Claude was in his table signing some documents and felix is helping him..

" your majesty.. Did you write the reply for that invitation...?" felix asked

"huh.. What invitation.?"

"Haah.. You forgot..? Our neighbouring country valeris.. Their King Benjamin invited you and the princesses to his daughter's wedding ceremony.."

" what a hassle..." claude mumbled

" you have to go your majesty.. We have to  Maintain a friendly relationship with valeris " felix said and claude sighed in frustration...

" fine then... Sent the letter back saying we will come.. " he said felix nodded a yes.

" excuse me your majesty.. But our princesses debutante ball is coming .. Is it OK to take them to another country now ..?" one of the court members asked

" I think it's fine as long as they have partners " alpheus said with a smirk ..

" felix.. Add their partners in the list "claude said ending the conversation.

" oh my sir felix is in a difficult spot again..who will he assign to the second princess..? "alpheus said with a smirk

" you don't have to worry about that sir alpheus.. Our princess do have a partner "felix said with a mocking smile..

" yeah.. Everyone knows our second princess and the royal magician are so close " one of the court members said

" Haah..that  Magician..? That's good "alpheus said but his face screamed he isn't pleased

Claude was sitting there listening to everything silently...Athy's P. O. V.

" we are going to valeris for the wedding ..? " I asked

What is this..? I didn't went to this wedding in the past..

" but..

"don't worry.. Athy... You can go and have fun since you have lucas now.. If it's not for him... I would have had a hard time finding a partner for you..." felix said with a satisfied smile

Yeah.. So it's again because of lucas..?!  everything  is changing from the past

" I heard valeris is a beautiful country athy.. Go and have fun.. Ohh.. We have to pack your things... "lily said and she and my other maids started sprinting all over the palace

" why do you look sad athy..? You don't want to go..? "felix asked with a sad face

" no.. It's just that I am surprised.. Felix.. You are also coming right..? " I asked and he smiled patting my head .. Our kind felix... felix will get hurt trying to protect jennete .. Lily and I was so worried cause it took so long for him to recover..

" of course where would I go without my princess "he said and I smiled.. I Wish you don't get hurt this time felix

I looked up to see lucas sitting on the balcony railing... It's become his habit now to come to my room at night every day..he would stay with me until I fell asleep and go back...

I told him not to do this but he won't Listen to me.. It feels like a burden to me.. I am used to lily and felix being caring on me but lucas being like this... Feels different and I don't want him to get hurt because of me..

" you know we are going to valeris right..?".

"yeah.. Felix do told me.. It's just two days trip don't Worry too much" he said nonchalantly

"you don't remember what happened there..?" I asked and he stared at me confused

" yeah.. Now that I think about it.. There will be a monster outrage right...?" he said and I nodded a yes

" in the past felix got hurt because of that" I said and looked up to see him. Sitting beside me.. I am used to this now.. He would shift from place to place in an instant.. This monkey guy.

" is that what you are worried about..? You have me now.. I won't let anything happen to felix.. It's surprising that felix got hurt in the first place.." he said

"felix was trying to save jennete and he got hurt.."

" because of that dumbass..?!! Haah why did he even bothered save that chimera.? "lucas said pissed

" chimera..? " I asked giggling... this guy and his nicknames

" hmm..she is  a chimera.. She is weird.. I can't figure out everything but she don't have mana at all.. And definitely have black magic in her "lucas said

" jennete have blcak magic..?!! " I asked shocked and she nodded a yes

" the first time I saw her I know right away.. She reeks of black magic.. I think why everyone Blindly believes and adore her is due to that.. Your dad too have black magic on him... Your family is a total mess sia. "he said flopping on my bed..

Lily will freak out if she know I let a guy to come and go inside my room at night and he would even lie down on my bed..I lied down beside him and stared at the ceiling...

" it's so pretty thanks" I said and he flicked my forehead

"you say   thanks  for only God know how many times a day ... Stop it sia" he scolded me..

