Emily's birthday

Emily POV

"Petal wake up" I heard Niall say

I felt Niall press kisses on my skin but I didn't want to wake up. It's my birthday. Can I sleep in? I don't know what time is it but it's too early for my body. We are in LA and I think that's why my body is still asleep even though we arrived a couple of days ago. LA weather is better than London weather. It's so warm even though it's November which is supposed to be cold but not for LA. It wants to be hot which I don't mind. But it's my birthday today and I should sleep and not waking up early.

"Come on petal. I need you to get up. It's almost noon" Niall said

I did my best not to wake up even though he is kissing my skin. But he tickled me to wake me up. I woke up with my eyes open and laughing.

"Niall stop" I laughed

"Are you up?" he asked

I looked at him and he is above me and smiling at me.

"Yes I'm awake. Now stop" I told him

He stopped tickling me and he looked at me with a smile on his face like he accomplished something.

"Why did you do that?" I asked him as I played with his hair

"I had to get you up eventually. I was kissing your skin and that didn't wake you up" he said

"That did wake me up. I just didn't wake up" I told him

"You cheeky little girl. Happy birthday" he said and I giggled

"Thank you" I told him and kissed his lips

"I have a fun day planned for you" he said

"Oh yeah. Can I know what we are doing?" I asked him

"I could only tell you what we are doing this afternoon. Do you remember how you said you wanted to go Venice Beach? But we hadn't gotten the chance because we have been busy" he said

"Yeah" I told him

"Well, we are going there today" he said and I had a smile on my face

"Really?" I asked him

"Yeah. Are you excited?" he asked

"Yes I am" I told him and he kissed my lips

"Okay. Why don't you get up? So, you can get ready" he said

"If I need to get up then you need to get off of me" I told him and he chuckled

"Oh yeah I forgot about that" he said as he got off of me and I giggled

I got up from the bed and went to get changed in the bathroom. Before I went to the bathroom I heard Niall call my name and I turned to face him.

"Yeah" I told him

"You know how we are going to the beach today?" he asked

"Yeah" I told him

"You should wear your black or red bikini. You look hot in those" he said and I couldn't help but blush

"Oh really? Do I?" I asked him

"Yes you do and any guy looks like at you in that bikini. I will tell them back off. She's mine" he said and I giggled

"Okay. I'll wear one of them. Just for you" I told him

"And maybe I can take it off?" he asked

"Nope. Not at the beach mister. I don't want everyone see my naked body" I told him and he chuckled

"You're right. I don't want everyone to see either except for me" he said with a smirk on his face

"Are you trying to make me blush this morning? Because it's working" I told him

"Maybe and it's the afternoon. Now go take a shower" he said and I smiled at him

I went to the bathroom and went to take a shower.

We arrived at the beach and there wasn't that many people here since it's a work day which is good for me. I'm very insecure about my body and I don't care if Niall sees it. I just care about everybody else seeing it and how they judge me.

"Just letting you know this a very popular beach and we might get photographed by paparazzi. If you see the pictures on twitter or instagram later. Just don't read the hate comments alright" Niall said as we sat our stuff down as we came close to the water

"But what if sees me like you're fans and judge me?" I asked him

"Just don't listen to them. Just listen to me saying that you're beautiful okay" he said

"Okay" I said shyly

He smiled and walked over to me. He put his hands around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"I love you and that's all you need to know" he said as he kissed my forehead

"I love you too" I told him as I hugged him and he hugged me back

"You ready to go for a swim?" Niall asked me as we pulled away from the hug

"Yeah" I told him as I took my jacket off that I was wearing

I was wearing my bikini underneath my jacket. I didn't want anyone just see me with my bikini so I wore my jacket and shorts. Once I took everything off I looked at Niall to see he was looking at me with loving in his eyes.

"What?" I asked him

"You look hot. I just want to take you home and lock us in a room for the day or maybe rest of the 2 months we are here" he said as he walked over to me

I couldn't help but laugh on what he just said.

"Why do you want to lock us in a room for 2 months?" I asked him as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck

"So, I can devour you of course" he said

I blushed and hid my face on his hairy chest. He chuckled and kissed my head.

