I walk into the lobby, where Vaggie and charlie happen to be this lovely afternoon.Vaggies face drops the moment she sees me, that mutual hatred I try so hard to swallow down.Regardless of the obvious hate she gives me.

"What the fuck are you doing here??" Vaggie questions.

"He apologized." Charlie cuts in. "Everyone deserves a second chance."

Charlies hand rests on vaggies back, not at all helping the tension.

"Do you plan on giving Lilith a second chance when she shows back up??"

"Of course."

I look at Charlotte, "wait what?"

"Who would I be if I didn't give her one?" Charlie asks.

"A sane individual. Dear I don't recommend that you welcome her in.."

"Why not..?" Vaggie asks.

"She wants Lucifer dead."

"Not goin' to happen." Husk walks in with Niffty on his shoulder. "Gonna have to go through all of us first."

"Yeah! I love Lulu!" Niffty giggles. "Ultimate bad boy~!"

"Speaking of which, where is the king- and angel dust." Vaggie questions.

"I saw them them leaving together." Niffty answers. "Dressed up. Luci had on a pretty top."

"What?" I cut in.

"Yeah, they left ages ago!"

I shake it off, walking away from the conversation.

As I step into my office and continue working, I can't seem to focus.
