________

The bass of the music seemed to vanish, the pulsing vibrations fading into nothing. Taehyung could only hear the heavy thrum of his heartbeat in his ears as he stared right into his uncle's gaze boldly.

Jungkook was standing by the bar across the lawn, surrounded by people Taehyung didn't care sparing a look, a drink in his hand. He didn't blink. Neither he moved. Taehyung could see people around him were talking but Jungkook wasn't listening.

He had all his attention on his nephew.

Taehyung felt a rush of wild adrenaline in his body watching the slight twitch in Jungkook's jaw and the look in those black eyes. It wasn't amusement. It was something else. Something darker.

Taehyung's lips curled into a wicked smirk, his head tilting ever so slightly as if to challenge the gaze boring into him. His hands went to Jake's which were placed on his waist. Holding them, he guided them up his body, helping his trace his curves before rising his own into air.

His see through shirt rose up a little giving a glimpse of his belly.

As Taehyung tilted his head sultrily, Jake's hands moved up his arms. He snaked his arms around the other's neck. With his alcoholic eyes trained at his uncle, he grinded against Jake again.

He heard the male cursing in his ear. The wicked smile on Taehyung's lips only widened.

He saw a smirk curling up Jungkook's lips. The dark look in his eyes now replaced by something playful. Taehyung sidestepped Jake with the beats and walked to stand behind him. Hugging the male from behind, he licked Jake's ear only to nibble at it like a wild cat, his teasing eyes trained at his uncle.

Jungkook looked away momentarily as if trying to control his chuckle.

It made Taehyung smile as well. He stick his tongue out playfully and pulled his hands away from Jake and twirled around only to fall into the male's arm.

Jungkook made an impressed face and raised his drink in acknowledgement telling Taehyung that he was enjoying the little show.

The boy looked at him narrowly, an eyebrow raised in a silent dare. Jungkook just gave him a light shrug, shaking his head knowingly and went back to conversation. Taehyung made a face, but his eyes widened when the song changed.

Hold on tight by Aespa blared through the speakers. The look on Jake's face told him that he liked the song just as much. He forgot about his uncle and let out an excited squeal.

As the beats shook the dance floor, Taehyung stepped away from Jake to jump and dance. In no time, everyone was singing at the top of their lungs. Taehyung laughed joining them, but he giggled even more watching how everyone was being so crazy.

He danced like a madman. Jake pulled him away from the dance floor to take him to the game of beer pong where Jimin and his other cousins were already having a go at it. Taehyung found Vera there too and for some reason, he didn't hate her that much.

The boy totally ignored her existence. Taehyung won the game thrice out of the seven times he tried. The male chugged the three drinks down and went back to the dance floor.

He felt so lightheaded.

By the time he was done with the dance floor, he was exhausted. And sweating. The alcohol was getting the best out of him. The male fanned himself with his hand as he looked around. Jake had gone somewhere saying he will be back in a minute.

The party was almost over. Or so it seemed. The crowd has dissipated. People who could walk, they left for homes. Some were perched on the grass passed out while others were throwing up somewhere in washroom. Let's not talk about the ones who have found themselves a room and were going at 'it'.

Taehyung blinked as alcohol rushed in his veins.

It wasn't the first time he drunk but still, the influence was getting to him. He loved the way the cold wind felt against his face, against his skin through the see through shirt he was wearing. He tugged at his buttons wanting to remove the shirt but stopped.

He was feeling hot, but he was sane enough to stay in his mind.

Jake returned a few minutes later with a bright grin on his face. Taehyung looked at him curiously with a hazy mind.

The boy pointed his thumb over his shoulder. "They are having a bonfire. It will be a really stupid game of truth and dare. Nothing interesting..."He explained. "You wanna join them? Or..." He trailed off.

Taehyung just wanted to sit. No talks. Just to sit. Or maybe sleep. His head was spinning but he didn't want to go home yet. It was fun here. He was enjoying.  "Let's join them."

