Full Moon And Mates

I screamed as my head began to pound and I felt my bones begin to shift, but they really weren't. My mind thought I was shifting but I wasn't.

Earlier when Bekkah and Elijah got home I had told them to stay away and leave. I couldn't handle if I had actually bit or hurt them in any way.

It wasn't even close to being morning and the pain was unbearable.

The emotions that washed over me made the pain worse. The fact that my parents are probably dead and that I'm all alone.

I fall onto my knees and cry. "Please, make it stop!" I plead. "Please, stop this." I lay on my side in a ball as I cry from the pain.

My room was destroyed and some things around the house were smashed and broken. I could shift. The moon was now at its highest peak. I could shift and all the pain would go away.

I was in the living room, couches moved out of the way and I shouted as I shifted into a wolf, the pain finally easing away.

The door opened and Klaus walked in, narrowing his eyes at the big grey wolf in front of him. I just sat there, watching with a tilted head.

"Love, please shift back." Klaus asked and I closed my eyes, feeling myself form into my human body. The pain was gone, and I was so relieved.

Klaus helped me up and wrapped me in his arms, carrying me to a room. He laid down next to me and I cuddled up to him, falling asleep in seconds.

I woke up with strong arms still wrapped around me. My eyes moved up to a Hybrid staring back at me.

"Next time I am not leaving you alone. And you're going to shift right away. The house is destroyed." We both laughed and I slapped his chest playfully.

"Sorry about that. It's just, I didn't want to shift. I wanted to try to control if. I was able to control my powers for the most part, but other than that the pain was horrible." Klaus nodded and we sat in silence.

I started thinking and then decided to talk. "Is this one sided? This sparks and want." I asked, looking up at him.

Klaus stared down at me and kissed my forehead. Something so unexpected of a heartless psychopath.

"Let's go and talk to Elijah. I'm almost positive he would know something." We got up and Klaus kept his arm around my waist even walking into the living room.

"Elijah, please dear brother elaborate." Klaus asked as he held me on his lap.

"You both are hybrids correct?" He began. We both nodded. "And both have a wolf half?" We nodded again. "Well you see, wolves tend to have mates, hybrids though, won't find their mate until there's another original one somewhat like them. It has happened only twice before. With electricas mother and electricas brother who has found his mate." My jaw fell, but I couldn't find any words to speak.

"I thought it was only me and my mom. I have a brother? And there's more of me out there?" Elijah didn't answer and I understood.

"Ella before you get sad, your brother is off the charts. I do not know of your mother though," Elijah quickly added.

"So we are mates? That's why I feel butterflies and tingles and sparks and it makes me hate him so much but that only makes him more attractive." I didn't feel ashamed. It was the truth. Klaus chuckled behind me and rubbed my thigh.

"Klaus do you think our little witch here is your mate?" I looked back at Klaus and met his eyes, seeing the slight hesitation.

"Yes I do. I will not lie I have felt affection and many other emotions toward this little thing, including annoyance." We both laughed.

"But I would like to find out more. So for now, we will pause on finding a way to make hybrids without using your sisters blood. Although I do need them to fend off enemies now that I have a mate. But it can wait." I smiled slightly and leaned into him more.

Elijah watched us curiously before giving us more input. "I'm positive there is more information back in Mystic Falls." I get to go home.

"Love, your new home is going to be wherever I am." My face went red, and I rolled my eyes.

"Be careful of what you think Ella, my brother is a sneaky bastard at heart. I'll see you in mystic falls." We waved and I looked at Klaus.

"So mates huh?" He smirked and went to kiss my lips but I turned my head so that he kissed my cheek instead.

Klaus growled and I laughed, getting out of his lap and running up to my room, only for him to trap me between him and a wall.

Klaus leaned in and whispered in my ear: "My little hybrid."

I was sitting next to Klaus in his room, playing with his blonde curls.

"So, when are we going to Mystic Falls?" I asked, leaning over him.

Klaus held his hands on my waist and pulled me down so I was sitting on his lap.

"I guess tomorrow. Plus, Marcellus is getting quite agitating." I laughed and nodded in agreement.

Klaus got up and took off his black shirt he had on, throwing it towards me which I caught easily. "I have my own clothes ya know."

He shrugged and then stripped down till he was in his boxers. Pulling on some sweatpants I then got up and walked into the bathroom to change myself.

When I exited the bathroom Klaus was sitting under the covers already and I got in next to him, putting some space between him an I.

Klaus pulled me close and wrapped an arm around my waist to keep me there.

"Goodnight love." He whispered and I sighed in content.

"Goodnight." I yawned and fell into a soundless sleep.