"I'm so happy spending your birthday with you" he said and I looked at him

"Really? So, you can look at me with my bikini on" I told him and he laughed

"That and I could spend time with you" he said

"I'm glad I'm spending time with you too" I told him and he smiled at me

"Okay, let's go for a swim yeah" he said as he kissed my lips and I nodded

"Catch me if you can" I told him as I ran away from him and I looked back to see he is following behind me

"Oh. I'm going to get you" he said and I squealed when he said that

I was giggling when we went to the water and Niall came to the water with me. I couldn't help but splash him with water. He was shocked when I splashed him with water but I giggled at him.

"You think that's funny?" he asked me

"Yes. What are you going to do about it?" I asked him and he splashed water back at me "Niall" I giggled and tried to cover my face with the water but I couldn't

"This what you get for splashing water at me" he said

I giggled and splashed water at him we both splashed water at each at the same time.

Niall POV

It's been few hours since we went to the beach and had lunch. I let Emily choose to go for lunch because one it's her birthday and two it's her second time coming to La. she chose to go to Chick Fil A which I don't mind. I had it once or twice and this is my third time having it and it taste good. Once we finished with Chick Fila A this girl demanded to get Starbucks. So, to make her happy I drove us to Starbucks. We got to Starbucks and she ordered her drink and she told me the same drink that she has which is pumpkin spice latte. I drank it and im like how do people like this especially her. She is drinking it like it if it's coke which is her favourite drink.

"How do you like this?" I asked her as I drove us to the next destination

"What? You don't like it?" she asked as she looked at me while I looked at the road

"No. It tastes so bad. It has a weird taste" I told her

"If it's a weird taste for you then you're weird" she said as she drank her drink

"I'm weird. Really? Says the person who is drinking the latte" I told her

"Hey. I like it okay" she said

"I know I'm just messing with you petal" I told her

"That was mean" she mumbled

When we came to a red stop I leaned over to her and kissed her cheek to make her smile.

"Does that forgive me for being mean?" I asked her

"Maybe" she said shyly and I chuckled "Where are we going?" she asked

"That's for me to know and you to find out" I told her and she pouted at me as I drove again "You can't give me the puppy dog eyes because I'm not going to fall for it" I told her as I held her hand with one hand and my other hand is holding onto the wheel

"Darn it" she said and I chuckled and I brought her hand to my lips and kissed the back of her hand

"You will 20 minutes" I told her

"But that's so long" she whined and I couldn't help but laugh "Hey. Don't laugh at me" she said

"I'm sorry but you're just being adorable right now" I told her and she blushed a little

I'm taking Emily to the studio. She never been to a studio before and I'm taking her today. I'm not just only taking her to the studio. I'm going to let her listen the full album since it's finished. She's been asking for listening for the whole album but I couldn't let her listen to it since it's here in LA.

I booked the studio just for ourselves so we could listen the songs just by ourselves. Heaven and Meltdown is out and Emily loves those songs. I just hope she loves the whole album since it's about her. The whole album is literally about her because this girl literally is my world and I don't know what I would do without her.

We arrived at the studio and Emily gasped when we parked in front of the studio.

"You brought me to the studio?" she asked as she looked at me

"Yep. I just need to get something that I forgot the other day" I said trying to play it cool

I don't want to tell her yet. I want to tell her when we get inside.

"Oh okay" she said

"You can come with me if you want" I told her as I looked at her

"Okay" she said as she took her seatbelt off

We both got out of the car and I walked over to her and held her hand. We went inside and I said hi to a few people that I know. We went to the studio which I booked for the evening.

"What do you need to get?" Emily asked me and I looked at her

I walked over to her and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I lied when I said I needed to get something" I told her and she looked at me with a confused look on her face "You might be wondering why I lied to you. I lied to you because I wanted to tell you this when we came inside" I told her

"What do you need to tell me?" she asked

"We came here because you get to listen the full album" I told her

I looked at her face and she squealed with excitement. I couldn't help but chuckle when I looked at her because she looks so adorable when she get excited.

