Chapter 10

21:17, 4 January 2015

Hey guys! I apologize for not writing in a long time, I just didn't have a good idea about what to write. I do now, though, so here it is. And this is kind of a new part, since Killian isn't frozen and all, ya know. So yeah, enjoy (:-X X X-"What are we gonna do today?" Henry asked excitedly.

Emma approached the couch where Henry was lazily slouching. "Wow," she responded as she sat down with him. "I really wish I had as much energy as you sometimes, kid."

Henry chuckled at her. He was about to speak when Killian came into the room wearing Emma's robe. Wearing nothing else, his hair was ruffled with his eyes barely open. He stumbled on a piece of furniture, attracting the attention of Emma and Henry.

Their heads turned back to him. "Killian?" Emma asked.

"Sorry, love," his voice was raspy.

Emma noticed his appearance and immediately reacted. Her eyes went wide, "Killian!" She got up from the couch and raced towards him. "Oh...my God, Killian." She grabbed his hand, pulling him back into her bedroom and slamming the door.

"Woah, Swan. Happy to see me, are you?" He said, putting on his devilish smirk and grabbing her waist.

"Killian," she started, removing his hand. "Henry was out there with me. I'm pretty sure he's not comfortable with you walking around in nothing but my robe. You-you're just lucky that my parents weren't out there."

"Emma, I apologize. I didn't realize the lad was with you. It won't happen again." He promised, reaching for her again.

She sighed. "Okay, yeah. I'm sorry for overreacting, I-"

"No, love, you didn't overreact. It was my fault."

She smiled lightly. "Killian?"

"Aye?"

"Are you really wearing nothing but my robe?" She asked, trying to keep her smile in.

He moved the tip of his tongue around the top of his mouth, smirking at her. "Aye."

She bursted out laughing, but kept it down because of Henry. "Oh my gosh, you are so-"

"I know," he interrupted, smiling.

She giggled and playfully slapped him on the chest.

"Hey, it's comfortable," he explained, imitating a child's voice. "Would you like to share?" his hook reached for the ties.

Emma opened her mouth quickly, "Killian, no. Do not take off the robe." She tried to stay serious and not laugh at how ridiculously adorable he was being.

"Come on, love. It's so soft," he moved closer to her and loosened the knot.

"No-Killian." She couldn't take it anymore.

She grabbed his face with her hands, aggressively pressing her lips on his. His hand and hook moved to behind her back as he quickly fell into the kiss with her. Her hands ran through his hair as his hand transferred to her front.

Their lips departed, breathing heavily, their foreheads resting on each other.

"Swan," he began. Her eyes met his in response. "How would you like to go out tonight? The two of us? Not too fancy, just...out for a drink. How does that sound?"

She smiled brightly, nodding. "Yeah, that'd be good."

"Yeah?" He grinned, kissing her again.

She looked up, "Killian."

"Aye?"

"Take off the robe."

"I mean, it's just 'out for a drink,'" Emma imitated Killian's accent, looking back at Red.

"Yeah, I see. Well, I can't say that I know him too well, but from living in Storybrooke as Ruby, I know a few a things. And I can assume a few things about him." She pushed some clothes aside in the store, pulling out a navy blue dress.

"Oh, my God, he will love this. And you would look so good in it." She smiled.

"Really?" Emma said, taking the dress from her. She held it up to her body in front of the mirror. "Yeah, I think I'll go with this. Thank you so much, Red."

"Hey, it's no problem. Listen, I'm really happy for you two. I think you deserve each other."

Emma looked back at her and smiled deeply. They hugged and talked a while longer until Red needed to leave. Emma finished getting ready when she heard a knock.

Opening the door, she saw Killian scanning her at once. "Wow," he breathed. "You look stunning, Swan."

She grinned, "You look..."

"I know," he replied, making her laugh softly.

"So, shall we?" He asked.

"We shall." She left her apartment, holding his hand as they walked together.

They sat down at the bar, Killian taking off his jacket.

"So," she began, "What's the whole reason for this?"

"I just thought I should say thank you. You saved my life, Swan."

"It was my pleasure," she smiled.

The bartender brought them two drinks. They both grabbed one as Emma held up her glass. "To us."

Killian smiled, "To us."

Emma couldn't stop laughing, "Do you have any idea how conflicted I was on that beanstalk? I mean, really really conflicted, I was."

