We get into the position and the music started playing.. My heart skipped a beat when lucas placed his hand on my hip and his other hand gently holding my hand..

I realised my hand perfectly fit into his big one.. When he interlaced our fingers.. I started feeling something weird in my heart.. Then my heart got a fatal blow when i see those rubies straight...

We started dancing and he ..

" you can .. Dance so well..?!" I asked in surprised tone

" yeah.. I can.. Why..? You thought I can't dance ..?" he asked raising one of his eyebrows..

" it's not that. didn't expected you to be this good" I said and he smirked..

Lucas saw how kiel got worked up sitting there staring at them dancing.. He wanted to tease him more so he pushed athy even closer by her waist and she was also surprised.. He looked down at her their faces inches away from each other and smiled..

She stepped away twirling holding his hand.. When her whole world is already spinning from that killer smile... He pulled her again.. The sapphires met those rubies again inches away... Her body heated up as they both swayed and danced to the rhythm..

" princess Athanasia is such a good dancer huh..?!!" he said in a teasing tone and she rolled her eyes...only she knows how hard she is trying her best not to get so flustered and make any mistakes.

" my mom is a dancer.." she said

" you got that gene huh.. "

he mumbled.. As he spinned along with her and their faces almost touched.. She lost balance and was about to fell but he hold her waist and stopped her from falling...

When they were on their own world.. They heard clapping sounds and stood straight..

" it's fabulous..!! You guys are made for each other..!! This is the best dance I have ever seen...!! So perfect...!! You two don't even need practice.."

The teacher said and her assistants and others nodded a big yes as they fanned their faces with their hands. Their hotness spread throughout the whole ball room .

Athy thanked them politely .. And lucas looked unbothered by their compliments.. He is staring at kiel from time and time enjoying his frustrated face.. Kiel rushed out saying he have work..

Lucas got a message from the tower to come immediately and he excused himself

Athy stood there dazed...

"actually princess..we are too dazed by your perfromance..you and sir lucas danced so intimately and it's so romantic to watch... I never saw a stunning couple like you two..." her dance teacher said and her assistants nodded a big yes.

jennete said giggling and they started talking about her.. Athy was still trying to come back to her senses... All she can think of is, those pair of rubies.. How they looked so stunning under light, how he looked so handsome looking close .. How her heart danced on its own beat every time he pulled her closer..

"madam.. I have some works to finish .. I will get going..." she said and excused herself..she was walking in a daze and suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder

" huh.. Felix..?"

"yeah.. What are you thinking that you are in daze like this..?" he asked tilting his head..

"let's go.. I will escort you back to your palace" he said and she giggled

" I know my way back to palace felix"

She said giggling

" athy dear.. That ring.. Lucas gave it right..?" he asked with a smile

"huh.. This..? Yeah he did.." she said and he smiled bright

"how did you know that it's lucas 's.?" she asked

"you don't know what it is.?" felix asked and she nodded a no.

"I don't know.. What is it..? I Thought it's just a ring.. He do give it in a weird timing.." she mumbled

"it's a soul ring athy.. Those with strong mana can make this.. I felt lucas 's mana on that stone.. His mana is fierce and red.. Like this stone.. It's not actually stone but his mana in crystallised form "

"what..?!! Mana in crystallised form .?!!" athy asked surprised

You can make mana crystals often but you can imprint your soul in it only once.. I was surprised that he gave something so precious to him easily to You..

felix said and smiled.. Athy didn't said anything back as they silently walked back to the palace.. She flopped on her bed staring at her ring..

'he gave something this important easily to me..? Is this how he found whenever I Was sad..? Lucas.. He never said about this.. If felix didn't told me I wouldn't have known how precious it was..' she thought and hugged her finger with her hands and placed it close to her heart smiling .

"I sent that brat away for a work he will come back tonight.." he said and athy nodded a yes

" is that why you are in his stead .?" she asked smiling

"so you want to make a soul stone..?.. Why suddenly..? to give it to lucas?" he asked with a smirk

"how did you know?!! " athy asked gasping

When lucas came back he saw the master sleeping on his table..

" what the.. Master" he shouted making the old man flinch and he got up frowning

"what is it..brat..?" he asked pissed.

"you didn't finished this papers..?! What are you doing all this time..?!" he asked pissed

" I was into some other important thing.. I will finish them later.. What about the work.?" he asked

"of course I did it.. Unlike someone." he shrugged

" yeah yeah.. You go back to the mansion.." he shooed him off as he started working.

"this old man is getting childish.. Haah.. I am tired.."

he was about to go to his mansion but got surprised to see athanasia standing there talking to cabel and others.

Lucas told his assistants to stay in the mansion as it's uselessly big for a single person..

Lucas. P. O. V.

" sia.. " I called and she turned back and smiled bright

" then.. we will get going athy.. Bye " cabel and others said as they went inside..

" what's are you doing here.? "

" lucas.. Are you done with your work..? "she asked smiling..

" huh.. I did.. " I mumbled. It's the first time she came to my mansion.

" first.. Let's go inside.. " I said dragging her inside to my room.

" lucas.. Look at this.. she said opening a jewel box showing a beautiful pendant with a brightly shining stone same as her eyes colour.. It's looks so pretty even if it's not to the level of her eyes.

"is this your soul stone.?!!" I asked and she nodded a yes smiling bright

"today.. I learned how to make this from master.. I failed for almost twenty five times but I finally did it..!!! How is it..?!!" she asked with curious eyes..

Is this why that old man didn't finished his works.?

"why did you strain yourself..? You just now started using your mana.. You shouldn't strain like this.. Are you OK..? Do you feel dizzy..?" I asked and she pouted

I said patting her head and she smiled as she took it from that box and took a step forward and put it on my neck..

I asked and she took a step back and smiled.. My heart calmed down a bit..

" because I made this for you.." she said and smiled..

Then it started beating loud again.. I felt weird inside..

So she found what's that ring is huh..?! And she freaking learned and made one for me..?!!

I feels so happy inside..

"thanks.." I said and she smiled..

" the design also looks good.. I thought it's weird for you to wear this.. So it's for me huh..?!!" I said and she giggled..

" master said I made it too big for a ring so I decided to make a pendant" she said looking around

"ohh. This is your room. Huh..?! This place looks cool but not like your tower" she said looking around.

"hmm.. Do you wanna look around.. It's your first time Here right.?" I said and she nodded a yes.

Then we roamed around the hall and she asked if we can go out for dinner cause she is bored.. I am tired but I can't say no to that puppy eyes..

" lucas.. Are you tired..? I am sorry I didn't noticed that before.. Let's go back" she said and I flicked her forehead

" let's go dummy.." I said as she followed me massaging her forehead

We went to the restaurant which she usually like and had dinner. When we came out she stared at the fountain in daze as she Sat there staring at it with a calm face

I came back with cotton candy and she looked so cute as she eat the cotton candy like a baby

"thanks lucas" she said as she hugged my hand and leaned her head on my shoulder..

"the sky is so clear today.."

she mumbled as we stared at it for a while and as she slowly fell asleep.. She must have exhausted her energy making soul stone.. I teleported us to her room and lily looked up unbothered..

She got so used to me coming into her room unannounced.

"oh you guys are back..." she said as she went out closing the door..

I put her on the bed and went back to my room.. When I came back after shower.. I am smiling as I saw my reflection in the mirror..

This colour is really the same as her eyes..
