The Timeskip

It's been 2 years since the book was opened and my dad ran off. Me and my mom were looking for him for the first year but never found a clue to where he was. We gave up after the first year and just went back home.Me and my mom have been living in dads old house with Happy. Of course I've been doing most of the chores because my mom is always out on jobs getting money for food and stuff like that. My mom came into the room and sat on the messy couch. She looked exhausted but she kept herself positive. I looked at her and smiled, she smiled back and said "Sorry sweetie. I should be doing the chores around the house not you." I looked at her and said "No no it's fine. I like doing the chores. Plus if you did the chores then who would get money for food?" My mom looked at me and I smiled. Happy groaned and said "I'm hungry! I want my fish!" My mom looked at Happy and yelled "You'll get your fish when it's dinner time alright!" Happy flinched and crossed his arms. My mom stood up and said "Okay time to get cleaning." I stood up too and said "Nope." My mom looked at me and said "What?" I shook my head and said "I'll do the cleaning. You get some rest mom." She sighed and said "Honey I'm fine. I'll clean up while you just sit back and rest." I sighed back and said "I said no mom. You are getting rest and taking tomorrow off! No exceptions!" She frowned as I pushed her to her room. After my mom was in bed asleep I started to clean up the living area then the kitchen and all the other rooms. Happy fell asleep watching me clean and I think he was dreaming about eating fish because he kept on saying "Come back fish! Let me eat you!" It got annoying so I just tuned him out. I wish dad were here to help out mom and me.

*The Next Day. Lucy's POV.*I walked into Nashi's room and saw that she wasn't in her bed. I walked into the living area and saw her sleeping on the floor with the broom lying next to her. I sighed and brought her to her room. I guess she stayed up all night cleaning up the rooms. She always works so hard when I can't. Natsu, why did you leave? I grabbed my coat, put on my socks and shoes then headed out the door to the guild hall. When I got there I walked over to the request board and started looking for a job I could take. Suddenly while I was looking Gray jumped in front T of me so I couldn't see the board. I stared at him and said "Gray! Move outta the way!" He shook his head and said "Nope. You're taking the day off. You come in here everyday looking for a job and you always finish them within an hour or two. You need to spend more time with Happy and Nashi. Nashi's your kid and Happy is you friend." I looked at the ground and quietly said "But if I don't work, we won't have enou-" gray cut me off by saying "Taking one day off won't hurt anything. And if it's money you need then I can help with that." I looked at Gray and he just smiled at me.

*???'s POV!*It's been so long since I've been here. Magnolia. I wonder if Lucy and Natsu ever got together? And if so did they have a kid?