Jake's smile faltered just slightly. It wasn't even noticeable. It went away as soon as it came. He nodded readily. "Let's go."

A drunken smile appeared on Taehyung's face, but he stumbled as he took a step. Jake held him right in time, a concerned look on his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked. Taehyung looked up at him with eyes which refused to open fully. "Am good."

"You sure?"

"Um hmm..." He nodded giving the same childish smile again. Jake couldn't stop himself from cooing internally. The game was already going on when they reached there. Both of them took their places quietly as everyone waited for the bottle to stop at someone.

Taehyung leaned into Jake, resting his head against the male's shoulder as he fanned himself subtly and looked around. He noticed Jimin beside Vera again. Alexa, the bartender was also there. Alexa-play dynamite, he wanted to say.

The thought made him giggle which he suppressed by covering his mouth.

His hooded gaze moved on until it stopped at Jungkook.

His heart skipped a beat.

He remembered looking around for his uncle earlier after the game of beer pong, but he was nowhere. Taehyung thought he left but watching him sitting there made him happy for some reason.

He removed his eyes from the male momentarily when everyone hooted as the bottle stopped at a girl. She chose a dare and ended up kissing a random person. The music played in the background. Taehyung's gaze returned to Jungkook again.

Golden light from the bonfire played on his edgy jawline making it appear sharper. His black hair fell upon his forehead like always. Jungkook pushed a hand through his hair as if on cue and his eyes found Taehyung.

The boy felt a warmth settling in his stomach.

Another series of cheer broke down, but Taehyung kept staring at his uncle with his alcoholic eyes. To his surprise, Jungkook also didn't look away. A drunken smile appeared on Taehyung's lips. He blinked softly, too softly.

Taehyung's skin glistened with sweat. Alcohol always messed up with his system. The temperature fluctuations in his body were normal every time he drunk. His brown eyes held something which made him appear so vulnerable as he stared at Jungkook, but his lips still held the smile as if he got the world.

The bottle was spun again, and it stopped at someone.

"It's Jake!" Someone said.

"Dare." He chose.

"Confess something you never have."

Taehyung blinked again watching his uncle. Words were reaching his ears in a faded echo. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Jake when he saw Jungkook's eyes moving to him. Jake was already watching Taehyung.

The boy looked around himself to know why he was looking at him like that but everyone else was also looking at him. The confusion in his features only intensified. His eyes found Jimin who looked at him as if he was enjoying.

Enjoying what?

Taehyung looked at Jake again when the other held his hand. The boy suppressed a hiccup cluelessly. Jake licked his lips, a nervousness in his eyes.

"Why are you nervous?" He questioned the boy who smiled. Looking down at his hand, his gaze found Taehyung again. "Taehyung..." He began licking his lips. "You remember when we met the first time?"

Taehyung shook his head like a kid.

Jake smiled while a series of 'aww' filled the air. The male squeezed Taehyung's hand. "Last year, I went to the store to buy a book, but I didn't realize and forgot my wallet at home. I didn't have the money. The book was already billed. Everyone was judging me, and it was so embarrassing. That's when I saw you. Maybe you saw my red ears or heated face, but you paid for that book."

Taehyung watched Jake trying to remember. He didn't.

Jake paused momentarily only to continue ahead.  "Your smile was so comforting that I couldn't even refuse. I tried to look for you so that I could return your money. I saw you on the beach a few days later. I was so happy when I found out that we were neighbors. I really wanted to come to you that day but then I thought that maybe instead of money, I should give you a book."

"What happened after that?" Someone asked.

Taehyung was watching Jake curiously who smiled. "I bought you a book, knocked at your place but you were not home. And then.... summers were over."

Taehyung blinked softly as if he was a porcelain doll.

Jake looked down at their hands. "I couldn't stop thinking about you all year. I don't know... I just couldn't wait to come back and see you again. We arrived just yesterday, and I went to see you again so that I could invite you for the party, but Jimin said you were sleeping. So, I just told him to tell you that you were invited."

