Seungmin bounced his leg, gently pushing his food around with his fork as he watched Minho eat hungrily.

"So, Minho. You're studying to be a lawyer, correct?" Mrs Kim questioned Minho suddenly, causing him to glance back over at her for a brief moment.

Minho nodded quickly. "Yes ma'am." He replied politely. "My mother also went into law so..." Minho trailed off as he glanced at Seungmin.

"That's lovely. Do you enjoy it?" She asked him curiously, resting her chin on her palm as she gazed at Minho thoughtfully.

"At most, yes," Minho answered shortly after a few seconds. "I find it interesting, and it keeps me busy for a while during the day." He explained.

"I'm glad you find it interesting. I've always wanted Seungmin to become a lawyer but he never seemed interested in becoming one so I decided not to push it." Mrs Kim sighed fondly, glancing over at her son.

"How about we talk about something else," Jeongin suggested lightly, noticing how Seungmin had tensed up slightly.

Mrs Kim glanced over at her youngest son before turning her gaze towards Minho again. "How long have you known Seungmin?" She asked, tilting her head slightly curiously.

"Well, we've had most classes together in school, but we only started talking properly when we were told about the marriage," Minho explained casually, taking a sip of water as his eyes shifted momentarily to Seungmin.

Mrs Kim hummed softly in response, nodding her head as she took a bite of her food. "Oh! You must have known each other since you were children then?" Mrs Kim questioned in surprise, turning towards Seungmin.

"..Yeah," Seungmin replied softly with a nod of his head.

"So are you guys friends? How come you two argued when we were at Mrs Lee's house." Mrs Kim asked curiously, frowning slightly.

"Well.. we weren't necessarily friends," Minho answered awkwardly, glancing over at Seungmin who was fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.

Seungmin sighed softly, meeting Minho's eyes briefly before looking at his mother. "We kind of just stuck to our own friend groups." He explained softly.

"What friend groups did you two keep in contact with?" Mrs Kim asked with an innocent smile.

"I hung out with Felix, Changbin, and Hyunjin," Seungmin answered slowly, glancing briefly at Minho who was already staring intently at him.

"I hung out with Chan, Jisung, and also Hyunjin," Minho added, a small smile appearing on his lips as he saw Seungmin avoid his gaze.

"Oh, I know those boys. They're pretty close to my son's group of friends as well." Mrs Kim smiled happily. "They are all very sweet." She added.

"Yeah.." Minho chuckled softly as he rested his cheek against his hand, watching Seungmin with a faint smile as the younger continued to play with his food.

Seungmin groaned as he plopped down onto his bed, stretching his arms up above his head.

"Come on, Seungmin. It wasn't that bad." Minho chuckled lightly while lying beside Seungmin, lightly grabbing hold of Seungmin's wrist and tugging gently on it.

Seungmin rolled his eyes slightly, refusing to look directly at Minho as he turned his head away from him. "It was though. My family dinners aren't usually like that.." He mumbled quietly.

"There were a few questions asked. It really wasn't that bad, Minnie." Minho replied calmly while carefully playing with Seungmin's hand.

Seungmin let out a soft sigh before looking up at Minho. "It was awkward." He whispered softly.

"It's okay to be awkward sometimes. And besides, they probably didn't mean anything by it." Minho reassured as he gently rubbed Seungmin's knuckles.

Seungmin bit the inside of his cheek as he let out a soft grunt, rolling onto his side and leaning against Minho's chest.

"You're being weird.." Seungmin muttered as he felt Minho's fingers gently caress his cheek.

"Am I being weird?" Minho laughed softly, resting his chin on top of Seungmin's head.

Seungmin hummed lightly as he pushed himself away from Minho slightly so he could lie on his back with Minho lying beside him, propped up on his elbow as he stared down at the younger with an amused expression.

Seungmin blushed lightly, unable to meet Minho's gaze as he turned his face to hide his face in his pillows. "Yeah.." He muttered softly.

"Do I make you feel weird?" Minho asked quietly, running his fingers through Seungmin's hair gently.

"A little bit.." Seungmin admitted in a quiet voice, turning his head to face Minho who grinned softly at his slight confession.

"Why do I make you feel weird?" Minho teased softly with a chuckle as Seungmin let out another huff.

"It's just... you've been really touchy with me and it makes me feel like... hot and bothered.." Seungmin whispered softly, staring into Minho's dark eyes as he waited patiently for the older to respond.

Minho tilted his head slightly as he studied Seungmin for a couple of seconds, feeling the tips of his ears starting to redden. "Have I now?" Minho questioned quietly, his tone slightly husky.

"Yes.." Seungmin whispered softly, biting his lower lip lightly to stop himself from saying any more.

Minho chuckled lightly. "Is this because you think my touches are inappropriate?" He questioned teasingly, leaning down slightly until their faces were inches apart. "And is your heart pounding because you want me to do that again?" He added lowly, watching how Seungmin blushed brightly.

Seungmin didn't reply as he let out a shaky breath, his gaze falling down to Minho's lips which were barely hovering over his own for a short moment.

Minho lowered his head slightly until his nose touched Seungmin's softly, closing his eyes slightly as the younger closed his own.

Their noses brushed against each other a couple of times before Seungmin reluctantly pulled away and opened his eyes, staring up into Minho's darkening orbs.

Seungmin's breathing was quick and shallow, his heart thudded loudly within his chest. "Maybe.." He responded finally, his cheeks dark red. "I just don't know." He murmured softly, glancing hesitantly between Minho's eyes.
