What are Y'all thoughts on gnarly by katseye? I feel like the lyrics just fuck up the whole song. Otherwise I think the beat is cool and concept and choreo too tbh. If nct was to drop this they'd do numbers but that's because they know how to use their resources and make it sound good. Kinda like what they did with sticker. Gnarly is growing on me though.

A year later....
Everything had been absolutely amazing. Ni-ki and Hyeon ju have been in an amazing relationship for the past year now and he's the best thing that ever happened to her.
She decided to be the perfect wife material and clean up the house the good old fashioned way. She came across an old picture of her dad and a woman with a baby and a couple of other old pictures that she didnt know she carried from her parents house. She went over to Ni-ki to show him.
The laughter between them was easy, familiar—just like it had been since the first night they made it work. They sat close on the couch, her legs draped over his lap as they scrambled through the box, looking at an old family photo he had just found
"Wait, no way," she chuckled, pointing at the man in the picture. They turned the picture to he back and found a message.
I'm so sorry I had to leave you with our baby but it was a mistake to cheat on my wife. I'm so sorry please take care of our riki. Sincerely,Nishimura yomi.
Her voice trailed off as something cold slid down her spine. Ni-ki frowned, confused, following her gaze to the message.
"Thats an old pic of my mom holding me. I've seen this before but the man looks....different." he said noticing the change in expression on hyeon ju's face.
Hyeon ju's lips parted, but the words felt heavy. She swallowed hard, her heart picking up pace. "B-but that's a pic of my dad...with the maid we had when I was three." she whispered confusion filling her head.
His face shifted, confusion fading into something unreadable. "What?"
Hyeon ju grabbed her phone with shaky hands, pulling up a picture she had taken months ago at her grandmother's house — a potrait of her mother with her dad in the same setting. She turned the screen toward Ni-ki.
The color drained from his face.
"No," Ni-ki muttered, staring at the man in both photos—the same warm smile, the same piercing eyes. "That—no, that’s—"
"Your dad," she finished for him. Hyeon ju's voice was barely a breath, her stomach twisting violently.
Silence settled between them, thick and suffocating. The warmth of their shared touches, the soft intimacy of a moment ago, vanished like smoke.
His grip on her hand loosened. Her legs slowly slid off his lap. Neither moved, neither breathed, both caught in the horrifying realization that everything—everything—had just changed.
***************
It's been hard on both of them, so many questions filled in their heads and so many memories fading away like sand in one's hand. (Bars on bars )
Ni-ki took the next flight back to Japan the next day. The media caught on to everything before they could even drift away. Hyeon ju is alone in their Penthouse. All the memories seem to be nagging her more than the fact that her husband is actually her step brother.
She tried to confront her father and well—that didn't go well at all. It brought so many issues into her life. Ni-ki was nowhere to be seen or heard of. He just vanished —just like the kisses they shared, just like the nights they had—just like every little moment they had in each others arms, all gone.
He was gone, her world was gone, she was gone.
To him, he had to leave her. He didn't want to but he just needed to. He wanted to think and make the right decisions. Of course he loved her— he loved her with every bone in his body, every fibre in his being. He loved her more than the moon loved the sun that it took some of its light just to shine. He was the moon, she was the sun.
To him she was always shining—a bright person that he had so much of her light reflecting onto him and together they lit their skies. They lit the skies of the world they shared and everything around them.
But just as the sun once exploded millions of years ago to bring up the planets and solar system—their love exploded the same way just not to bring any beauty, instead, it burnt to ashes in such a short span of time before they could ever bloom.
They say the sun is to disintegrate when the world ends but the moon fell and the sun couldn’t shine its light—its light was no longer bright, just dull and hence dulled the whole world. That's why none of this could go any better.
He loved her, and she did too.

As you can already tell this is the final chapter. Idk if I should write an Epilogue bc I personally don't like sad ending books but this is actually the end. The Epilogue will be for those who want a happy ending so if u want I'll write it for ya.
It's been amazing writing this book tbh. I've gone through writers block a couple times that's why I never dropped the cringe ass book I was writing in 2020. It was supposed to be a namjoon fic lol. I'm glad for all the love and support that you've all given me I really couldn't thank u enough.
Tysm for everything and there may be a new book coming soon idk. In the meantime tho I will post about this book on my tiktok so please do follow.
This ain't the end of my reign y'all. If this book gets good reads I'll deadass make out with all of you.
This has been your one and only. bakedhoon <3
