42: Ending Promise [FINALE]

Jimin and I were walking down the street of Seoul leaving all our duties and responsibilities to our loved ones and enjoying our last day as a not-married-yet couple, bringing back the moment while we're still teenagers back then.

Today is my last day as a singled-status person, and tomorrow, i'll be marrying the most handsome man in the universe.

In the corner of my eyes, I saw my universe staring deeply at me. Those gazes says his deep love for me that will never be taken away by anyone.

"No matter how many times I mumble these words for you. I love you, I'll never be sick of saying that" he said then suddenly pulled me into a hug in the middle of the crowded and busy place.

"You don't have to say it everytime, Jimin. I know you really love me" I said then hugged him back. He stucked some hair strands behind my ear then kissed my forehead.

"I still can't believe it, i'll going to marry you tomorrow" he said emphasizing the word tomorrow, his tone reveals how excited he is and same goes with me.

We walked holding hands and letting him to take me whenever he want to go. Then a couple of minutes, I stood up turning my head up only to see those colorful heartlocks.

Jimin gave me a look then dragged me right away. We run to see the bunch of locks in front of us.

He rumaged through the locks, even though there are plenty of it, he still managed to find the locks we locked up together three years ago.

He brushed it with his fingertips removing the dirt caused by Seoul's pollution. He looked at me then smiled, I can't see him clearly because i'm tearing up so sudden.

"I told you, Jimin!" I said and ran to his arms again resting my head on his neck. I felt him carressing my hair, I like the way it feels and finally I'll going to feel it forever.

"I also told you, HaeMin and JiSoo means forever" he said then chuckle making me to smile so wide as if it will reach the stars anytime.

We stayed like this, looking up at the same sky, the same place and in same arms. I'm looking forward to our future, imagining him raising our children. Seeing him cooking for us. Sleeping on the same bed, waking up facing each other, hugs and kisses that will last forever and that day will start tomorrow.

"Jagi? Are you ready?" Jimin asked in the middle of sweet scene. I gave him a confusing look but he gave me a smirk.

"I almost forgot it! What the actual hell! Jimin! I'm the owner of the most famous clothing brand in South Korea and I doesn't even have any idea what would I wear! It's so frrustrating! The wedding is tom-" Jimin cut me off by placing his fingertips on my lips giving me a reassuring smile that made my frustrations to vanished away like a smoke.

"That's why I brought you here" He said and we both entered the place. And it's Olivia Lauren's another branch in Seoul that provides wedding gowns.

"Hello, Ms. Jin and Mr. Park, how may we help you?" The manager said and they all bowed to me as I did the same.

"I want you to find a most beautiful design of a gown for the most beautiful girl in the entire universe, more than Catriona Gray. A design that Haesoo never saw okay?" Jimin said and all the ladies nodded their heads as they giggled of his sweetness towards me.

I blushed so hard like it was my first time hearing his words even though I've heard that so many times.

We both entered a room and a lady guided me to enter another room again to help me fit the chosen gown. My eyes widen as I saw it. It was very beautiful and it perfectly fits mine.

I think I don't deserve to wear it because it's too beautiful for me.

I looked at my reflection as the lady gave me a flower boquet. I turned around ready to see Jimin.

The door slowly opened revealing myself. I saw Jimin sitting with cross legs leaning on the couch. As soon as he saw me, his eyes widened.

His lips parted and was about to say something but no words came out of his mouth as if he can't speak.

He looked at me as if i'm the only girl in the world.

"Mr. Park, you can take a picture of your future wife" the lady said and Jimin immediately took out his phone and captured a beautiful scene of me.

"Even if I take many pictures of you, your features right now that I see with my naked eye is the most beautiful live picture that I ever captured with my heart" he said and I suddenly teared up.

"Stop it, Jimin!!" I said avoiding his gaze.

"Why not, I love you right?" He said then walked towards me and pulled me into his chest and he hugged me so tight that I can feel his hot breathe brushing through the skin of my neck.

"I love you so much, I love you so much, I love you so much that you can make me tear up with just your simple words. I love you, I really really love you" I said and the tears started to fell hitting my cheeks and his neck.

