Chapter 44

Emily POV

After lunch, we came back to the hotel. Niall and I watched a movie before getting ready. Niall already got ready and he sitting on the couch in the living room. I told him I wouldn't take long but he said take a lot of time I need. I decided to wear this dress for our date tonight.

I know it's March but in Cabo March weather it's pretty hot. It's like summer here. I really like our trip so far but we have to go home in a few days and go back to work. Since the tour starts back up next week. I love touring trust me but it is so busy with work that there's no time for me time. I decided to put on light makeup and I decided to straighten my hair. I looked myself in the mirror before getting up from my spot. I went to the dresser that this hotel room has. I put some perfume on and then looked at myself in the mirror if everything was okay. I don't know but every time Niall and I go on a date I always get nervous and I have these negative questions running through my head every time I get ready and I don't know why. After I got ready I took a deep breath before heading to the door.

"Niall" I said

"Yes petal. Are you ready?" he asked

"Yes but can you stay at your spot first?" I asked him

"Yeah. Is it a surprise for me?" he asked

"Yes" I told him

"Alright. I'll wait in my spot" he said

I took a deep breath before heading out of the bedroom. I got out of the bedroom and I looked at Niall. He is wearing this outfit.

"Wow" Niall said as he walked over to me

"Is it a good wow or bad wow?" I asked him

"It's a good wow. Trust me, you look beautiful" he said as he gave me a hug and I hugged him back

"Thank you. You look handsome" I told him

"Thank you. You ready to go out?" he asked

"Yes and just letting you know I booked a Uber' I told Niall

"Why did you book a Uber? We have a car" he said

"I know but I don't want you to know about this date" I told him

"So, is someone being sneaky?" Niall asked me as he kissed my cheek to make me smile

"Maybe" I told him

"Okay. Did you know you look beautiful? I think we should stay in and not go out" he said as he kissed my cheek a couple of times to make me giggle

"No Niall we are going out. We are not staying in okay mister" I told him as I was about hit the top of his head but he held my hands

"Okay. I get it. No more abusing me okay" he said and I giggled

"Okay. You ready to go?" I asked him as I looked at my phone to see the Uber is here

"Yes I am. Let's go. But can I know where are we going?" he asked

"Nope. That's for me to know and you to find out" I told him as he held my hand and we headed out of the hotel and went to the elevator

"Is someone using my line?" Niall asked as we got into the elevator

Niall wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to me.

"Maybe" I told him

"You're so lucky I love you or else I would do something because you are using my line" he said and I giggled

"I love you too" I told him as I looked at him and he looked at me

"Good" he said as he kissed my lips. I smiled and kissed him back.

"When did you find this place?" Niall asked

We arrived at this cute dinner place that's beside the beach. It's an outdoor restaurant and I know people will come walking by and maybe recognize Niall and I but for right now I don't care if anyone is watching us. I just want to spend time with Niall. We walked inside the restaurant and the waiter took us to our table. We got to our seat and the waiter handed us the menu and then left.

"I found it when we were having lunch. I just booked the reservation online" I told him as I opened the menu

"Well, it looks good. Also, there's the beach. Maybe we should go for swim" Niall said as he wiggled his eyebrows and I rolled my eyes

"I'm not going for a swim because one I don't want to ruin my dress and two it's almost getting late. I don't want to get sick since it might be cold at night" I told him and he chuckled

"I know. I'm just joking" he said and I smiled at him

"Sure you were. What do you want to eat?" I asked him as he was looking at the menu

"I don't know. There so many good options" Niall said and I giggled and he smiled at me "What are you getting?" he asked

"I might get the wings and chips" I told him

"I think so too plus a cheeseburger too" he said

"Can I share the cheeseburger with you?" I asked him as I gave him my puppy dog eyes

One thing about Niall is that he won't share food with you if you beg him. He saw my look and he sighed

"Fine, you can. I hate it when you do that" he said and I smiled

"But you know you love me" I told him

"Maybe" he said and I looked at him

"Did you just say maybe?" I asked him

"Maybe I love you" he said

"Niall" I told him as I threw a napkin at him and he covered himself with his hands so I don't hit him

"I'm joking. You know I love you" he said

I was going to say something but the waiter came back. We told the waiter what we wanted. He wrote down what we wanted and then left.

"Yeah sure. You love me" I told Niall and he laughed

"I do. I was joking with the maybe" he said

"Yeah sure" I sighed

I looked down at my lap and Niall came closer to me. He grabbed my hand and kissed my cheek to make me smile.

"See I know you still love me" Niall said

"Darn it. I hate it when you do that" I told him as I looked at him and he laughed "Stop laughing" I told him as I slapped his chest lightly

"I'm sorry but you look adorable and pretty today" he said and I smiled shyly "Oh, don't go shy on me now" he said

"I'm not going shy on you" I told him

"Yes you are. You have this shy look" he said

"I don't have a look" I told him as I looked at him

"Yes you do. Whenever you get shy you either look away from me or look down on your lap" he said

"How do you know that?" I asked him

"Because I just know you Em" he said

"That's good but I wasn't getting shy" I told him and I tried to defend myself but I know it was useless

"Yes you did. Let's talk about something else have you talked to Megan since we came to Cabo?" Niall asked me as he played with my hair and I smiled at him

"Yes I talked to her today. Apparently she has a date tonight" I told him

"She does?" he asked

"Yep" I told him

"Where did she meet this guy?" he asked

"Online. They have been talking for a while online and today is their first date" I told him

"Do you have a picture of the guy?" he asked

"Is someone being overprotective?" I asked him with a smile on my face

"Maybe. Even though we hate each other sometimes. She is like a sister to me. I just want to make sure she is going out with a decent guy" he said

"Well, if you want to know. Here is a picture of him" I told Niall

I grabbed my phone from my purse and I unlocked it. I opened my message with Megan and showed Niall the picture of the guy that Megan is going on a date with.

"He looks a decent guy. He must be a good guy to her" Niall said as he handed me my phone back

"Yeah he must be and he is hot" I told Niall to get a raise out of him

"He is what now?" Niall asked me and I just looked at Marks picture who is Megan going on a date with

"Nothing. Look the food is here" I told Niall as the waiter brought our food and then left

"Hello. You're not getting out of the hook that easily" Niall said as he put 2 fingers under my chin to make me look at him "Tell me what you said right now"

"Like I said I didn't say anything right now and there's food it's going to get cold" I told him

Niall just smiled at me and kissed my cheek a couple of times to make me giggle.

"I'm letting you off the hook now since we are at a restaurant. But, you're going to get your punishment later" Niall said as he pointed his finger at me as I grabbed some wings

"Oh I'm scared" I said and he poked my side to make me giggle

"You better be" he said as he stopped poking me and we both ate our dinner
