Warning: Language

He was dead or at least everyone thought he was. In secret, he took the role of his father as king. He thought it would satisfying him bring a pinch of happiness but it brought nothing.

When he wasn't pretending to be king he was wondering the galaxy. He didn't know why but sometimes he felt like he needs to be in a certain part of the galaxy at a certain time. He always felt like he was chasing something but didn't know what.

And that's how he found himself here. He stood in a field of grass not too far away there was barn and a house. He didn't know why or where he was but he knew this is somewhere he needed to be. Looking around not to far away stood a little girl with a doll in hand she was looking down at his feet. Under his foot was a doll. Looking down he also notices his kingly attire. As he bent down to pick up the doll he waved his hands and his attire changed. Jeans, a black t-shirt, and sneakers. He crouched down and looked at her she looked no older than five and six years old. She was young and blonde. Adorable she was. She almost reminded him of (y/n).

"I think this is yours, here you go" he holds it out to her she quickly snatched it away Loki laughed. "what's your name?" she didn't but looked down at her feet "ooh, right, stranger danger. Then I'll go first. My name is Loki" he held out his hand.

"I'm Lila" they shook

"nice to meet you, Lila"

"How'd you do that come from nowhere and change your clothes," She asked Loki smiling he leaned forward he whispered "Magic"

"Really!!" to prove himself true Loki made a butterfly appear on his finger and fly to her nose "see magic"

"LILA" the little girl flinched as the shout of her name was heard. Loki stood quickly and was ready to jump in front and protect her at all cost. Hell, he didn't even know why but he was going to protect her at all cost. But the feeling surly left him when he saw who it was, Cling Barton, no wonder she looked so familiar.

"Lila, go in the house"

"but daddy-"

"Lila. House. Now" Loki watched as Lila ran up to the house and into her mother's waiting arms. As soon as the front door closed Clint pulled out a shotgun from behind his back and cocked it.

"you're supposed to be dead."

"Sorry, I'm not," Loki said motioning to his very alive self

"Yeah, I can see that. Why are you here?"

"Um, I ... I actually don't know" Loki chuckled a bit rubbing the back of his neck

"what do you mean? How did you find this place?" Clint was getting pissed

"I've known about this place since New York, sorry about that by the way, I saw this place and your family when I was going through your... your head. I didn't tell anyone though. I don't know why I'm here" Loki was being a hundred percent honest. He would never and had never even considered hurting Clint's family. He himself had a soft spot for children.

"BULLSHIT" Clint screamed stepping forward. Loki sighed and looked around and decided to have a seat with his back facing the house. "I doubt you'll let me leave so I'll sit and wait for you to call the others or take me in yourself. I'm not here to do any harm. I have no reason".

Loki knew that in the house Lauren was calling the Avengers and SHIELD. Honestly, he didn't care he wasn't here to hurt anybody or cause any trouble but doubted they'd believe him, it's okay he wouldn't believe himself either.

Wandering around the galaxy as a six years old girl was dangerous enough but being human, or as everyone else called them earth trash, it was 10 times more dangerous basically putting a target on her back. Thankfully the first person to open her pod/ container was nice and healed her and showed her kindness. After that (y/n) could not stay with the nice Alien forever and eventually left to wonder the galaxy by herself sneaking on to ships and hitchhiking with dangerous people. At the age of ten, this girl had seen more Aliens and planets than any other little girl on earth.

"STOP THAT KID" the vendor yelled as (y/n) took off with fruit in her hands. She ran out of money at the age of eight surprisingly the money she was given lasted two years. That resulted in her stealing, pickpocketing, odd jobs, and selling stuff. She didn't like it but she did it.

"STOP THAT KID"

"IM SORRY" (y/n) yelled as she ran through the crowd and ducked into an alley where she had been sleeping for the last few days. (y/n) stuffed the fruit into her already full bag of fruit. She packing for a trip and getting ready to leave this planet for another. She didn't know which planet she was going to but she hoped it was breathable.

Throwing her bags over her shoulder (y/n) walked into the crowded streets in search for a lift or ship to stow away on or even a portal, been a while since she travels by portal. Last time it was with... Loki.

(y/n) quickly shook the thought from her head. Loki was dead he died a year after leaving her. She didn't know how she didn't know why. He wasn't coming back.

"Did you hear about that Asgardian guy" (y/n) stopped to listen to the strangers. Even if she had never been and probably never will she always kept an ear out for Asgard. "That guy um..." the stranger snapped his fingers " Loki"

"didn't he invade Earth. Rumor had him working with Thanos. But he's dead now" the other stranger said. (y/n) cringed he was not working for Thanos that was a lie. She wanted to run up punch the man telling him the truth but she also wanted to hear more.

"he's not dead. He's a life and kicking. He's been wandering the galaxy in some numbing, brain-dead state. Rumor has it he's either back on earth or Asgard." Not able to stay hidden (y/n) jumped up in the conversation.

"Really, really, really?!" He alive is he really?" the strangers looked down at the little girl bewildered and confused.

"Um... that's what I heard"

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you" (y/n) said to both the stranger Aliens and ran off to hitch a ride to Asgard or Earth. Whichever was closer.

"you know that kid"

"I thought you knew her"

She's alive he's alive everyone live and okay

Should she find Loki or what where should she go next?
