Oh, beautiful baby boy!

On this day, June 8, 2015. It was a cloudy rainy day, with no wind. It wasn't a beautiful day, but a beautiful baby was born, and his parents named him Kingsley. He had to have a little extra care because he was born a few days premature. And the parents didn't like that. Kingsley had little brown eyes that the parents were disgusted with. They hated baby Kingsley, as they thought he was very ugly. Peregrine on the other hand thought he was wonderful. She thought he was a blessing. Even though she was only 2.

It had been a couple years later. Kingsley was 2 and Peregrine was 4. Kingsley woke up during the night and started to cry, but nobody came. Nobody cared, except for one little girl. She walked in with her older sister attitude and took care of her baby brother. She held him and shushed him until he fell back asleep. She placed him back in the bed, and gave him a little kiss and covered him.

Peregrine went back to bed and let sleep take her away. Her and Kingsley's parents were very glad that he eventually stopped crying, as they were getting very annoyed and put their heads under the pillow. They couldn't stop thinking about how they hated Kingsley, they despised him. They thought he was absolutely disgusting. His brown curly hair and eyes disgusting them both. But Peregrine on the other hand loved him, and the parents didn't know why.

They always went out to parties and clubs and would always come back home with a hangover, leaving Peregrine on her own to take care of Kingsley. But she enjoyed it. She loved to play with him and entertain him while their parents were gone. Peregrine promised to love and protect Kingsley no matter the cost, just like Eric and Cassie promised to protect her no matter what.