Lucas made my bedroom ceiling look like galaxy.. It won't show on day time but will shine like real stars in nighttime.. It's so beautiful that sometimes I would just lie down and watch them for hours... Whenever I saw them.. I feel grateful for his thought.. He made this to make me feel better at night so that I won't have nightmares..

This guy is cocky.. Narcisstic.. So picky still he strangely care about me.. And that makes my heart flutter..

" tch.. I am telling you I will take care of everything.. Felix will be OK.. Just sleep" he said

"you also have to be safe.." I said and he chuckled.

"don't You know who I am..?" he asked raising one of his eyebrows as he stared at me leaning his head on his hand..

"yeah yeah.. You are the great magician no one can defeat.. Still you are human with some powers not God.. If you get hurt I won't talk to you" I said and he is silent as he flopped back on the bed..

Lucas sometimes won't reply back like this... I don't know why... But he won't.. He would just stare..

Lucas. P. O. V.

She fell asleep and I tucked her inside the bedsheet ..pfft.. This becomes my daily habit.. I was about to leave but I turned to see her face one time..

"yeah yeah.. You are the great magician no one can defeat.. Still you are human with some powers not God.. If you get hurt I won't talk to you"

Heh... How different you think from others..?!! May be.. That's why.. I like  you..

I went back to my room.. They give me a mansion near  the palace and it's  fucking big for a single person.. So cabel leo and rei are also staying here... Cause why not..? there is so many rooms.. And the more assistants I have more good for me to dump work on them

"cabel..take care of these things.. And if  you find anything problematic.. Don't hesitate to call me.. OK..?" I said and he nodded a yes smiling..

"don't worry lucas.. I will take care of everything.. If I have any doubts.. I will contact you.. Have a safe trip lucas"

He said smiling... Cabel is really a good guy.. These other three too.. They waved me bye as I walked out bored..I teleported to the Ruby Palace..

" oh.. Lucas you came..? Where are your things..?" felix asked

" I don't need them." I said and he giggled..

"yeah yeah.. You fancy pants ." he said walking past me.. He and lily are busy getting everything ready.. Now where is our gloomy Princess..?

I walked towards her room and all the maids greeted me with smile.. I entered her room and she turned back...

Bathump .. Bathump.. Shh.. You stupid heart.. It's thumping like a drum  again... She look gorgeous today.. If only she smile it would be so beautiful that's why I am glad she doesn't.. Or else every guys will faint..even  I am not immune to her beauty..

" hii lucas.." she said smiling.. Hmm.. Now it's perfect..

" hii.. What's with you..? Are you cos playing as witch?" I asked and she smiled.

"do I look like a witch?" she asked titling her head

" hmm.. Nope.. Your face doesn't suit it.." I said and she smiled.

" it's jennete and her aunt.. She often intentionally change my dresses to dark colours.. And she would choose light colours" she shrugged

Athy's. P. O. V..

"to her.. It would make her look Good and I am bad"

I  said and he made his signature' what the fuck'  face.. Pfft.. Only he can make that  face look  Handsome.. Yeah.. He is handsome Today too..

Kinda like that vampire male lead in my romance  novel, He and his dressing sense just match well..pfft..Not at all humble..

"she is so childish .. How do you tolerate her..? " he sighed frustrated..

"hmm.. I know right..?  That's why I don't mind her.. It's not like I want to impress others.. So. I don't mind wearing dark dresses..  "

I said and he smiled.. Wahh.. That killer smile again...

" but I like this.. You look hot in black See.. We match well.. Same Pinch " he said slightly pinching my hand  grinning ..

"pfft.. What are you..? five years old..? " I asked giggling trying my best to ignore his first sentence

"don't smile in front of others like this..." he mumbled

" others  may faint.. Cause your true smile.. It's damn  beautiful .." he said and turned back as he walked  out..wait.. What's with him today.?!! He is flirting too much.. Still.. How can you make me this flustered..?!!!

