JAMIE POV

I kept thinking about what happened as Bangtan and I walked to a place to eat. I still can't believe... Minho.

"Are you okay Jamie?" Jimin asked, suddenly taking my hand while giving me a reassuring smile. I quickly snapped out of it and smiled back.

"Y-Yeah... I was just thinking about something." I said. He nodded.

"Hey Jamie, so did you meet Shinee?" Jhope asked. Everyone around him grunted. I giggled as I looked at Jimin's particularly disgusted expression.

"As a matter of fact, I did. They were really nice. I don't know why you all don't like them." I said. They all stopped walking and darted their expressions at me.

"What?" I asked.

"That's all a front. They're trying to look all nice, but really their trying to get into your brain." Taehyung explained. He walked up close to me and leaned in, making a weird face. "So that they can abduct you." He said. I bursted out laughing.

"Okay I'll be careful." I joked. Everyone else around me shook their heads at Taehyung, who gave them a square smile back.

"No but seriously, if I could punch the smug look off of their faces every time I see them, they would be toothless and broken by now." Suga said, clenching his fist. Jin patted his shoulder.

"They just get on our nerves. A lot. You shouldn't worry about it." He added. I nodded as we arrived at the café. We sat down and hurriedly decided on what to eat, since we were all really hungry. After ordering two large pizzas and a 20-piece chicken box, we waited impatiently for our food. I leaned on Jimin's shoulder as he held my hand on his lap. Suga, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Rapmonster, who were all sitting across from us, gave us disgusted looks and Suga even threw in a gag. I laughed as Jimin playfully rolled his eyes at them.

"You guys are just jealous that I have a girlfriend." Jimin said, sticking his tongue out at them. "And you're just mad that Rachel couldn't make it." He said, turning to Taehyung.

"Whatever." Taehyung said, then I felt a kick at my broken leg, and pain shot through my body.

"Ow!" I yelled, closing my eyes and grabbing my leg.

"What's wrong?" Jimin immediately asked with a worried face. Everyone's eyes were wide, especially Taehyung's.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Jamie. Damn... I meant to kick Jimin." He quickly said.

"Yah!" Jimin yelled. I rubbed my leg and waited for the pain to go away. Meanwhile, Jimin was yelling at Taehyung and Taehyung was repeatedly apologizing. After it felt okay again, I looked up to Taehyung.

"It's fine. I'm okay." I said.

"No your not! What if something worse happened to it!" Jimin said. He snaked one arm around my waist as he bent down and softly touched my cast.

"Does it still hurt?" He asked. I shook my head. Meanwhile, Suga, who was sitting next to Taehyung, smacked the back of his head and Taehyung flinched.

"That's what you get for being careless." Suga said. I laughed.

Once everyone settled again, the food we ordered came out and as expected, everyone fell silent as they stuffed their faces. After we were done, we leaned back in our chairs in our bloated forms.

"That was great." I said and they agreed. After we split the bill, we walked out and gathered.

"Do you guys want to come over to my house today?" Jimin asked.

"YEAHHH!" Bangtan cheered and I laughed.

"You guys can have your squad time. I think I'm just going to go home." I said. Everyone pouted.

"But it's not as fun without you there." Jhope said. They all worked their aegyo on me and my heart slowly started to weaken.

"Don't you guys miss hanging out, just the seven of you?" I asked.

"My girlfriend or Bangtan... I choose girlfriend." Jimin teased his friends, who all sent him glares. I laughed again.

"Jimin, you got no jams." I said. Jimin turned to me with a shocked and hurt expression.

"Seriously?! Not you too Jamie!" He pouted. The others snickered.

"Come on Jamie, we really want you there." Rapmonster said. I smiled.

"How can I say no to you guys." I said. They grinned their unique smiles before starting to walk. Jimin tried to make his way over to me, but Suga, knowing that Jimin would become over protective again, was one step ahead. He head-locked Jimin and dragged him ahead of everyone else, and Jungkook followed to make sure he didn't escape. I laughed as Suga spared me a quick wink and smile. Meanwhile, I used my crutches and as everyone else walked off, Taehyung was the one to stay behind with me.

"Hey Jamie, I'm really sorry about earlier." He said as he rubbed his neck. I shook my head.

