There was a loud bang on the door.

Draco and I shot out of bed.

"What was that?" I asked softly.

We were also still naked.

"Get dressed. Quickly" Draco said already out of bed and throwing on his suit that was still on the floor.

Another bang.

"One second." He yelled shuffling quickly. I grabbed a sweater and jeans quickly so he could open the door.

"Potter. He was spotted in Hogsmead. I need you to search the castle." Snape sneered he then looked at me. "You too" he snapped before stomping away.

"Shit. Is this happening?" My voice was shaking as we stood staring at the door for a moment. Before I felt a pain in my arm. I turned to look at Draco wincing with pain as well.

"Appears so." He looked at me and there was a glint of fear in his eyes before he covered it up. He wakes up to me and took my cheeks in his hands. "Don't leave my side." Draco looked into my eyes deeply.

"Draco I can fend for myself."

"Y/n this is not the time to debate. Please stay with me" he grabbed my hand pulled me out of the room, towards the door where the rest of the students where leaving as well.

"Daphne!" She stopped in her tracks and ran back to me.

"Y/n, Draco what's happening?" I just looked between her and Draco for a moment. When I looked back at her it was as if she knew exactly what was happening now.

"Stay safe. Please?" I whispered to her and gave her a hug. She nodded.

"You guys too... stay safe" she had a look of nerves on her face. As she turned back and joined the group of Slytherins going to the great hall.

Draco pulled me out of the door and in the opposite direction of the other students as we started doing our rounds. We ran through every hallway all the way up the castle and back down.

Nothing.

Until we saw the Slytherins being guided away from the great hall.

"What the..?" Draco turned to me and looked at me confused. We both followed the crowd and realized they were locking them up in the dungeons.

Why would they do that...? Draco and I got closer to the cells and I saw Daphne.

"Daph what's going on?"

"They don't trust us. They think we're all on his side." She said hesitantly looking at us. I took my wand and pointed it at the door.

"Alohamora"

"Oh it can't be that easy" I heard Draco say from behind me before the door creaked open. I turned to look at him.

"Obviously it is. Let's go" I grabbed Daphne and Draco stopped me for a moment. As the rest of the Slytherins flooded out of the room.

"I'm going to grab Blaise and Crabbe and go find Potter. You stick with Daphne." I looked at him trying to hide the fact that I didn't want him to leave me as much as he didn't want to go.

"Draco you said you weren't going to leave me.. anyways it's my job too-"

"I don't care. You're not safe with me anymore, that's all I care about." Not safe with him? how was I not safe? He turned to look at Daphne, "Daph, just keep her in your sight. I know you can fend for yourself but don't let anything happen to her please" he looked at her with pleading eyes and she nodded.

I pulled Draco in a tight hug. Feeling the urge to tell him how I felt before he left. "Go" was all he said before Daphne was now the one dragging me off. There were loud bangs jetting the castle causing debris to fall from every angle.

Daphne was dragging me up the corridors. We were trying to dodge every flying rock and spell being tossed out way. A death eater rounded the corner and saw Daphne with her hand on my wrist, whoever it was started charging us wand at the ready.

"Stupefy" Daphne shouted as the man suddenly stopped and fell to the ground. "Come on y/n let's get into a classroom-"

"No we can't just hide away Daph we have to fight."

"If your caught fighting against him you're dead" she yelled as she continued to drag me. She threw me into a class room and was about to shut and lock the door when someone else blew through.

Son of a bitch.

"Astoria leave" Daphne barked.

"Prove yourself useful for once and stay out of it Daphne." Astoria slammed the door shut and locked it. Daphne started to walk towards her.

"Do not touch-"

"Petrificus totalus" Astoria shot the blinding white light at Daphne who then fell to the floor.

"Astoria-" Daphne started but Astoria didn't bother to give her the time of day as she shot her dagger eyes right at me.

"First you steal my fiancé and now my sister? I barely know you y/n... yet you're ruining my life" Astoria said sternly as she started to walk away from her sisters body.

"He was never your fiancé." I said through gritted teeth. "And Daphne deserves a sister who doesn't hurt her for such petty bullshit."

"I'm not going to hurt her.. she's my sister after all. She's just going to be paralyzed until I'm done with you. So she can't try to protect you from your fate" Her eyes were looking right through me.

"You going to kill me then? Go ahead. Try me." I started to walk closer to her and raising my wand.

"No not kill you. I've thought of something better." The smirk on her face was relentless.

"Expelliarmus" I shouted, her wand threw itself across the room but she didn't show fear she just smiled. She walked back to Daphne kneeled down and grabbed her wand.

"Draco will never love you" I muttered. Her smile faltered before she let out a bellowing laugh.

"You think he loves you? Huh?" She shook her head. "How pathetic"

"He does" Daphne yelled. She couldn't move but she still had her ability to hear and speak. My breath hitched lightly at her words.

"What?" I muttered. My full attention was on Daphne's frozen body. She was staring at the ceiling.

"He loves you y/n" before I could think about what she had said I heard Astoria mutter something under her breath and the purple light hit me from across the room. Knocking me back against the wall and onto the floor.

Everything was black.

But I still heard Astoria mutter the counter curse to Daphne.

I still heard them fighting.

I felt Daphne's hand rest on my cheek.

But I couldn't move, or speak.

"What did you do to her?" I could feel Daphne searching for a pulse. I could still feel myself breathing. But it was like I was petrified.

"Gormlaith Gaunts curse." It was Astoria I could tell she was speaking with pride. "It put her into eternal sleep."

"You're kidding,"

"No. There's no cure for it either. I want her to listen in agony as Draco and I run off from this dumb war together. I want her to hear her life crumble before her just like she did to me. You hear me y/n?"

I wanted to yell or scream but I couldn't. It was basically sleep paralysis where I was stuck within my own mind and body.

"So there's no way to wake her?" Daphne's voice trembled.

"Nope, if she's lucky maybe one day I'll take her out of her misery and actually kill her. Until then, I have a fiancé to find." I could hear her steps walking away from me and toward the door.

"Shit y/n... I'm so sorry." Daphne whimpered. She lifted me off the ground. "Let's go find someone.... maybe she's bluffing." she said knowing or hoping I could hear her.

"Draco's going to kill me..." she muttered as I felt the movement of her walking.

I felt useless, I was in a prison. Being in this state was going to drive me insane. Which is exactly what Astoria wanted...

I almost wished she killed me instead.
