Hello everyone! I'm excited to announce that a sequel is currently in the works for Contrasting Tendencies! Below is the cover for the story, a brief summary of the plot and a sneak peek chapter that jumps right into the action! Let me know what you think!

"An infinite number of alternate dimensions gather in a single place. There, one is able to leave their own world and travel to another. " -Unknown

A particularly bitter and savage Raphael learns he's not alone in the universe. He's shown visions of his other selves by a cloaked figure promising him a chance at life unburdened by loneliness and regret. The only thing he has to do? Kill the Raphael in that dimension, then she can be all his.

~Sneak peek chapter- Editors Edition~

{Insert long enemy monologue}"Oh give it a rest, let Leo go. We're the same person, I know you're not gonna hurt him." Oh how wrong he was, in both aspects. "See, that's the thing, bud.." I felt my grip tighten around the throat of this world's version of Leo, the hatred I harbored made me throttle him between my fingers easily. He gasped breathlessly and his eyes grew unfocused. Raph drew his sai's and charged me just as I knew he would when he realized I wasn't bluffing. I threw the limp blue-clad turtle and grabbed my sorely lacking better half, slamming him in his brother's place. Ignoring the blades pressed against my throat, I grinned wildly. He seethed up at me, brows furrowed in concentration to hold his form against my opposing strength. "You might be me, but I am not you." I corrected before slamming my elbow down, the bone point connecting with his shoulder, mangling his rotator cuff. He roared in pain and went to impale the yoku of his sai into my neck, but I rolled off him, sliding to my feet with ease, my focus shifting to Miya. She watched me, wrath taking over her features. As he stood, her eyes blinked to find him, panic filled them as he winced when he rolled his shoulder out, assessing the damage and lowering back into a fighting position.I knew she loved him, but seeing it firsthand only drove me harder. "That's sure gonna make it hard to sling blades, isn't is?" I baited knowing well enough how a fucked shoulder could ruin our day. "I knew I was an asshole..but this whole roided out, psychotic kidnapper thing, I mean come on.."  He said side-stepping to stand in front of her, forcing my eyes on him instead of the woman I'd come here for. "My brothers are never gonna let me live this down, you know that right?" His eyes were hard and focused, and although his attitude was smug and a little worn, he still didn't seem to understand that I was going to take his woman. His resilience was as grating as his attempts at humor. He reminded me of Mikey. The sharp pang in my chest made me bristle in betrayal. Why didn't I get a family, someone to love and to love me?I deserved it. After all I'd protected, after all I lost. After my brothers betrayed me. I deserved her. He tensed seeing me lock back in, my eyes going to her behind him. She glared at me hatefully. Her dark eyes enticing me with their depth. She didn't fear me, I couldn't wait to teach her why she should. That the blind faith she had in her Raphael was misplaced. A blinding pain seared my leg and my teeth unclenched to let out a yell of pain. The sword that had been driven through my thigh was pulled out quickly, letting blood waterfall from the wound. "God dammit." I spat whirling around. Leo flicked his blade slinging drops of my blood across the hardwood. He'd apparently come to and managed to mount an attack while I'd been distracted. "Is the me in your world on a vacation or something? Why aren't I here kicking your ass?" He asked circling me.My steps faltered as the muscles in my leg constricted painfully, my blood slicking down my calf and leaving a print whenever I stepped. I'd gotten nostalgic and left myself open. Rage boiled under my skin as the two brothers closed ranks and faced me. "He's dead." As I spoke my eyes bore into Leo's, I noticed they were almost the same shade of blue as my own older brothers. "I killed him." A spark of satisfaction lit in my chest seeing his shock. I grinned, enjoying seeing the gravity of their situation sink in on their faces. "Run Miya." Raph ordered her, not taking his eyes off me. "Yes Miya, please run. I love to chase." I growled, enjoying the image of descending down onto her, pulling her lithe body into mine and feeling its warmth. "If you're thinking what I think you're thinking, I'm gonna make sure you go home in a body bag." My duplicate promised me, tightening his grip on the hilts of his weapons. I noticed only one was directed towards me. I smirked at him in challenge as the girl took off running.

End sneak peak.
