I woke with a groan. My head was pounding, and my throat was dry. I started coughing and saw blood spit on the floor. My eyes widened.

"Yeah, sorry about shoving witch hazel and wolfsbane down your throat. It was for this exact, affect." She chuckled to herself.

Then, she changed the subject as quick as someone dies from a snapped neck.

"So how's my doppelgänger?" She swung her feet back and forth as they hung off the edge of the tall stool she's sat on.

"She's doing just fantastic!" I exaggerated. "You ruining her life an all." She smirked and clapped.

"Now, how's my hybrid?" Anger boiled up inside me. The urge to want to rip her head off and heart out becoming stronger.

I chanted something and she fell to the floor, screaming in pain. I stopped and she started laughing, catching her breath as well.

"I'm kidding. No need to get mad, I'm all team kaleijha." I rose my eyebrows. "Katherine, and Elijah." ( a/n mind me, I made this up, and I'm not sure if it's the actual thing, comment what it is thank u! )

I nodded my head as if understanding. "Alright I'm bored so I might as well allow you to feel the pain I planned on you feeling." She starred into my eyes.

"Feel." She spoke slowly.

I screamed in pain. Finally taking a look, I saw I was literally nailed, to a chair. I thrashed but that caused more pain. "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" I attempted to say a spell but failed. Witch hazel and wolfsbane.

"Bitch." I muttered and fell into a sleep from adrenaline.

Klaus pov ( night of the ball )

As the love of my life stood in front of me, admitting her love to me, I felt my heart skip a few beats, and trust me when I say, my heart never, skips beats.

As I opened my mouth to declare my love for her as well, instead of 'I love you too' and the reasons why and all that, the name 'Katerina' came out.

She smirked. "Freedom is all I've ever wanted Niklaus, and now that I have the key to your heart, maybe you'll actually consider giving it to me." With that she was gone.

"Brother, what has happened?" I heard Elijah growl slightly.

"Katerina happened." I grimaced. I knew having a lover would cause my enemies to use her against me, that's why I've been getting protective. But this is Katerina Petrova, Katherine Pierce. The manipulating bitch.

"Let's go get the love of your life brother. So this time I can kill her." He sighed, but followed me anyway.

The mate bond has grown more now that she has said her love for me, so I caught sent of her her and followed that until it was at its strongest point. Of course. The top of the clock tower.

I took out my cellphone and dialed her number. "Ah, I was wondering when you'd call." I could hear the sarcastic smile.

"Katerina, I will let you know, I know exactly where you are." I stated as I sped up the stairs.

"Now do you?" She giggled. I rolled my eyes. Such a flirt, yet such a bitch.

I opened the door to this one took at the top that held the clocked part and saw Katerina standing right next to an unconscious girl with long curly brown hair, a beautiful dress that suits her perfectly, and nails everywhere on her, keeping her against the chair. Damn that must hurt.

Katerina turned around as Elijah walked into the room and her smirk dropped.

"How did you find me?" I smirked. This wasn't part of her game plan.

"Oh wouldn't you like to know?" I taunted. I took a brown piece of wood off a chair and staked her against the wall, she thrashed but that only made it worse.

"Please Klaus, I'll give you Electrica back, but only if you give me my freedom." Is she serious? I could've been a hybrid five hundred years or so ago, if she had just complied. But no. I'm getting really sick of these Petrova doppelgängers.

"Brother," Elijah said as if reading my thoughts. Wait? He was wasn't he?

"Yes. Still am. But maybe you should consider it, not because I want to be with her, I really do, but because, say you became a hybrid long ago, would you have gotten to have such a wonderful girl such as Electrica, I think not." He's right now that I think about it.

Ella wouldn't be my mate, I probably wouldn't of even met her.

"Fine. But, Elijah, you must keep eyes on her at all times, and if she crosses me again, she's dead." Elijah nodded, ripped the stake out then sped off with his lover as I rushed towards mine.

"Love, c'mon Ella, baby wake up." She groaned slightly, rolled her head to the other side, and fell unconscious again. I sighed.

Carefully taking out each and every nail, I picked her up bridal style and sped us out of that place.

When I there, I spotted the eldest Salvatore, and the doppelgänger.

"Ah, to what do I owe the pleasure?" I said as I laid her down softly on the couch.

"We came to see if she was well." The dopple girl stated.

"Elena darling, your sister, my mate, is going to be perfectly perfect. " I said, with a hope for that to satisfy her.

She nodded and gulped. I could hear that human heart of hers starting to beat back to a normal pace.

"I'm just gonna, go. Let me know when she wakes up." I nodded and she walked off.

I turned to look at my least yet, favorite Salvatore. He had saved my loves life. I had to thank him at some point.

"I didn't get to thank you." I said coldly. He rose an eyebrow.

"For what? I didn't do anything." I chuckled.

"For saving the love of my life. Damon Salvatore, you truly are a great man. Although it pains me to say this, I just can't really understand why Electrica wouldn't be with you." He furrowed his eyebrows but nodded.

"Thanks Klaus." I nodded and watched him walk off. Now, we wait.

Electricas pov

I woke up with a start. And when I sat up the first thing my eyes landed on was the man I love. My mate. My hybrid. My Niklaus Mikaelson.

I smiled and jumped into his arms. Not caring about the pain that courses through my body.

I held to him tightly. Burying my face in his neck. Taking in his scent. He held me close to his body. Never wanting to let go.

I pulled back and felt some tears stroll down my face. He wiped them away, and even kissed some.

"You saved me." He grinned, showing off his amazing dimples.

"I will always, save you." I ran my dangers through his hair.

"Last time I talked to you, I told you I love you. Do you feel the same?" He broke into a smile. But I didn't pay attention to that.

I saw his eyes light up with electricity and love, adoration, and the beautiful blue smiled for him.

"I love you, Electrica Gilbert. And don't let anyone, tell you otherwise." My heart beat increased and I smiled widely.

"I can't tell you how much that means to me." I slammed my lips against his, kissing him passionately, which he of course did back.
