5 Warm Words And Drops 💧

No one's POV:

Jake ran, and ran, and ran.....but Drew didn't stop running after him.

"JAKE! JAKE!" Drew kept shouting, as Jake's tears flew out while he ran.

"STOP CHASING ME ALREADY!" Jake screamed in a broken voice. He soon stopped running and the two meet themselves at a lonely park. It was the afternoon and It was really cloudy, as if it was going to rain.

Drew was breathing heavily and blew out the last breathe as he then stood there, both him and Jake frozen in place. Drew looked at his love letter and then at Jake. He was debating either if he should let Jake talk or if he should start the conversation, he decided to talk first after almost a minute of silence.

"Jake..." Drew said unsurely.

"I-" Drew got interrupted by Jake.

"Drew...." Jake said in a stubborn and cold voice.

"Do you.....hate me?" Jake said and made a soft sniff after, holding his arms and looking down.

Drew's POV:

Jake really thinks I hate him?...I never hated Jake...fuck it, I must do it, I must finally tell him.

No one's POV:

"D-Drew?...you didn't answer my question..." Jake murmured as a tear already escaped him brown eye. Drew sighed and pressed his knuckles, he was ready to talk.

"I'm shocked, Jake." Drew said in such a serious tone. Jake turned around as his eyes widened in shock.

"W-What?..." Jake was confused about Drew's words.

"You really think I would hate you? Gosh, Jake....Hate is a strong word...I never hated you, I adored you so much that I got to a stadium like this...after years of our friendship, You think I would....hate you?"

Jake completely froze at Drew's words, his raised his eyebrows and was still shocked, as his eyes were still teary. Drew looked up and still was pressing his knuckles, it was revealed that Drew was teary eyed too.

"You think I would hate you, even tho if it weren't you, my live would be a pile or nothing......Jake, you came in my life when I needed it the most, then left unfortunate of the fact I miss being next to you..."

Blush spread across Jake's face as  Drew poured his heart out to him, he still wasn't meet with the fact that this was a confession, he though this was an apology, but Drew's words where soft enough to touch his heart. The wind was blowing and a few rain drops fell. The glumful weather perfectly matched the current situation.

"I want to hug you for eternity, cry in you're shoulder and be with you....forever...."

Drew whispered the last word and finally looked up, Jake's heart melted. He was blushing softly, even tho it was cold outside, he felt warm on the inside. He smiled a little.

"I may be going to far, I sound obsessive...but it's because I-I..."

Jake looked curiously at Drew, as Drew was on the edge of breaking down in tears, since he was already teary eyed.

"...I LOVE YOU, JAKE!"

Drew couldn't hold it in anymore and bursted in tears, the fat tears ran down like crazy. Jake blushed warmly and his eyes widened in shock, he completely froze from those words. The wind blew in a warmy way and the rain drops became a little fewer.

"I can't imagine my life without you! I need you, I miss you! I-I...I ADORE YOU SO MUCH JAKE! I LOVED YOU SINCE MY EYES MET YOURS!"

Drew finished his teary and hearty confession, as he looked away. A kind smile spread on Jake's face and he became teary eyed again, but this time from happiness. The raindrops now became more fewer.

"I'm so sorry for not talking to you, Drew....I've actually missed you too..." Jake admitted. Drew looked up in shock, blushing softly.

"And I've actually....loved you for a long time too....I never had the courage to tell you...I was afraid to lose a close friend like you...I felt so lonely without you...I missed you alot to Drew..." Jake looked away frowning at the last words, shedding a tear. Drew smiled and they were both standing in pure silence, except it was already raining, but that didn't bother them.

"I'll never leave you, Jake... I'll be looking up for you...like I always did..." Drew said as him smiled kindly. Jake was still looking away, shedding tears. Drew couldn't hold it in started running into Jake, giving him a hug.

Jake's eyes widened in shock and he closed his eyes, continuing to cry in Drew's chest, just like he imagined before. They soon let go, their eyes met. They were still holding each other from the hug. Drew stared right in Jake's eyes in a dreamy way, and so did Jake do the same. Drew placed his hand on Jake's cheek, Jake shivered a little from Drew's warm hand. (Drew is canonically shorter then Jake btw) Drew slowly started going closer to Jake's face as he closed his eyes....and....the kiss fell.

The two were finally met in a kiss, and the rain has become wild, the wind completely disappeared and Jake and Drew were found kissing in the rain.

Jake blushed hardly and shed more tears. His eyes soon drifted and closed too. He pulled Drew closer by his waist as Drew cupped Jake's face with his hands. They let go and admired each other's eyes, both blushing and smiling, except Jake was embarrassed. Jake turned his head away in embarrassment, but Drew turned his head back, tilting his head and widening his soft smile.

"I love you, Jake..." Drew said in a heartfelt way.

"I-I love you too!" Jake clarified and pulled Drew in another hug as the rain was just pouring. After the long hug, Jake let go and they both looked at the sky.

"I think it's raining " Jake said.

"No shit, Sherlock, we're totally not soaking wet." Drew said sarcastically grinning, as they both giggled.

"Let's go insider then, shortie~" Jake teased Drew as Drew grinned and blushed, rolling his eyes and smirking.

"Whatever." Drew nodded his head and laughed. They held hands as they went inside...