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine." I said. He gave me a small smile.

"Hey, can I ask you a question?" He asked. I nodded.

"So my anniversary with Rachel is coming up, and she wants me to meet her parents." He said as he suddenly looked really nervous. "I'm usually great when it comes to meeting new people, but I don't know, this is something completely different. I really love Rachel, and I don't want to do anything that makes her parents think that their daughter is in the wrong hands." He continued. I got a bit of anxiety from his words as well, but I didn't show it.

"So... how was it when Jimin met your parents?" He asked. My heart suddenly stopped for a second. I took a moment to take a deep breath, then I spoke.

"Jimin didn't exactly meet my dad yet. My mom died when I was little." I explained. He gave me a sorry look. I looked away.

"Please don't be sorry for me, I got enough pity throughout my life." I added.

"I wasn't pitying you, I was sharing the pain. I also lost someone really dear to me... my grandmother. She was healthy as she aged but... one day... she just..." Taehyung blinked a couple of times before taking a deep breath. "She was like a mother to me as I grew up... so I can relate to how you feel." He said. I nodded.

"Well, for me, I don't think Jimin's mom likes me." I said. Taehyung's eyes widened.

"What? I thought Jimin's mother liked everyone!" He said. I shook my head.

"I took her son away from her, why would she like me." I said.

"Don't be ridiculous Jamie, what's there not to like about you!" Taehyung said. I smiled.

"Thanks. You too Taehyung, you are a charming, polite, funny, and special guy, and if Rachel was my daughter, I would be happy to know that she was around a guy like you." I said. He smiled his rectangle smile at me.

"Do you really mean that?" He asked. I nodded. "Thanks Jamie"

"No problem." I said. With that, we walked in silence and I thought of Jimin and me. I really do feel bad that I'm making Jimin not meet my father, but I really have no other choice.

After a while, we all got to Jimin's house and waited for him to unlock the door. Once he did, a figure greeted us.

"Hey boys! How are you gu--" Jimin's mom stopped talking when she saw me and her smile slowly faded. No one noticed, however, as the boys greeted her back. Suga dragged Jimin, who was too busy to notice anything either, to the couch and they all crashed. I awkwardly remained at the doorway while his mom eyed me, giving me a slight look that didn't want me there, as she slowly walked into the living room to the boys. I knew what I had to do.

"Um guys? I think I'll just go home for today." I said. They all turned their heads to me.

"What? Why? I thought you said you would stay!" Jin said.

"Yeah why?" Taehyung asked. Jimin suspiciously looked at me, then at his mother. I quickly tried to play it off.

"I think I should get my leg checked out by Elizabeth. It's feeling kind of uncomfortable." I said. Everyone shot glares at Taehyung, who instantly looked sorry again. I shook my head.

"No, no! Not because of Taehyung, I kind of hit my leg against the table today anyway and it felt weird the whole day." I said. They shook their heads, still at Taehyung. "Anyway, have fun guys!" I bowed to Jimin's mom, who gave me a small smirk.

"Wait!" Jimin said as he wrestled out of Suga and Jungkook's grasp. He jogged over to me as he smiled at me sweetly. He leaned in and hugged me, and I watched from my view above his shoulder, as his mother narrowed her eyes at him.

"If it's because of my mom, just ignore her. Please, stay." He whispered in my ear.

"No, really Jimin, it's just my leg." I said. He pulled away from me as he shook his head, sighing in the process. He knew I was lying. He then quickly moved in and pecked my lips. My eyes widened and the boys gagged. Jimin's mom, however, looked a bit tense, but knowing that I was watching her for reactions, she controlled herself. I started to blush as Jimin turned around.

"In that case, I'm going to walk her to her house. I'll be right back." He said. I shook my head.

"No, no, stay. I can go by myself." I said, and before he could protest, I gave him begging eyes. He saw them and sighed.

"Fine..." He said, leaning in and giving me another peck. "Text me how your leg is later. I love you." He said. I smiled as my heart warmed up.

"I love you too." I said quickly and quietly. He chuckled as I bowed to his mom once again. Then, I turned around and used my crutches to get out of the door. Once I closed it, I let out a deep breath. Why doesn't she like me? With that thought, I moved down the front steps, and trailed towards my home.