"Really" she asked

"Yeah. It's all done. I sent to one of the producers here in LA so he can work on his magic. I didn't let you listen to the full album since it's here and not in London" I told him

"This is amazing Niall. I get to hear the album and I know it's going to sound amazing because the last two songs that you released was amazing. Is this album going to make me cry?" she asked and I chuckled

"There's this one song. Do you remember when I wrote you could start a cult?" I asked her and she nodded "Well, that song turned into a sad song and it's about you. This whole album is literally about you because you have changed my life Em. You made me happy and made me become a better person. I just want to say thank you for being in my life and without you. I don't know what I would do with myself" I told her

I looked at her and she has tears streaming down her face.

"Oh petal. I didn't mean to make you cry" I told her as I hugged her

"I'm sorry it's just those words you said to me it's so sweet. I don't know what to say. You've changed my life to in a good way. I don't know how but you did. Like you said what I did to you. You did the same thing to me" she said as she looked at me

"Really?" I asked her and she nodded "I love you. Did you know that?" I asked her

"I love you too" she said as she smiled at me

"Good. You ready to listen to the album?" I asked her

"Yes" she said excitedly and I chuckled at her

She sat down on the couch and went to the computer and went to find the album. John told me where he put it on the computer and I found it.

"Do you want to skip the first song since it's Heaven and go on to the second?" I asked Emily as she was getting comfortable on the couch

"I want to hear the whole album including Heaven and Meltdown" she said

"Okay" I told her and played Heaven

I got up from my spot and walked over to Emily. I sat down beside her and I pulled her into my lap to make her squeal.

"Best birthday present ever" she said as she looked at me

"Yeah. Is it?" I asked her

"Yes it is. What is the album called?" she asked

"The Show" I told her

"Perfect name for the perfect album" she said as she peak me on the lips

We listened to the album together and some songs we danced to since it's an upbeat song and some songs we just stood up and hugging each other. I couldn't help and give her kisses while we swayed back and forth.

"I like this song" Emily mumbled as we listened to you could start a cult

"Yeah. You do? It's about you. Did you know that?" I asked her and she looked at me with a slight blush on her cheek

"Really?" she asked me

"Yeah. It's a love song basically saying I'll go anywhere you want me to go. If it's through a fire or something else. I'll go with you. I'll go with you wherever you want to go no matter the place is" I told her

"You're the best. Did you know that?" she asked and I chuckled

"I might've heard it once or twice" I told her as I peaked her lips

Next song which is Save My Life and Emily immediately started dancing and I couldn't help but dance with her. On A Night Like Tonight came on she stopped dancing and listened to the song.

"Oh this song sounds good" she said as she listened to the lyrics

"I can't wait to perform it live next year" I told her and she looked at me

"I can't wait to hear it live" she said as she kissed my lips which made me smile

The next song was Science I couldn't help but go behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist and sway her back and forth.

"This song is pretty" Emily said

I put my chin on her shoulder and kissed her neck to make her smile.

"Oh yeah? You like it?" I asked her as I looked at her and she looked at me

"Yeah. I love it" she said

The last song of The Show is called Must Be Love. I danced with Emily with this one. When The Show ended I couldn't help but dip Emily to make her giggle.

"Did you like it?" I asked her as I brought her back to my arms

"I love it. It's going to be the best album of the year" she said

"Yeah. You think so?" I asked her

"Yeah. I know so. Thanks for letting me hear it. I love it already. I can't wait to hear again and again when it comes out" she said and I chuckled

"I wanted you to hear it to bring a fans perspective since you're still a fan of me. Since you enjoyed it, I know the fans will enjoy it" I told her

"Oh they will. Trust me. This might be the best album you're going to put out" she said

"Oh yeah. You think this might be the best album of the year!" I asked her

"I don't think. It's the best album of the year. If you don't win a Grammy for this. I'm going to talk to some people" she said

I laughed and pulled her into a hug.

"You're crazy but I love you" I told her as I kissed her face to make her giggle

"Niall stop" she giggled and I did but I pressed a long kiss on her lips

She smiled and kissed me back.

I love this girl so much and I don't know what I would do without her.

Author Note: wow. This might be the longest chapter I've ever written. I love this chapter so much and I'm proud of chapter since it's more detailed in my perspective. The next couple of chapters Emily is meeting Niall's LA friends. I hope you like this chapter and the next couple of chapters that are coming.