Jake took a deep breathe. "By now, you must have figured it out that I have a thing for you, Tae... if you didn't... well... I really like you." He gave a nervous laugh. The male licked his lips as he waited for Taehyung to say something but the other didn't.

He was in a daze. His mind was half asleep. He just needed a bed, and he will be snoring like a pig.

Jake peeked into Taehyung's eyes who watched him blinking now and then. He got reminded of the moment in the living room when Taehyung had closed his eyes, inviting him in for a kiss. His gaze drifted down to the boy's plump lips.

Searching Taehyung's eyes again for any hint of disapproval, he kissed the boy.

Taehyung's eyes widened. He could hear everyone around them hooting. Jake was cupping his face and kissing him so gently. He sat there stunned for a minute but closed his eyes and kissed him back.

His response made Jake smile brightly.

The male pulled back and looked at Taehyung. His blue eyes sparkled brighter than the stars. Taehyung looked at him confused wondering why the other stopped.

Jake got up and pulled Taehyung by his hand. Everyone hooted and laughed watching Jake taking Taehyung inside the house.

As soon as they were in living room, Jake pinned him to the wall and kissed him again. Taehyung moaned, his fingers finding home in the other's hair. The hotness he was feeling earlier just intensified.

In that moment, he was too wasted to think of anything. He opened his mouth inviting the boy in and Jake did.

His tongue swirled around the insides of Taehyung's mouth who caressed his back with one hand encouraging him. Soon, Jake was all over him. His hands on Taehyung's body and his mouth on Taehyung's neck while the other arched his back moaning.

Flashes of certain black eyes piercing right into his soul clouded his mind.

The image of tatted hands over him, his uncle's hungry mouth devouring him like an animal frustrated him. He wanted that wildness that he had imagined. The primal need that could swallow him whole. A touch that could leave him shuddering and growls that could melt his knees.

He wanted his uncle.

Taehyung tried to push Jungkook out of his mind. Jimin said he was not enjoying his life by being stuck on something as stupid as his childhood crush. Jungkook was his uncle. He shouldn't think about him in all those ways.

So, he tried. He tried to forget about his imaginations and focused on how Jake made him feel. Jake was also a good choice for losing his virginity. He was tall. He was muscular, not that much but yes. He was sweet and he liked Taehyung too.

He had blue eyes. Blue eyes that girls are crazy about. Jake was twenty-two and it could work. Even if didn't, they could enjoy it until it lasts. He nodded closing his eyes tightly as if physically blocking out any image that could appear in his mind but as if his body had a mind of its own, he pushed the male away from himself.

Jake looked at him taken aback. A look of concern crossed his eyes. "Taehyung... a-are you okay?"

The boy nodded wiping his lips. "Am fine."

"I-"

"I need to go. I am sorry..." He apologized. Not giving him another chance to speak, he walked away from there. His head was throbbing. Everything around him was spinning.

Taehyung breathed through his mouth as he tried to calm his racing heart, his chest rising and falling erratically but he gasped when he bumped into something hard in the lobby just outside the living room.

The boy rubbed his head looking up only to find his uncle standing there looking at Taehyung with hard eyes. His heart thudded wild in his chest at the sight of the man but the light twitch in Jungkook's jaw made the boy blink perplexed.

"Uncle Jeon?" He whispered as he still rubbed his forehead.

Jungkook just poked his inner cheek. "You done playing?"

"What?" The furrow in Taehyung's eyebrows only deepened. He couldn't decipher the look in his uncle's eyes. He looked angry. Why was he angry?

Jungkook didn't say anything. He just held Taehyung's hand to take him away from there. One step and everything around the boy rotated again. He stumbled again making the other grit his teeth.

"You are so fucking childish, Taehyung...." Jungkook spat and picked him up. Taehyung's eyes widened at the sudden action. He immediately wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck who didn't spare him another look and walked away holding the boy bridal style.