P. O. V.. Ends..

"what did I heard just now..?!! Did the great lucas praised  me..?! Hey lucas say that one more time.. Hmm..? I want to hear it again."

she teased him as they walked out hand in hand..

Lily and felix smiled happily  seeing athy smiling bright as they followed them..

When athy and lucas walked to the main entrance bickering and  giggling.. Athy still wanting him to say that again and lucas refusing to do so...

Jennete and kiel saw them in distance and kiel face automatically went down.. Jennete rolled her eyes annoyed..

Claude saw how they both are fooling around as he get on the carriage.. Felix waved bye to athy and lucas as he get on with him...

Jennete dragged kiel to thier carriage as athy and lucas get on theirs .. Athy waved lily bye with a sad face.. Since she knows what will happen.. She told lily to stay here and didn't took any maids for her help...

On  thier way to the  valeris.. Lucas fell asleep and athy was busy reading her novel.. She slowly then fell asleep.. When she got up.. Her eyes wided  cause she saw lucas reading one of them...

"lucas.. You.." she called him and he is still like a statue..

"lucas ..?" she called him again tilting her head.. Trying to see his face which is hides  behind the book.. He burst out laughing and she sighed

" sia.. What the fuck is wrong with this book..? It's so cringey.. I never thought you would  read these cheap novels.. " he said amidst laughing..

Athy stared at him  fed up...

"first give it to me.. Why did you read it..? And it's not cheap novels.. You just don't like this..."

she said trying to grab the book from him but he moved his hand away from her  holding the book... She got pissed and moved closer to get the book.

" princess.."

he called in a sweet and gentle tone which made her look down and their eyes met.. She is almost towering over him on his seat.. Her hand trying to reach the book in his hand.. Their faces only an  inch away..

"huh..?" she stared  at him confused as he is staring at her gently.. He gently caressed her face with his other hand and she got flustered..

" princess..your beauty is so ethereal that I can't take my eyes off you..."

he said in a gentle and soft tone... His deep red eyes  glowing.. His long eyelashes and his mole looking gorgeous.. She was mesmerised by his handsome face that she forgot what she is doing for a moment..

" so could you please turn around..? "he asked

" huh.. What..? "she mumbled

"  What if I fell somewhere walking with my eyes fixed on you..? "he asked trying hard to control his laughter and he stared laughing again...

A twitch mark appeared on athy's forehead...

Smack..

She smacked his head and grabbed the book from his hand and went back to his seat.. He is wincing in pain but still chuckling..

" pfft... are you mad sia..? You become a hamster again.." he said chuckling as he shifted and sit beside her..

"hey..." he poked her arm but she ignored him..

" sia.. Look at me.." he kept poking her but she didn't reacted at all.. Suddenly the carriage shookes and she was about to fell down but he grabbed her waist  and made her sit again... She turned towards him Surprised

" sit properly dummy..." he said and she pouted  turning back

" hey I am so bored.. And.. Pfft.. your books are so cringey.. Give me company... Hmm..?" he asked titling his  head trying to look at her face  and she turned away further..

She saw a black  butterfly flying and her eyes wided..it's her hairpin.. She tried to catch it and it settled on her hand.. Soon several colourful butterflies flew around her... She smiled looking around and she  turned back as soon as she lucas smiling at her..

" sia.." he called  and she glared  at him..

" even if you don't like these.. I like them.. These are my only companion.. Don't say they are cheap.." she said and he become silent..

"sorry.. I was just joking"

he said in a serious tone and she turned towards him... He stopped laughing  and stared at her with his usual blank  face.. She slowly smiled nodding a yes

" hmm.. It's ok.. Don't say it again.." she said and he nodded a yes..

" you have me now .. Still why are you holding on to these books..?  Talk with me... I am bored.."  he said and she smiled as she placed her books aside..

"hmm.. Fine.. What do you want to talk About..? " she asked sitting straight facing him..

"hmm.. Just anything.. Tell me what you did.. This life or past life... Anything..." he said leaning on the back of the couch..
