I sit on the ground, my back against the bookshelf.What the hell was that..?

My head..

I slide my hand to the side of my head where it hit the shelf.Blood soaking my blonde hair.

"..fuck." Vaggie says from the doorway. "Sir are you okay??" She rushes toward me.

"I'm fine." I heal my head, yellow glowing from my hand. "All good."

"What did he do to you?"

"Nothing. It isn't his fault. He needs to be found though.. He got hurt and he's bleeding out. Badly."

"So? And since when did you care?"

"Since he's dying because he risked his life for my daughter. I was just trying to help him."

"Wait what?"

"I saw blood dripping on the ground when he returned, and he's still injured. It had to be from adam it's only gonna get worse."

"Shit. Charlies gonna freak out.." she helps me up off the ground, "I'll take care of it. Take it easy."

"Thank you. But I'm fine..we have to find him."

...

"He might've went to rosies.." charlie says, "she is his best friend.."

"You think?"

"Yeah..that's the only place i can think of."

"Okay, babe. Stay here we'll go." Vaggie responds, grabbing her spear.

"No. I'm going alone."

"But dad-"

"Let him go." Vaggie cuts her off, "Al looked like he was spiraling when he ran out. He felt bad."

"He'll be more willing to let me help but not if we all corner him."

Charlie nods, worried.

"I'll be back." I give her a hug before leaving the hotel.

...

I walk into cannibal town, many eyes on me with hungry looks.Eugh..

"Oh my Lucifer! It's Lucifer!" Someone yells.

The hungry cannibals scurry off, Rosie turning from her spot at the gazebo.

"Lucifer morningstar? Is that you?"

"Hi, Rosie."

She rushes over, leaning down and hugging me."What are 'ya doin here?"

"Uhm..I'm looking for Al."

"Oh? Well, I'm sorry, he ain't here. Is everything alright?"

"Not really. He was kind of spiraling and ran off. And he's bleeding out horribly."

"Oh my..well- he may have gone to the mountains. Beside the occasional body burial, no one ever goes there."

"Oh? Okay. I'm going to go then. Send someone to charlie if he turns up."

"You got it, bye bye now!"

I head out the town, toward the mountains.

I fly up, looking around for him.

"Alastor!" I yell, getting higher up.

As I look around I spot something red in a tree.

Landing by it, "Alastor?"

He's sat on a branch, his back against the tree trunk, slouching in pain.

Fucking idiot..

"Alastor..talk to me." I fly up, sitting on the branch in front of him.

"Just let me go, Lucifer." He whispers, not moving.

"I can't do that, Al." I scoot closer, cupping his face. His smile gone.. "Why are you fighting so hard. Let me help you."

"I don't deserve to be saved. Save your energy."

"Don't deserve..?"

"I'm dying because I failed."

"You're hurt because you risked your life. For Charlie. I mean come on..you knew Adam was way to strong for you. But you fought him anyways. Alone. If you wouldn't have..he wouldve attacked my daughter sooner and who knows if I would've made it in time. You kept her safe."

He pulls away from me, "go home."

"No. I'm not going anywhere until I've helped you. You helped my daughter. So it's my turn to help you."

He doesn't say anything, so I raise my hand to his chest, the glowing from my hands healing his wound.

"I'll leave you alone now."

I turn to get down, but he stops me, pulling me into a hug.

He doesn't do hugs.Charlie told me, when I moved in.As if I planned to give him hugs.

But..right now is an exception.
