Chapter 6

KAI'S POV

The boy who I assumed was Harry began to walk out of the room. I didn't want him to leave, strangely, he made me feel safe. I know I shouldn't feel this way considering I don't know who he is, but as long as I felt safe, it wasn't weird. Was it? I had no clue because as far as I was concerned I had nothing to lose literally. 

"Don't leave me" I choked out again

He turned his head. I guess he was surprised that I was awake. I was going in and out of my sleep. His green eyes looked deep into mine. He just kept staring. I just kept looking back at him. He had flawless features, his dimples were absolutely adorable and his curls looked as soft as cotton. Even softer in my opionion. I know it sounded creepy and desperate but I wanted him to stay. Whatever happened I didnt want him to leave. I longed for him to stay, I would cry if he left to be honest. After what felt like a couple seconds he smiled showing his dimples. He slowly walked over to the bed and carefully laid down next to me. He pulled me close to him and just hugged me. I could hear his heart beating as I lay my head on his chest. I tried to get as close as possible to him. When we lay like this I just feel like everything is okay, like nothing can hurt me. I feel as if all of my worries that I ever feel are gone and all my stress has been lifted off my shoulders.

"I know you probably don't want to talk, but I want you to know you're safe. Those guys down there will not hurt you okay?" he said

Was he telling the truth? I assumed so because for some reason I believe him. I feel like he wouldn't lie to me even though he was fully capable of it. I felt as if he would never lie to me, like nothing he says can hurt me. I slowly nodded before saying,

"I'm just scared... but I trust you."

I felt a smile creep onto his lips, "Of course you can love, I would never hurt you."

A tear rolled down my cheek, "I know you wouldn't" 

He brushed the tear away with his thumb and he smiled at me for reassurance. 

"Don't cry, you have nothing to worry about, I'm not leaving your side."

I nodded and burried my face in his armpit. I know that's weird but I felt comfortable like that. I could smell the sweet smell of cologne. The smell soothed me. After rethinking about this boy Harry I found myself drift off to sleep.

HARRY'S POV

I could hear Kai snore just a tad bit, not enough to wake someone up. You could only tell if you were awake observing her, which I was. I wasn't sure why she was so scared. I knew something happened to her before, but I'm determined to find out what. I didn't want to scare her away so I'll only ask when I feel like she's comfortable here. I actually don't know anything about her really. Like where does she live? How old is she? Does she live with her parents? Where should I drop her off? I didn't want her to leave but not offering to take her home would be quite weird. When she wakes up I guess I'll offer for her to take and shower and let her eat then maybe I'd start talking to her alot. I wanted her to be comfortable first. She needs to know that I will be here for her. I wasn't sure if I should've called the police but I'll give her the option. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I began to feel her shake.

I turned my head and looked at her. She was murmuring in her sleep and shaking faster by the second. I sat upright quickly and took her hand in mine and I was caressing her head with my hand and rubbing my fingers though her hair. This seemed to calm her although I wasn't sure if she was awake. I pulled her closer to me so that her head was in my lap and I was sitting against the headboard. I kept one of my hands entwined with her's and reached for my phone without waking her up.

I opened up my twitter and began to read tweets. (AN: all these twitter usernames are made up, they can belong to someone but Idk. enjoy)

"@Harrybangme" @Harry_Styles follow me please i love you so much please 24" I hit the follow button and went to her profile. I love following people and then waiting for them to tweet once they realized I'd followed them. I kept refreshing the page until I began to get impatient. As soon as I was about to follow more people I realized she tweeted.

"@Harrybangme OMGIULGNEIUSEHUIER I CANNOT BREATHE RIGHT NOW HARRY STYLES FOLLOWED ME, IM DREAMING. "

I laughed to myself and felt good about myself. I hit back to my mentions and I followed about 15 more people before I felt Kai shift. I looked up from my phone and let my eyes adjust and looked down at Kai. Her eyes were open and staring up at me. I smiled,

"How'd you sleep love?"

She nodded, "good" she said quietly. 

I could tell she was still a quite bit timid but that would all change with time. How long is the question? I wasn't sure what to say and I began to stutter,

"Wha- what do you want to do?" 

she looked at me confused and I began to say again,

"I mean do you want to take a shower?"

She nodded and I got up from my bed. I grabbed a nice fluffly blue towel and turned to her and realized she had no extra clothes. She was looking at me and I saw her blush. She was so cute. 

"Erm do you need to borrow some clothes?"

She looked down at her fingers and nodded. 

I turned back to my dresser and got her a pair of my boxers and a t shirt which I assumed would be too big on her, but I guess that's all I had to offer. I walked back over to her and handed her the clothes and towel. She just sat on the bed and looked at me. I realized she didn't know where the bathroom was.

"Oh um follow me."

I grabbed her hand and walked her out of my room. I could hear Louis shouting from the kitchen, him just being him and lead her to outside the bathroom. 

"There ya go, if you need anything... just shout." 

She giggled a tiny bit and shut the door behind her, and heard a click of the lock.

I walked downstairs and followed the smell of... bacon? I entered the kitchen and to my discovery, my nose was right. There was a plate of bacon and I ran over to it and grabbed some and stuffed them in my mouth. Mmm.. bacon.

"Hey!" Niall said slapping my arm.

"Ow!" 

"Those are mine, sorry"

I laughed, "okay"

KAI'S POV

I locked the door behind me and observed the bathroom. It was a small bathroom with just a toilet, sink and a tub but thats just perfect to me. I set my clothes and towel on the sink and walked over to the tub. I adjusted the water to the right amount of cold. I know I'm weird, I enjoy cold showers. I feel like someone is peeing on me if I take warm showers. I don't know. Anyways I stepped out of my clothing that was occupying my body before and stepped into the tub. I let the water soak my hair and I just stood there for a little bit. It felt relaxing, I stayed under the cool water for about two minutes and decided I should actually shower.

I massaged the sweet smelling shampoo into my hair and made sure I scrubbed good enough. I was dirty as hell and I probably stink really bad. I took about ten more minutes in the shower and i decided I was done. I turned off the water and stood in the tub. I was scared to get out because I knew I would be cold. As soon as I pushed the curtain to the side, I was right, a cool breeze past me and I shivered frantically grabbing my towel. I wrapped it around me and began drying myself. As soon as I was done I slipped into Harry's clothes and smelled them. Of course, it smelled like him, his cologne. I loved that smell. I opened the door and I realized, what was I going to do? Walk into the kitchen? Should I go to his room, what should I do? I decided to grow some man balls and I walked to where I heard talking.

I walked into the kitchen and looked around I saw Harry immediately and I felt relieved. He was the one I trusted, and I felt safe. Now it wouldn't be as awkward if I saw anyone else. He was looking down on the stove and he was making something. I assumed it was breakfeast because I could smell the bacon. I hadn't realized how hungry I was until I smelled food. My stomach was growling very loudly and I felt like I hadn't eaten in days, that's when I realized I hadn't eaten in days.

Harry turned around and was a bit startled but then he realized it was me. That beautiful smiled flashed across his face and he said,

"Kai! How was the shower?"

I barely whispered, "Good"

He walked over to me and touched the end of my hair. Butterflies erupted in my tummy. 

"Are you hungry?"

I smiled, "You just read my mind."
