Who are you?" I asked, hand clutching my phone.The man stared down at his knees, a crazy smile on his face."Martin." He replied."Martin Skye?" I tried.The guy looked back up at me again, and his eyes started to fill with tears."My Lana, my beautiful Lana Rose."He stood up.I was in shock. "What are you doing here?""I've been looking everywhere for you. I can't believe I finally found you."He ran a hand through his hair roughly, taking a step toward me."Where have you been?!" I asked."Your mother..." He mumbled."Mom..is dead. Didn't you know??"Martin's face paled, and his eyes widened."No I didn't..what..no.." He mumbled to himself again."Um..Martin?"He looked from the ground back up to me, and his eyes turned from teary to crazy.Before I knew what was happening, I felt a fist connect with my cheek, and everything went black.~~~
