Chapter 50

(Author Note: I can't believe we are in chapter 50 in this book. This is crazy. But I'm sad to say this book is almost going to come to an end. I really hope you guys enjoyed this book)

9 month mark

Emily is going to give birth

Emily POV

I woke up this morning with a pain on my lower back. Today is the day I'm supposed to give birth to my child. I can't believe I'm going to see Amy today. She is going to be in my arms for the first time today. I looked at my phone to see it's 10:30 in the morning. We are back in London and Niall is finished with his festivals which I'm glad and now he can spend time with me and Amy. My pain is gone now and tried to go back to sleep again but the pain came back.

"Niall" I said tried to wake him up but he won't wake up "Niall" I said a little bit louder and slapped his chest to wake up and he woke up

"What? What happened?" he asked as he sat up on the bed and opened his eyes

"It hurts again" I told him and he gave me a sad smile

"Does it hurt on your lower back?" he asked and I nodded "Do you feel contractions?" he asked

"Yeah" I told him

"Okay. First of all, concentrate on your breathing. I want you to copy me breathe in and out" he said and I copied his breathing "Second of all, you're contraction has to 45 to 60 seconds. They will need to occur 3 to 4 minutes. We have to wait at least two hours before heading to the hospital. Do you want to walk around the house?" he asked me

"Yeah I do. But I have a question for you" I told him as he helped me to get up from the bed

"And that is?" he asked

"How do you know these stuff? I'm the one who is going to give birth and I'm supposed to know them" I told him and he chuckled as we went down the stairs

"The other day when you were taking a nap beside me. I decided to do some research on this whole birth thing because I haven't experienced it before. That's how I know all of this" he said

"Oh that's why. I was wondering how did you become smart" I told him and he gave me a playful glare

"Hey I always became smart okay. Now do you want to have this baby today?" he asked me as he kissed my belly to make me smile

"Yes, but I want a kiss too" I told him

"Hmm, let me think about it" he said as he pretended to think about it and I pouted at him "Okay, now you're just being cute. You know you can't do that. That is illegal" he said

I giggled as he kissed my lips twice.

"One more?" I asked him

He dramatically sighed and gave me an another kiss.

"You ready to have this baby?" he asked me

"Yes. Are you?" I asked him as we walked around the living room while holding our hands

"Yes I am. I can't wait to hold her for the first time today" he said

"Yeah me too" I told him

"Now let's go get our baby" Niall said as he kissed my lips one more time and we walked around the house

Finally. We are at the hospital. My water broke when Niall and I were walking around the house for a bit and I'm ready to get this baby out. When we got to the hospital they immediately put me onto the bed. I have wires everywhere and they immediately put me on the epidural which hurts so much but I'm glad Niall was there to help me.

The nurse went out to get the doctor. Since my water broke we have to wait for a bit before pushing the baby out. I'm excited to see Amy today. I'm going to hold her and do everything with her today which I'm excited for. Niall is sitting on a chair that's beside me and he is holding my hand. He noticed that I was looking at him and he smiled.

"What's going on that pretty head of yours?" Niall asked me and I smiled at him

"I just love you" I told him and he smiled bigger if that's possible

"Oh yeah and you know what?" he asked me

"What?" I asked him and he kissed my cheek

"I love you more" he said

"Impossible" I told him

"Possible babe and I'm not going to have this conversation with you again" he said and I giggled and he kissed my lips

"When Amy comes who will you love more her or me?" I asked him

"Oh you can't ask me this question. That was evil. You know that right?" he asked me

"No it wasn't. I just want to know. I know who you are going to choose" I told him

"Oh yeah. Who will it be?" he asked me

"Amy" I told him

"Maybe" he said

"Is that true?" I asked him and that's when the doctor came to the room and now I know it's time

Amy is going to come out and she is going to be in my arms in a few hours.

Niall POV

Amy May Horan is in my arms right now. I can't believe we have this beautiful baby girl in my arms right now. Emily is asleep on the bed which she absolutely needs. She did a terrific job on giving birth to Amy and she deserves this sleep because she hasn't slept in days because of her pain.