"Ooops, you should stop crying. Keep it because you will cry harder tomorrow. Keep your tears, keep it" he laughed at me then hugged me tighter.

"I love you" I whispered with shaky voice.

"I love you more than anything" he replied.

Third Person's POV

--♥--August 10, 2024Wedding Day--♥--

Haesoo is sitting on a sofa with her wedding dress holding her boquet of purple flowers looking at her reflection on the mirror. Then suddenly, her mom barged in smiling at her through the mirror.

"My one and only baby will be getting married today" her mom said and suddenly burst out into tears.

"Eomma, uljimayo (don't cry). I might mess my face" Haesoo said with trembling hands and her mom held it.

"I trust you and Jimin and I'm so happy because you will end up with such a great person" she smiled at her.

"Thank you, Eomma" she said then looked at the invitation letters that was left on the table.

"Don't be too nervous, Haesoo" Her mom said caressing her cheeks. "Any minute, they might call you so ready yourself" she said then left.

"Uhm. Ms. Jin, the ceremomy will start in five minutes" the lady said then Haesoo nodded her head.

"Helloooooo" Jungkook walked inside and Haesoo ran to hug him. She's so happy to see him.

"Jungkook! Thank you for visiting me before the ceremony. I love you!" She said and hugged him tighter.

"Ofcourse, you're my bestfriend. It's so sad to think that Jang Xiaoyou should be in my place but she's not here" She suddenly felt down thinking about Xiaoyou and Jungkook is right.

Even if she broke her trust, their friendship together won't be replaced by anyone. But, where is she? Is she dead or alive? She doesn't even know.

"Anyways, can I invite a friend of mine, scratch the word friend, i'll invite a girl" he said smiling like crazy and she suddenly came up with an idea.

"Is it a lover? Oh my gosh Jungkook! Why didn't you told me?" She broke the hug with a big smile on her face. Jungkook blushed and avoided her gaze. Haesoo suddenly hit her while giggling.

"Okay, i'm so sorry" Jungkook said and smiled.

"You can invite her so I can meet her" Haesoo said and jumped in happiness with the thought of seeing Jungkook's love.

"Please excuse for a moment, I'll just pick up my precious daughter" Haesoo's dad said and Jungkook nodded. Haesoo gave his father a smile of excitement and immediately ran to him.

"Appa! You're going to send me in the aisle?!" Haesoo said and linked her arms in her father's arm. Her dad nodded and smiled.

"Bye, Haesoo. See you in a moment!" Jungkook said and left. As soon as he left, Haesoo looked at her father. She noticed the tears in his father's eyes.

"Haesoo, please promise me something. I don't want you to live in a miserable life like us with your Eomma. Don't argue with Jimin that may turn into divorce. Please trust him everytime" he said and held her daughter's hand.

"Yes, Appa. Promise" Haesoo said and smiled as they both walked in the way to the door of the venue.

Haesoo keeps on sighing and puffing out her cheeks as the clock keeps on ticking. She's excited and nervous at the same time. And then finally...

The door just slowly opened revealing a handsome Jimin in the middle of the place, there are chants and cheers everywhere, there are claps and tears that spreads out inside the venue.

Jimin smiled as she saw her girl with his future father-in-law. Haesoo slowly walked with his dad and smiled at any people she meet.

Haesoo and Jimin both stared at each other as of they are the only people in this world. Only the two of them.

As they reached the end of the aisle, Daeyoung, Haesoo's father finally gave his daughter's hand to Jimin with full of trust and happiness.

Jimin held her hand so tight as if his life depends on it. He smiled so wide at her same goes with Haesoo.

"Now, I promise you, in sickness and in health, through thick and thin, in heaven and earth, poor or rich, thruth or lie, or any circumstances and struggles in life, I will stay and love you forever until the end of this world" Jimin says as he looks at Haesoo straight in the eyes.

"Jimin, this is not an Ending Promise, but i'll promise you, I'll trust, love, and stay with you even if struggles and circumstances may get in our way, I'll stay faithful to you together with God. I love you so much. Let's take care of Minhyung and our future family until our hairs become white and our skins get older and older as the time goes by. PROMISE" Haesoo said as he held him so tight.