"Mhm," Killian nodded, enjoying the fact the she had had three times as many drinks as him.

"No, I don't think you do. I mean, here I am with this guy, right? And it's you! And you just keep asking me about love and I'm thinking, 'What the hell?'" She laughed, her words slurred out of her mouth.

"I am climbing a beanstalk with this gorgeous man, I mean, come on, you're gorgeous. And then you spilt rum on my hands and, I don't know why we didn't just get together right there, you know? But I am so conflicted and protective of myself. And Killian, guess what?"

"What?" He smirked.

"I should not have left you on that beanstalk." She focused herself for a second. He stared at her, now with sympathy.

"Do you think..," she paused. "Do you think things would be better if I hadn't?"

She seemed truly sober when she spoke now. He took her hand, "Love, everything that happened in the past made what is happening right now, happen. If you hadn't left me on that beanstalk, we might not be together right now." He explained.

She let out a lot of air and sighed, "Yeah, I suppose you're right." Her voice was like a child's again.

A long pause occurred until Killian spoke again, smirking, "You really thought I was gorgeous then?"

She smiled, resting her face on her hand, "Yeah." She moved her head back to Killian. "Can I have another drink?"

"Sure," he laughed.

"So, what about you?" She asked.

"Sorry?"

"What were you thinking that day? What'd you think of me?"

"What'd I think of you?" He repeated.

"Yeah," she nodded, her head moving slowly.

"I thought you were the most beautiful woman in the world."

Emma began to giggle, "Pffft, nuh-uh."

"Aye."

"What about Mila?" Her words skipped as she said the name.

"Swan, no one compares to your beauty."

She stopped and looked up at him, genuinely touched. "Killian," she breathed out. "Do I deserve you?" Her fingers played with each other as she nervously stared at him.

His deep blue eyes looked back at her, his face filled with emotion as he leaned in to kiss her. He caressed her face with his hand as she melted at his touch. "I love you." He said. "Sometimes I feel I don't deserve you, but I love you, more than anyone ever could."

"I love you, too."

Two Hours Later

"Have you ever thought about attaching something else to your hand besides a hook? I mean a hook is kind of dangerous. What if, what if you just put like a, like a..oh I don't know, something fun and not as...pointy."

"Hmm," he tried to contain his smile.

"Oh! I know, I got it. I've got it. You could have different utensils, right? Like, like a fork, or a spoon, or a toothbrush!"

"A toothbrush?" Killian did his best to sound enthusiastic.

"Yes! I am so clever. You're very welcome."

"Oh thank you, love. I don't know what I would do without you." He grinned.

"Yup," she turned to him. "Oh, Killian, don't make that face. No that's not gonna work, stop it."

He chuckled, still smirking innocently, "What face?"

"You are just trying to get me to kiss you, I know that face. It's not going to work, okay?" Her words were smooth and slurred.

"Swan, I have no idea," he shifted to the edge of his seat. "What," his hand gently ran up her thigh as she stared at him. "You're," she brought her face closer to his, inches apart. "Talking about," his voice no louder than a whisper now, she couldn't resist it anymore.

She gently reached for his lips their kiss soft and passionate. Then, she started to get aggressive, but just as passionate.

As he felt how eager she was, he stopped her briefly. "Wanna get out of here?" He breathed heavily.

She nodded as fast as she could. Killian got up from his seat, as she grabbed his hand and hook and she hopped out of her's. He left money as they made their way for the door.

"Oh, wow. It's way colder than it was when we got here."

Killian wrapped his jacket around her figure as she shivered. "Here, love."

"Killian," she said, back to a kid's voice. "Will you carry me?" She held her arms out.

"Sure," he immediately swept her off of her feet, her arms wrapping around his neck. "Okay?"

"Woah," she exclaimed. "Déjà vu." She started cracking up in his arms, remembering when she was carried like this by the past Killian.

A confused expression crossed his face. "Actually, babe, could you give me a piggyback ride?" She asked.

"A what?"

"Here I'll show you." He set her back down, waiting for her to explain.

"Okay, now you're gonna support me with your hand and this baby," she touched his hook lightly. "I simply just jump on your back, okay?"

"Okay." He responded, nodding.

"Ready? One, two, three!" Emma jumped on him as he quickly caught her legs and began laughing.

"Now take me home, Pirate!" She shouted, some people staring. He didn't care, though, and neither did she. They just laughed with each other as he carried her home.