I looked down at Amy who is asleep. The nurses were coming in and out our room to check on the baby and to see if she is good and see if we can go home tomorrow. I looked at Amy and she is sleeping peacefully. I can't believe at the age of 30 I have a baby. I thought I should wait to have a kid but since it's all of sudden then I'm so happy with it.

I heard someone coming into our room and it's one of the nurses and she smiled at me.

"How's she doing?" the nurse asked me

"She is doing good. Just sleeping. Both of them are sleeping" I told her as I looked at Emily

"Is it your first time being a parent?" she asked

"Yes it is" I told him

"Are you excited to be a dad for Amy?" the nurse asked and I looked at her name tag and her name is Jade

"Yes I'm excited and nervous" I told her

"Yeah I know. The first time it will be nerve wracking indeed but at the end of it you'll be a great father for Amy right here" she said and I smiled at her

"Great, I appreciate it that" I told her and she smiled

"You're welcome. The reason I just needed to check if everything is alright with her. So, can you lay here on her bed?" Jade asked me and I nodded

I got up with Amy in my arms and gently laid her down on her bed.

"Are we able to go home tomorrow?" I asked her as she checked on Amy

"Yeah everything seems fine. I just need to check with other the nurses and the doctor and see if you guys could go home tomorrow" she said as she finished checking on Amy

"Okay thank you" I told her and she smiled at me

"You're welcome and you have a nice day now. I will be back in a couple of hours to check up on her" she said and I smiled

"Okay thank you" I told her

She smiled and left the room.

"Niall" I heard Emily say

I walked over to Emily's bed and saw that she is waking up.

"Well, good morning beautiful" I told her

"Is it morning?" she asked and I chuckled

"No it's only 5 in the evening. Did you have a good sleep?" I asked her

"Yeah. I kind of overheard you talking to the nurse. Are we able to go home tomorrow?" she asked and I smiled at her

"Was someone ears dropping?" I asked her and she giggled a bit

"Maybe" she said and I chuckled

"We might get to leave tomorrow. Are you excited to go back home?" I asked her

"Yeah I am. You know I hate hospital rooms and I can't wait to go home and back and cuddle with you. You know I miss cuddling with you" she said

"Yeah I know me too. Even though we were sleeping on the same bed. I couldn't cuddle with you because of your belly and now I can cuddle with you all the time I want" I told her

"Me too. I missed the past few months cuddling with you. Wait. Is Amy asleep?" she asked me

"Yeah one of the nurses came to check on her and she is fast asleep. Why?" I asked her

Instead of answering me she just lifted her bedsheets up so I could crawl in and cuddle with her.

"I just don't want to hurt you arm with all of the wires around you" I told her and she rolled her eyes

"You are not going to hurt me. Please come and cuddle with me" she said as she pouted her lips

"Do you really want me to cuddle with you?" I asked her

"Yes" she said

"Okay fine" I told her as I laid down beside her and I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead

I miss this so much. I missed her being in my arms. I just miss holding her in my arms overall.

"I miss this" she said

"I feel like you just read my mind because I missed this too" I told her and she looked at me

"Really?" she asked

"Of course and I can't wait to cuddle you like this again" she said

"Me too" I told her

"Kiss?" she asked as she pursued her lips towards me

"What if I don't want to kiss you?" I asked her jokingly

"Okay fine if you don't want to kiss me then bye you can get out of my bed" she said as she has she looked the other way

"Oh come on . You know I was joking. You know I want to kiss your lips" I told her as I tried to face her towards me so I could kiss her lips but she won't budge

I smiled and leaned down to kiss her neck to make her giggle.

"Niall stop. You are going to wake up Amy" she said while trying to push my head away but I didn't budge

"I'll stop if you let me kiss you" I told her

"No" she said

"Okay then" I told her as I bit her neck to make her laugh

"Okay. Okay. I'll give you kiss. Stop before you wake up our baby" she said

I smiled and gave her one last kiss on the neck before looking at her.

"You're mean" she said as she tapped my nose with her finger and I chuckled

"No I'm not. I know you love me" I told her

"And when did I say that?" she asked with a smile on her face

"Okay. That's it. You're getting a kiss" I told her

She giggled and I kissed her lips to make her smile.