Jimin slid the ring on her finger and Haesoo did the same. They smiled looking at the rings on their hands.

"We take each other as an official husband amd wife" they both said and unison.

"Park Jimin, you may now kiss your wife" the priest said so Jimin held Haesoo's chin with his left hand and his other hand on her waist.

They smiled for the millionth time.

And then, Jimin kissed his wife. He pulled her closer to him to deepen the kiss as they heard the applauses and greetings from the visitors and also the flashing lights of the camera.

"Haesoo, my daughter-in-law!" Jimin's mom said as she hugged Haesoo with full of trust.

"I thought you won't be going. I missed you, Eomma" Haesoo said and carressed her mother-in-law's back.

"I'm not going to miss my son's wedding, duh" she said and they burst out in laughter.

Then Haesoo looked at her parents, they are crying together as they looked at their daughter. Haesoo was so happy, it's such a rare moment seeing her both parents together.

She thought this wouldn't happen.

"Uhm. Jiminie-hyung's wife, excuse me" Jungkook suddenly said so she faced her back seeing her friend with a girl.

She blinked in disbelief and was startled to see the girl linking her arms in Jungkook's.

"Congratulations, Unnie! By the way, i'm Kim Jiyeon, Jungkook's girlfriend" she said and Jungkook blushed instead of Jiyeon.

"Nice to meet you, Jiyeon! Anyways, Thank you for coming and witnessing the wedding of the century" Haesoo said and they both chuckled.

"You're beautiful in real life, I only see you in magazines" she confessed and Haesoo blushed.

"I think Jungkook just got a perfect and beautiful girl" She said and winked at Jungkook.

"Long time no see, Haesoo!" She heard a familiar voice behind her back. Jungkook widened his eyes confusing the bride in front of her.

Haesoo turned her heels around and was about to fall when she saw her.

"X-xiaoyou?" Haesoo said.

"Oh yes, congratulations, you still ended up with him. I thought I can steal him from you and now that you are tied to each other, I don't think I still can" she said triggering Haesoo's nerves.

"Yeah, you're right. Why are you here anyways? You're not even invited" she sarcastically said.

"It's not a sin to come on your friend's special day, right?" Xiaoyou replied with a smile. "Come on, Haesoo. I'm so sorry for what I have done, okay?" She said.

Haesoo felt an arm sliding on her waist. And she knew it already. Jimin was shocked to see her too but just shrugged and took Haesoo away from Xiaoyou.

"Excuse me, i'm getting what's my property" Jimin said and they both ran away out of the after party.

He brought her to a balcony outside of the venue.

"Don't worry, I won't let her steal your husband again" Jimin said with reassuring smile.

"Yeah, I know. You're already sticked with me, duh" Haesoo said and they burst out in laughter.

Then after some minutes of laughter, they calmed down. They both sat on the bench together but Jimin carried Haesoo on his lap.

And now, Haesoo is sitting on Jimin's lap, faces only milimeter away to each other.

"Saranghae, yagsokhae (I love you, promise)" Jimin said and motioned her to look behind her.

There were lights around, but there was a certain group of lights that caught Haesoo's attention. She cried so hard.

The lights were actually a message.

"You really do know how to make me cry, huh?" Haesoo said and hugged Jimin so tight not wanting to let him go.

"I love you, I love Minhyung, and our future family" Jimin mumbled under his breath and hugged her too.

"I love you too" She said and kissed her husband again. A deep kiss that they really wanted.

"Eomma! Appa!" Minhyung cutely said interrupting the moment.

They both broke the kiss and stared at the innocent baby in front of them. Haesoo ran to him and carried her baby.

"There he goes again, ruining the precious moment" Jimin pouted and Haesoo hit her.

"Stop whining, we can do it every night pabo!" She uttered and Jimin blushed.

"Saranghaeyo, Eomma, Appa" Minhyung said and his parents both kissed him in the cheeks.

"This isn't the end, we will start our new lives tomorrow. I love you Minhyung, I love you Haesoo" he said.

"I love you more, promise" Haesoo said and they hugged together. Hugging as a complete family that won't be compared to any other.

"Let's live together. I love you, promise" Jimin replied and they smiled to each other.
