20: I Like You

JIMIN POVIt is now sixth period and Bangtan and I are in the dance room.

"Hey guys... I want Jamie to be mine. Can you guys help me?" I asked.

"Finally you take action." Suga said.

"Hey, it's not that easy." I defended.

"Okay Jiminie. Do something romantic. What did you have in mind?" Jin asked.

"Well... I haven't really thought of anything yet." I said as I smiled nervously. They shook their heads.

"Well, what does Jamie like?" Suga asked.

"Dance. That's literally all she thinks about." I said.

"What can we do with that?" Jungkook asked and I shrugged. "Does she have a favorite band or singer?" He asked.

"Big Bang... She was listening to 'Eyes, Nose, Lips' on the bus." I said.

"Okay then, how about this..." Rap Monster started. We all turned to him with our full attention. .JAMIE POVAfter practicing the choreography and improving our moves, practice was over. I sat in the corner of the room to drink water and after I did, I saw Chelsea and her friends talking to Jimin. She was smiling at him, hugging him. I felt a knot in my chest. I wanted to say: Don't touch him. Once Jimin saw me, he escaped from Chelsea's grasp and walked towards me.

"Hey Jamie, I'm going to stay a bit to practice... Wanna join me?" He asked silently so that Chelsea couldn't hear.

"Sure." I said. He smiled and nodded before turning back around. Chelsea glared at me before stomping out of the room with her friends. Jimin shook his head. Then, once everyone else left, he turned on the stereo and I got up. With that, we danced together to every random song that came on. I laughed and he joked around, purposely making funny movements and eventually chasing me around the room. After a while, we collapsed on the floor as we laughed and breathed heavily. I felt a connection to him... It felt really calming and nice. After our hearts settled down, it got silent.

"Hey listen Jamie, I know you don't want me to bring it up... But I'm really sorry about last night." He said while we were still laying down. I shook my head.

"It's fine. Really." I answered.

"It's the first time I lost control of myself. I honestly don't know what happened." He continued while turning his head to look at me.

"Jimin, I forgive you. Nothing happened anyway so you have nothing to worry about." I said. I heard him sigh.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. He looked at me with a serious look. He seemed really nervous all of a sudden.

"Give me a second." He said. With that, he got up and walked over to the stereo. He plugged in his phone and I sat up. "I have a dance I want to show you." He said. I nodded and sat back, leaning my back against one of the mirrors in the room. Jimin smiled at me and the music started to play. My eyes widened at the song. It was 'I Need A Girl' by Taeyang. I watched as he performed it perfectly, constantly making eye contact with me in the process. My heart beat rapidly as he continued. When he finished, he was right in front of me, and he was panting. After a moment, he knelt down on one knee to face me. He looked at me straight in the eyes and smiled.

"Jamie... I like you." He said. My eyes widened and everything froze.

"What?" I asked. My heart started to beat faster.

"I like you." He said again. I took a moment to sink that in. Park Jimin... Likes me? I stayed frozen while looking at him with a surprised look. "I know I haven't known you for a long time but... Jamie, you're amazing. You're a phenomenal dancer, you're really smart, beautiful, kind, and... Real. Everything about you makes my heart pound. I'm not used to this feeling. I don't even remember the last time I liked a girl. This feeling... It makes me smile when I see you. It makes me mad when your with another guy. It makes me lose control of myself." He said. I was speechless but my heart melted. That was so beautiful. I like you too Park Jimin. "We connect through so many things... And you're special. So Kim Jamie... Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. At those words, a wide smile spread across my face. IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?! He looked at me with hopeful yet nervous eyes. I blushed.

"I like you too Park Jimin. Yes, I will be your girlfriend." I answered. His eyes widened and a smile started to form on his face.

"Really?!" He asked and I nodded. At that, he hugged me. I giggled and hugged him back.

"Thank you. I'll try to be the best boyfriend I can be." He said. I smiled and held his hand.

"Let's go to my house. I have to show you something." He said. I nodded and we got up, grabbed our stuff, and walked out of the dance room. We then walked hand-in-hand to his house as my heart was beating rapidly. I felt so happy, I wasn't sure if this was reality or a fantasy. When we got to his house, he smiled at me and opened the door. When he did, Bangtan was standing by the doorway. They stared at our hands, then started shouting.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" They yelled. We laughed and thanked them. Then, they led us to the dining room, where they had food prepared. There was pizza, fried chicken, ddeokbokki, and cake. I laughed.

"What's this?" I asked.

"We have to celebrate this! Jimin finally made a move and got a girlfriend!" Taehyung said. I laughed and Jimin nudged him. At that, we all dug in and swallowed the food. After we ate, we crashed in the living room as we laughed.

"Hey Jamie, if he ever bothers you, let me know. I'll beat him up for you." Taehyung said.

"Ooh! Me too!" Jungkook added.

"Psh you guys can't beat me up." Jimin said confidently.

"Then we will." Jin and Suga added.

"What? Wait why are you guys all going against me?!" Jimin asked.

"Because you got no jams." Rap Monster added. I laughed.

"I have Jams now!" Jimin said while pointing at me. "I have a girlfriend now!" He said. We all laughed.

"Her name IS Jam-ie." Jhope added. I laughed at his lame joke.

"Okay okay fine. Good job Jiminie you finally got jams." Rap Monster said. Jimin smiled and winked at me. I blushed.

"Aww you guys are cute." Jin said.

"She is." Jimin said. My heart was beating rapidly.

"Wow, Jimin's got some moves." Taehyung said. After a while, we realized that it got really late, so the boys got ready to leave. At the door, one by one, they said goodbye. Once they were gone, I grabbed my stuff too and Jimin held my hand as he walked me home. When we got to the front door, we stopped.

"Thank you for accepting me Jamie. I was actually really scared that you didn't like me." He said. I giggled.

"Your so cute." I said and he chuckled.

"It's cold... You should go inside before you get sick. Goodnight Jamie." He said while smiling at me. His adorable eye smile was shown as he leaned in to hug me. I hugged him back.

"Goodnight Jiminie." I said. His hand slowly let go of mine as I opened the door... But I couldn't help it. Before I went in, I quickly turned back around and pecked his cheek.

"Sweet dreams." I added. His eyes widened at my sudden action and I rushed into my house, leaving him frozen. Once I closed the door, I looked through the eye hole to see him blushing. I giggled. Then, I watched as he walked back home with a huge smile on his face. When he left, I couldn't help but to smile too as I turned around.

"Ommo!" I yelled when I saw that Elizabeth was suddenly right in front of me.

"Watching Jimin walk away huh?" She asked. I smiled again.

"Is it wrong to watch my... Boyfriend?" I said. At that, her eyes widened.

"No way! Jamie I knew it!" She said. I giggled and she hugged me. "Jamie... I'm really happy for you... But what are you going to do about your dad?" She asked. My smile faded.

"I'm not telling him. He would beat me and him. I'm not going to put Jimin in danger like that." I said. She sighed.

"Jamie you know I can't stop your father." She said.

"I don't want you hurt either Elizabeth. Whatever happens, it's not your fault. Please just let me. I'm finally happy again." I said. She sighed and nodded. I hugged her.

"Thank you." With that, I went upstairs, took a shower, then skipped to my room. There, I saw that Jimin's lights were off so I assumed that he was asleep. I slightly opened my window and laid down in my bed. Before I fell asleep, my phone buzzed.

Jiminie:Goodnight Jagi... Thank you.

I smiled wildly as I felt my face heat up. J-Jagi??

Me:Goodnight Jiminie. Thank you for making me happy.
