Chapter Three: The Talk

Sophie's POV: "No."

That was the first thing that Grady said as I came inside for the "talk" he called me in for. "No, what?" I asked, super confused.

"No. You cannot like Keefe Sencen. That boy is... trouble. And I want you to stay away from him." He said.

He sounded like my dad. My dad. I missed my dad. And my mom. And my sister. I missed my family.

     "How is he trouble?" I asked.

     "Sophie, you just met him, you don't know what he's like. It's a wonder he hasn't been expelled from school yet."

     I rolled my eyes. "I'll try to keep that in mind," I said. "I have to get ready for school tomorrow."

    Luckily, that was the end of the "talk"
